Hoodie(4)

Both of them spend a couple minutes on the floor and have a good time. Forty minutes later being on the 89th floor, Matt starts feeling hungry. He asks others if they want to go down to have something for lunch, and they all agree it's time for lunch. They leave the floor and take the elevator to go down to the lobby. Before they head down, Matt goes to the souvenir shop to buy two souvenirs for his mother and his girlfriend. As soon as the elevator arrives, Matt texts Dan to ask for his location. They will meet up with him and have lunch together. Soon, Dan answers his phone and texts Matt back that he will go to the building to find them, "He will be here in a bit." Matt tells other boys to wait for Dan.

The group goes back to the first floor and waits in the lobby for a couple minutes, then Dan shows up. They walk out of Taipei 101 together and disguise where they should go. Dan asks Josh if he has any recommendations for lunch. Josh shakes head. "I have no idea. I used to live in Taichung, not Taipei. I know nothing about this place."

"That sucks. Man, you're so useless." Dan laughs.

"Shut up." says Josh.

The group walks on the street and looks around trying to find a restaurant to help them stop being hungry. They are all starving and only want to find a place as soon as possible. Josh spots a noodle restaurant that doesn't have a long line and asks others if they want to go. They turn to check out the place then decide to go with that option. "I don't know. I have a bad feeling." Matt stares at the sign of the place and whispers before they go in.

During the time at the restaurant, Matt encounters his biggest nightmare. When everyone has their food on the table and starts to enjoy them, Dan looks at Matt and senses something has gone wrong. "What's the matter?" asks Dan.

Matt stares at his bowl of noodles after having the first bite, "I might have made a mistake." he says.

"What?"

"I'm fucked up!"

"What is it? What happened?" asks Dan; Matt's having him confused.

"Oh…You're so dead…" Josh takes a look at Matt's bowl and smirks.

Matt turns to Josh and sighs, "Why? I didn't see that coming."

"Guys, what are you talking about?" asks Dan.

Matt turns to Dan and shakes his head, "I'm done..."

The boys then start to explore the city after having a quick meal in the restaurant. They spend the whole afternoon walking around, buying some snacks and souvenirs, and experiencing Taipei. They're having a good time, on the other hand, Matt is not; he keeps talking about how spicy the bowl of noodles he had in the restaurant was along the way. It is the worst nightmare in his life and his mouth is still burning. Dan and Josh just smile and listen to him complaining.

At the end of the trip, "Ok let me see. Do I have everyone here?" Alex says. It's five in the evening already. Everyone is tired and wants to go back to the hotel to rest. Dan is also tired but feels happy because he bought the hoodie he likes. They arrive at their hotel at night, then soon everybody heads back to their rooms to rest.

After having a good sleep, the next day, on the airplane, Dan is sitting on his seat, watching a movie, and looking forward to spring training. During the trip in Taiwan, he has learned many skills from those coaches from the MLB system, physically and mentally, and he met his two best friends, Matt and Josh. The three hung out every day after practice, enjoying company from each other. "It's show time."
