The birth of a fox part-1
In a room in some place of a certain kingdom, one person was talking with a strange device, it seemed like there was nothing but if you looked closely you would see a semi-transparent table with a lot of geometrical formations, there were three main ones and twenty other surrounding the main ones.
Each main formation has a crest representing something in its center.
Every one of them seems to show something similar to a shade; each one of them is similar but has some differences. The first one starting from the left is a face looking at the right, it resembles a human head, but if you examine it you can find slightly longer and pointy ears, the one in the middle is also a head looking to the right but this time its ears seem normal, it's just that it has a giant beard that hides the major part of its face characteristics, and the last one is as the other sigils, a head, but this time, it is looking to it's left. What makes it different is that it has animal ears surfacing from the top of its head.
Those were the crest representing three different races in the world, elves, dwarfs, and beast-kin.
And the person talking with those seals was no other than the representative of humanity itself. The setup on the translucent table has magic circles to communicate with each representative of every race designated by those.
The twenty circles surrounding each of the main magic circles, were like a password and a codification method, the code made will enter the magical signal send by the magic so only the ones with the password and the special decoder could receive the information, the magic fluctuations were carrying all that and if someone caught them they would need to decode all meanwhile the call between representants progressed.
The code was ever-changing, so without the right settings, nobody should be able to intercept it. The contents of this reunion were very important for everyone in that magic call, normally they would be already fighting each other and yelling at everything the others tried to say but the matter this time was so huge that none of them dared to create problems.
It is not a normal sight to see this type of reunion, and less one in which there was no infighting, but the matter to discuss this time was just too much...
"So any plans about how to deal with those disgusting foxes?" Said the human representant
Following that question, the elf crest started shining. "We elves propose to make each race make four little armies and sent them to different places."
"It seems a good idea for us, as much as I hate being on the same page as those elves if we make a joined army between races, in this case, it might backfire" The dwarf seal finished shining when the voice stopped.
"True, we can't let them make use of the fights between ourselves to escape as they have already done before." The beast-kin representant said
"We just have to remember the last try we made to eradicate those damn foxes from the planet, those hateful inferior beings dared to use their illusion magic to make our soldiers fight themselves." Said the human
"So we decide on doing that? Ok, but all of you have encrypted the call in an ever-changing patron? I don't want that those foxes stay alive because they figured out our plans. After all, they have already intercepted the call once, which wasn't very pleasant, and we failed to destroy them after a full week of planning because of that same mistake." Said the beast-kin
"We've already taken measures this time, We all have over twenty magic circles hiding the magic fluctuations and coding it all. Inside the room and outside too." Answered the human
"Better, we all know that this one might be our last chance to take them down..." said the elf
"If we don't take them down tomorrow the prophecy might become a reality, and we don't want that damn race to survive." said the human
"We will have to ensure we catch all of them this time, and if we can't... We'll need to enslave some and torture them till they show us to their companions." Said the dwarf
"We already tried that but that damn hateful inferior race won't sell its own kind. But we don't have any other way than to try that if we fail... Because if not, well you know..." Said the beast-kin

In a forest, inside an illusion dome that surrounds a certain area, one person was going to a certain cave in a good mood. It was no other than the leader of one of the three last fox groups. The foxes have been hunted down since they existed, they were considered an inferior race because they don't have any primordial or any god that backed them up as the other races did.
There was no other race apart from the foxes that didn't have any backing so they were always considered inferior by the others.
The foxes have always been a family-oriented race, they consider every one of them as a family, in part because they have a spiritual connection between them, it connects all foxes and when more related stronger the connection they can feel from it.
The foxes may have been hunted for over 6000 years and they are in a problem. They are near extinction, but there is nothing they can do. If they try to fight, they will need to do it with a minimum of three races at the same time, something they could not afford.
Foxes have some special traits that make them receive some advantages in various things but it is difficult to access them. Despite that fact can help them survive, it is still extremely difficult to survive a fight where one is as outnumbered as they are. Fighting with that condition till death will only kill them all so they have to rely on hiding and surviving for the maximum time possible.
While foxes seem to be helplessly trying to postpone their unavoidable extinction, it is not the case. They were just waiting for the right time, and today was a very special day. It was the day of the prophecy, the day in which the destiny of the fox race will make a turn.
The archives, are the place where all the history of the world is stored and the place where you can find prophecies of the future, those prophecies never failed and always came true.
Since that place was discovered, all the races have been able to access it and prevent various catastrophic events that could endanger a lot of lives. It even predicted what could be said to be the end of the world as it is known if the different races didn't work together and realized the invocation ritual.
It is also the place where all races learned about magic!!!
The place is so special that some people have a connection with it and can access it without needing to be there in person, but very few people can do that.
But that matter is for another day, what is important today is that the prophecy that all the fox race has been waiting for to become real will begin, the prophecy only states that today will be the day the fox race will start its recovery.
Well, that's the information that the other races got from the prophecy, but in the case of the foxes...

My name is Loki, and I'm the leader of this fox tribe, we foxes are in a very tight spot, nowadays there are only three surviving groups, and none of the three has more than 200 foxes on them so we are under high pressure of knowing we could get extinct in any moment.
But we have hope, today is the day the foxes will be able to relax a little bit more. Today, is the day certain foxes will be born, as we know there are a total of 7 foxes that have been born today, well, will be born.
To be precise, there are only 6 newborn foxes but my son or daughter will be born in a little time. My wife is already in a cave hidden from all light to give birth and I'm going to see how it goes.
Walking at a relaxed pace I see two foxes in human form waiting in front of the opening of the cave, they are on vigilance duty to make sure nobody enters the cave except for the girls that are in charge of helping in a secure birth and waiting for any necessities my wife and newborn would need.
I approach and ask enthusiastically. "How is it going? Am I already a father?"
The two foxes look at themselves and start giggling discreetly.
"Yes, leader, you can already enter inside, your wife is waiting for you with your newborn daughter." Said fox guard number 1
"Exactly, just don't be as nervous in front of them, you might scare your daughter hehehehe" Said fox guardian number two laughing slyly at the end.
"Yes, yes, just make fun of me, you two... Just wait, when you have your own baby that it will be me who will be teasing you both" I answered
"NO!!! Look, Kevin, look what you have provoked" Said guard number 1 to Kevin, the other guard.
"Oh! come on Jake, it was you who planned to tease him like that when you saw him with that smile and walking nervously all day long. We are comrades in this!" Stated Kevin to Jake.
These two foxes were Kevin and Jake my two stupid childhood friends.
"Come on! you pair of sly and stupid foxes! Why are you giving away each other like that? Are you betraying one another? It doesn't mind who was the one who finished, the one who started that will also receive!" I said jokingly.
""Yes boss!""
"Really? Now you are gonna make the act? Like nothing has happened?"
"Well, we shouldn't make your reunion with your daughter wait isn't it?"
"Exactly, as Kevin said you shouldn't make your daughter wait." followed Jake
"Yes, yes, you two say that but whose fault is that he isn't inside with her daughter? And don't forget his wife! You fools. She is waiting too to see her husband you know?" Said a female fox that went outside the cave to search for me. "Lets go Loki, don't make your daughter and wife wait for you too much!"
"Going!" I answered and entered with enthusiasm, but what I haven't expected was to have all my happiness ripped apart.
When I was near enough and I saw the
spiritual connection with my daughter fading more and more every second, my heart stopped. I just couldn't bear it, was my daughter dying just after being born? Why? Why has it to be her?
As these questions were entering my mind I saw my wife's face, she was also distressed by what was happening.
I approached and transformed to be in my fox and true form and stayed with them trying to see what was wrong with my daughter.
I couldn't see anything wrong, she seemed fine, still breathing and without signs of any illness so why was the connection fading?
No, more than fading... It has already faded, I can't sense the connection anymore, it is like it has ceased existing. I can see my daughter being fine but the connection is nonexistent.
How can that be?
The spiritual connection isn't something that can be sealed, so it can't be that someone sealed it...
Wait, maybe...
I don't want it to be that... But it may be better than just dying.
Or would it be better to just die...
I don't know it, but if it is what I'm thinking it is, I will always help my daughter so she can live as normally as possible till she can unlock her spiritual connection or till she dies.
