Fifteen years ago, a gate was opened in our world.

An exit to ours, an entrance to theirs.

What started it all was in fact a forbidden love; a demon was in love with its host. Instead of consuming her soul as a trade of satisfying her desire, he gave her his. He refused to follow the one and only rule of the bargain, escaped from his dimension and into ours. Becoming a human, and even starting a family. As an insult, that demon was the one and only demon king. The symbol of evil, dictator of hell, devour of worlds, a never-ending fountain of sins.

Orzar

His selfish actions come at a hefty cost, ripping through the fabric of reality, tearing open a gateway of hell that led right to us. Spirits, undead, demons, ghouls, flooded into our world. In all of a sudden, earth was a living pain. Modern weapons and warfare does no harm on these beasts, first America, then Mexico, crossing the ocean and into Europe, approaching Asia fast. They are like an auto plougher of life and soul; your worst nightmare. The occupations that seems like a joke to the modern society were now the globe's final line of defend against these being, the final string, holding the world from demolition.

Priests, exorcists, ghost hunters, arose, becoming humanity's final hope. The war ended as a draw, with the demon responsible for all of these madness sealing up the wormhole with his own hands, temporarily stopping both sides. But the tension still remains, although human manage to clear most of the outsiders in our world, some of it still remains. Hiding, plotting, scheming in the shadow, ready to open the portal of pain and suffering, once more.

Because of this, humans now were trained for it. Expertise of such were now consider noble. Hidden techniques that are once long lost in time were dug back to light. Many academies of such like SKY was built up for the younger generations, those with talent. Humanity were armed to the teeth, preparing, ready for the second invasion…

"Gah!" Fei almost fell asleep while standing upright. He lost his balance for a split moment and almost fell during the assembly. His sudden shout causes the others to snicker beneath their breath, what a clown. The principle who was delivering a speech at the stage glare at his direction. Fei look aside uneasily, trying to avoid eye contact. His head felt like a brick, his brain is a mush, his body felt like a slob of jelly, all of these because of it. Last night the exact same event occurs, the same torture and pain. One sleepless night was alright, but two and maybe more, he couldn't bear it, not anymore. Fei needed to find a way to bust that ghost out, and very luckily, today, I might had the right tool for it today…

"So, after this assembly, we will gather your data and information through some quick tests…" After finishing her stereotypical speeches and words, she raised her finger and snapped. With a mechanical whirr, a small door was raised up in front of each row, one for each class. "Is that a teleportation door?" Fei exclaimed in his heart. He had long heard for this machine, with it's technology harnessed from the exact same technique of that wormhole. It is still very excited to see such a huge leapt of mankind in the flesh.

"Step in, all of you." She ordered. "You will be welcomed by the test invigilator. After you've finished, please return through the exact same door and wait for the rest at the cafeteria. You all understand?" She asked, ensuring. Some of the students nodded, exaggerated, some seems quite nervous while some looks like they didn't even give a crap about all of these. "Alright, you all can step through it. The pain is unavoidable, you will get used to it." With that, the students started to march towards the portal, and so do Fei.

Fei's body felt a stinging sensation, as if his molecules were split up and transported. But that pain disappear moments later, what follows is a nauseous feeling. The world around whirls in front of his eyes like he was tied onto a raging windmill, so do his stomach. He covered his mouth, trying to force back his breakfast and to avoid more embarrassment, his status at this academy is quit ruined, he didn't wanted to wreck it even more.

After all those uneasiness drain away, Fei stood back on his feet and look around. He was in what seems like a pocket dimension, on top of a floating island, hovering above the void beneath him. "Hello." A girl appear out of nowhere. She wore a clean white outfit, with black skirt. Her golden hair fall down to her waist, his emerald green eyes sparkled, but with no hint of life. Looks like they are not transported to anywhere, this is just a system, a virtual world, and this girl is nothing but a mere Artificial intelligence.

"Morgan Felix." She take a look at the list in her hand before asking out. The boy stood out, confident as ever. "Take your position here." She pointed at the red circle beside her. Morgan approached, but walk past the mark and straight towards her. "You sure do are a beauty." He reached her hands out to touch her, but instead he was forcefully teleported to the spot with a quick glitch. "Wh-what?" Morgan tried to repeat his actions, but the end is always the same. "Pathetic." Fei guffaw in his heart. They are in a system, HER system, in fact, what did you think you can do to her?

"Alright then." After seeing Morgan giving up and finally stay put, she swipe the air in front of her. A hovering tab was formed right in front of her eyes. She pressed the virtual buttons on it, with a click, digital data started to rise and gather around, forming what seems like a typical blank spirits. She pressed another button, and a weapon menu appear in front of Morgan. "Choose your weapon, inform me once you are prepared. Try to survive as long as possible, you will not die in real life if you did here. Good luck." She stated out the rules of the test mechanically, exactly like a soulless bot, cool.

"My cool sword of course." Morgan smirked, swiping up the menu to the "personal" area where the weapons are located for those who had one. He scroll through a thousand of his collections before pressing on the icon of a gigantic blade. Digital data started to form around him, within seconds, a cool looking broadsword was conjured in front of him. He grab the handles and gave it a few good swing, trying to adapt to its weight. After more stretches, he finally nodded. "I am ready." "Alright then." With a press of a button, the test started.
