LAIKA'S POV
I was saying goodbye to the lady I had been talking to who told me she and her family were now leaving. Ayan had just given her closing speech, thus officially ending the party. I'm happy to have finally talked to Ayan. I feel relieved as she seems to be living quite happily here at the palace.
Her relationship with the young prince is just so adorable. They seem to like each other a lot and get along very well. Like a mother and child. Things really turned out for the best for her I thought to myself as I smiled.
Now that the party was over I wondered if I would get to see her again after this, I was worried given the chance the General would freak out if he saw Ayan again ruining our chances of being invited to future events. However, he'd managed to behave himself causing little to no trouble at all.
I turned to look at him as he spoke to some of the noblemen. I wondered what he was saying to them.
