Fei walked down the corridor, trying to keep his head low and avoid any kind of eye contact. He take a look at the back of his student license in which his class code was listed. Class 1A, something a top student like him deserved and needed. He took the escalator to the second floor where the class was located. He found that people are constantly ignoring him, bumping into him without even saying anything, like he didn't even exist. This is something that he needed though, he didn't wanted any more attraction. He just wanted to complete his studies here, pass the final exam with flying colours and get a good job. That is just all he wanted.
"Hey!" The moment he entered the class room, someone dash out from behind the door and grabbed Fei from behind. There were three boy total. Two of them grab him by his arm, locking it and controlling his movements. "You are a good runner yesterday." The leading boy approached and sneered; Fei remembered him as the one who shoved him yesterday. He is a lot more taller and well fed than him, with brown hazel hair and a matching golden eyes. The upper two button of his uniform was unbuttoned, his belt was let loose, giving people a lacky feel. Why is this guy at an elite class? But one look at his nametag stand it all out. Morgan Felix, he is the grandson of the Felix cooperation, one of the largest company in Japan.
"You are lucky to be in this class, boy." He slapped Fei's face softly and tauntingly. "I am going to show you lots of "attention" …" "The teacher is here!" One of the student standing at the class door for lookout reported, cutting his sentence out. "Pfft" He rolled his eyes in disbelief of the timing. Luckily Fei was a bit late today, if not he really is dead meat. The three let him go and return to their seats, Fei stood up, quite shaken and walk to his'. Looks like nothing will change, good grief. The teacher walked into the classroom just after he take his seat. Fei recognized her as the teacher helping him with his license yesterday. He had a bad impression with her, now he could only hope she isn't that kind that would pick on him after knowing his backstory. Since he had no parents and his guardian barely cared about him.
"Okay, class, welcome to the new year of SKY Academy, I am Miss Ling." The teacher introduced herself, her eyes scanning through the students in front of her. Fei tried to hid his face behind the book in his hand but failed. The teacher noticed him as she smacked her lips in frustration. "This school is for those with the ability and might. Those with a future that we could bet on. So if you fell like you are not one of them and didn't fit, you can quit." She spoke sharply. Fei knew she is talking about him. "Without wasting much time…" Upon seeing Fei not reacting, she seems to lost her interest. "Let's start with a basic tour around the school…" She took out a foldable red flag that tour guide usually had in their hand. "Now follow me…" Waving the flag in her hand, she walk out of the class, the students stood up from their seat and followed.
"This is the library…" The teacher introduced simply, Fei stood at the end of the line, trying to stay back from the crowd. He isn't that kind of active guy, he is more like a punching bag, Standing out means more like to invite people to punch you in the face. As he followed aimlessly behind the crowd, he found Mey cleaning up at the basketball court just near them. Upon seeing the tour, Mey waved her hand and greeted, smiling politely. The students, even the teacher walked pass her, ignoring her completely, some even hold their nose in disgust, only Fei approached and greeted back.
"Good morning Aunt Mey." He greeted. "Oh, morning Fei!" Aunt Mey seems quite thrilled, the smile on her face blossomed even more. "Aunt Mey, I would like to ask you something." Fei asked cautiously. "What thing?" She asked, curious. "Just, did you enter my dorm last night?" "Last night?" Mei lifted an eyebrow in confusion. "I am just a janitor; I clean the corridor and take out the trash! I am not responsible for the dorms! Furthermore, I don't have the room card, how could I make it in?" "Yeah, you are right…" Fei nodded, slowly, an uneasy feeling trickled up his mind. Then WHO did all of these? "W-what happened?" Aunt Mey asked cautiously seeing Fei's pale expression. "So-something, "weird" happened, right?" She added.
"Wha- how did you know?" Fei asked back, shocked. "Now you wonder why room 666 is empty all the time." She waved her hand, telling him to come closer. "They say it is haunted." She whispered those words into his mouth, giving him goosebumps. Although spiritual beings do exist in this world, but having one living in your room is a different story. "People say weird things happened in there before. Especially at night." "Y-you mean, you felt cramped, unable to move and feels like someone is watching you?" Fei whispered back, cautiously. Somehow this conversation is spiralling out to another level.
"Y-you experienced it too?" her eyes widened; Fei nodded as a response. "Move out of it, let me tell you." She warned. "Saw those Taoist amulets and dolls, it is haunted! That is a matter of fact." "B-but the other dorms are full!" "Move out of the school dorm then! There are always a place to stay outside." She seems quite worried regarding this topic. "You are a good boy Fei, I afraid you will get hurt…" "FEI!!" Miss Ling's sonar scream causes the two to jerk off a bit. "MOVE!!" "A-alright!" Fei immediately rushed back to the group, who is waiting him impatiently at the back exit of the stadium. "S-sorry." Fei bow his head slightly and apologized to Miss Ling. She rolled her eyes, before pointing at the back of the line, telling him to get back to his position.
"Stinky~" The moment Fei returned, Morgan spoke beneath his breath, doing a gagging expression. His followers chuckled, supporting him. Fei shrugged, acting like he saw nothing. This causes them to laughed even harder, but one look of Morgan's pissed off expression is enough to tell them to shut the hell up. Morgan felt he was insulted by Fei, although he didn't mean it. He felt like he was a clown, not, an entire circus, performing in front of him. He gritted his teeth and glared at him, curling his hand into a tight fist.
