Ace woke up in an old dusty storage room. He didn't know what he was doing in there until the realization hit him. The other kids probably put him in here. No one liked him, even the nicest kids don't even want to talk to him. He tried opening the door, it was locked as expected.
His life was like this ever since his mother died. His abusive father would make him do everything, his father was never the same ever since mother died. The other kids would always bully him and steer clear of him, but he was used to it. He didn't have friends but he got through school until now.
Why was he still here? his life is miserable and there really was no purpose of him living any more. At the corner at his eye he spots a thick piece of rope baking in the sun next to the dusty window. "Why not? It's not like anyone will care if I'm dead or not." He reached out and grabbed the rope. The rope felt warm in his hand.
He found a nail protruding out from one of the walls. Ace tied the rope around the nail and then around his neck. He was sobbing "Why me? Why does it always has to be? What did I do wrong...? " But his questions were left unanswered.
He shuffled towards the edge of the chair.
" One..., two..., thre-" Before he could finish he spot something outside the window. It looked like what he could only describe as a monster of pure terror. It would constantly change form from a giant black snake to a fleshy blob with human faces protruding from its body. He watched as a young girl about his age charging towards the monster "Wait, stop!" But she couldn't hear him. She pushed the monster in the face (faces?) with incredible speed and power knocking the monster far back.
Before Ace could even blink she was behind the monster and punched it again but this time it exploded into a gory mess. Without a moments notice his body moved without thinking and he jumped through the window and towards the girl. He can't end his life yet. He has to know who this girl is and what that monster was. He wanted to be just like her. That was his purpose.
