Chapter 35: The Wolves at our Doorsteps

Selk's P.O.V.

Huh? I wonder why Abriela is so upset? Did that other demon girl told her an unsavory joke or something? Or maybe she was told the reason why all of them have gathered in one team? I wish I eavesdropped on their conversation. There's no way they would move like this without a specific reason. 

Unfortunately, I can't talk to Prof. Levizla anymore, since we're all off to our respective hunting areas. My team was ushered on by Prof. Lector as we made our way to the designated area.  Along the way, Sasami engaged small talk with me about how much she learned from my lectures.

Sasami: "Sir Selk, I just wanted to thank you for teaching us about your techniques on improving flesh magic. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have found my love for my own magic."

Sasami said energetically, as her short raven hair bounce along with her steps.
