67 Entry Exam first eliminations

The 3 kids walked through the gates full of determination and excitement. All they could see was a wide spacious area that could hold over 5 thousand people and still wouldn't be crowded.

The floor has white shiny tiles, reflecting the sun light from the open roof. There was kids of all ages scattered around the area. Some was keeping to themselves, some had small groups, and there was some people trying to make friends, but everyone kept there voices low.

It was noisy but at the same time it wasn't. There was a stage further back with a 3 stories building behind it. No one was on the stage yet but Ryan couldn't help feel like he was being watch constantly.

There were people that was at the Starfall Arena here, but the majority was lower class kids. Some kids was from well known families even though the families already got there true talents in with referrals. These kids may not be the best in there family but that doesn't mean they aren't talented in there own right.

People still was coming in non stop, there were still 2 more hours before the Entry Exam starts. Ryan and the siblings just stayed in there group of three the entire time as time went past.

2 hours later the gates closed and people started walking out the building catching people attention. Everyone naturally stopped talking as the people made there way on stage.

A guy stood in the front center naturally catching everyone attention. He was tall and sturdy, and even in this relaxed environment, his pose held power. The way his shirt stretched taut around his shoulders when he shifted snagged and held people attention.

Ryan couldn't help but wondered if he had picked that shirt on purpose. He had to know the thin fabric clung close to his body, showing off every rippling muscle underneath.

The guy spoke in a voice filled with dominance. "I am a representative of the city lord and the organizer of the entry exam." He paused, while his eyes scan across the kids.

"I am not here to waste time, so lets get right into the meat of everything. There are over 2 thousand kids here, and the majority of yall will fail."

Once his words left his mouth the atmosphere changed, it became heavy like a mountain was getting pressed down on everyone. But the guy didn't seem changed in any way, he stayed talking in his same tone of voice that was filled with dominance.

"We only want the best of the best, the talents, the geniuses, the elites, the hard working, the cream of the crop."

As each word left his mouth the atmosphere continued to get heavier and heavier. Some kids already starting to sweat.

"We understand not everyone have the same starting point, we understand the struggles of the less fortunate, and we understand that all they need is a opportunity to sora up."

The atmosphere continued to get heavier, and even Ryan and the siblings started to struggle staying up. No one knows this for sure, but they all have a feeling if they hit the ground the exam will be over for them.

"If yall can't handle the pressure and fight to become stronger. Than yall not worthy of being part of the best." The guy yelled with more conviction in his tone.

The atmosphere instantly got heavier, and kids started dropping. Each second that passed a few more kids drop to the ground gasping for air.

Ryan still was able to keep his head high but you could tell he wasn't having a easy time. Brian actually seemed to be doing slightly better than Ryan, while Elizabeth indifferent expression was gone, replaced with a struggling one.

"I know right now alot of people are feeling indignant. Yall probably thinking to yourself I'm not a fighter I'm a forger, or alchemist, maybe formation master."

Many kids that already on the ground had a slight embarrass expression.

"Do you think we are stupid enough to not understand something so simple. It doesn't take strength to resist the pressure, it takes will power. A strong determination to not give up and persist. No matter who you are without the will power to overcome your own limits, you will never make it to the top. We Only want the best of the best, the future elites, but that doesn't mean the best currently."

By now 700 students was already on the ground and people still was dropping occasionally.

"With that being said if you already feel like its impossible to keep going now, its better just to give up. If you pass the exam this is something we will expect from you, everyday you should be better than the day before. After 60 seconds the pressure will disappear, will you squeeze out more will power to keep going or will you give up because its to hard."

As the seconds tick down many kids tried there bbest not to crumble. You can see the gritting there teeth, legs bending, and even some was trying to hold on other people to stay up.

At the end of the 60 seconds a little less than half the kids was on the ground.

"For the people that couldn't remain standing, yall failed. Quietly walk through that door to leave and we know every single person that hit the ground. We won't be tolerating any people that can't fallow a simple direction, and try to stay." The city lord representative said as he pointed at the door.

The kids had dejected expression as they got up and slowly walked through the door. It didn't take to long for them to all leave.

"Was that everyone that was on the ground?" You could hear the annoyance in his tone.

There was a couple kids sweating nervously, and just as they was about to move a loud sigh could be heard.

The representative raised his hand and they felt a scorching aura emitting from his body, swelling over everyone's faces. A dazzling scarlet red fire was quickly condensed within his right hand.

Following this, a fiery red power rapidly grew on his half gripped hands, it was incomparably violent. The flame shot out like an arrow straight up in the air, and gave off a scarlet red delicacy. After that, it split apart and became like a bullet, accurately and unmistakably penetrating the body's of the students that shouldn't be there. They didn't have a chance to dodge, or even scream for that matter.

Everyone eyes was wide open in shock at what they just witnessed, and they didn't dare to say word about it. The only thing that was left of the 7 kids, was a pile of ash.
