AYAN'S POV
With the General finally leaving today for the Imperial army headquarters, I once again would be briefly free from his advances. In the three days leading up to his departure after the harem had met up in the gazebo, I had been becoming acquainted with my new duties. I already knew the gist of how it worked from Ayan's memories.
The General was set to leave in the afternoon and the whole harem had come to the estate driveway to send him off. He wore his army uniform but not his armor. He started off his goodbyes with Laika.
"Again, I'm sorry I won't be able to meet your parents with you, Laika." General Kang apologized to her.
