The Fifth House: Galegold

Did you really think that Hogwarts only had four founders? No, my friend, you should not believe what the history books say, because reality always has its hidden cards and sometimes it decides to use them at the most unexpected moment. How shall we say… now? When the unknown heir to the fifth house receives the letter from the famous College of Witchcraft and Wizardry. After an absence of almost a millennium, it is time for everyone to know the truth, whether they like it or not. I do not own Harry Potter or any other universe that will appear except the MC.

Healthy competition, better than crazy

Soisen was working out in the Beauxbatons gym, having just finished his encounter with a nice old lady named Bea with whom he hit it off in unexpected circumstances. Because of the situation with his mothers' families, he never met his soon-to-be grandparents, so perhaps that was why he got along with her so easily.

He had a feeling that this was how having a grandmother must have felt.

He met her at the fountain that was rumored to enhance appearance, but after studying her, he found nothing to back up those rumors. Bored, he was testing for the third time whether Hofurin really existed and to his surprise, they turned out to be very real. He had to make a great effort to appear calm, as he didn't want to have to try again. Although his heart jumped to his throat when he was discovered, it seems he only saw the fairies and not how he examined the water.

That would have been very embarrassing.

Conversations with the old woman were interesting to say the least, as she seemed well versed in many events, knew details of historical characters that were unheard of, and possessed an enormous amount of knowledge.

I suspected that she might be one of the librarians, as despite her many visits to the library, she still did not know all the staff.

The first time he got green skin for failing, he hesitated whether to skip meeting her, but the thought of standing an old woman up and imagining her waiting alone while looking around with a sad look on her face made his conscience nudge him to go.

What's the worst that could happen?

At most, it would bring joy to an old person. It would be a good deed.

For his peace of mind, apart from showing an amused expression for the first few seconds when he saw her green skin, he acted for the rest of the encounter as if nothing had happened.

No doubt aware of the reason for her condition.

And that was exactly why, when she managed to finish her spell, she was the first person he showed it to, with nothing less than a few animated episodes of Tom and Jerry along with some episodes of Mr. Bean, which, by the way, he loved.

Later, he wrote to Professor Flitwick to give him the good news that he had managed to finish the spell and showed it to Chloe, who was amazed at the result. After all, although she had seen the theory behind the spell and assisted in its completion, Soisen did not stamp any of the key nodes and she was unable to use the spell.

Still, this didn't stop her from grabbing him by the wrist and dragging him (literally) to the headmistress's office, where she had to demonstrate the full spell again. It should be noted that Soisen was not comfortable talking to the half-giant headmistress, having someone looking down on him from above made him feel inexplicably annoyed.

This did not happen with Hagrid, perhaps because of their friendship.

Maxime offered to help him register that new spell, but he had to tactfully turn her down several times. This wasn't like the patents he had for his potions, this spell was something that like his future animagus form, would act somewhat like an ace in the hole under certain circumstances.

Imagine someone sees a fireball coming at them, their instinct would be to dodge or intercept. But what if that fireball is an illusion? It looks like one and sounds like one, but in reality it is not harmful in the least, like a hologram.

Later, that same person sees another fireball coming at him and now "knows" it's an illusion, so he doesn't defend himself and is seriously injured by a real one.

When again another day he sees a fireball, he won't know if it will hurt him or is a hoax.

In other words, make others doubt where the border of reality and illusion is.

Currently his true Illusion was in its 1.0 version, since he was only playing with vision and hearing. But he intended to keep improving, eventually affecting several more senses.

Feeling heat and cold.

The movement of the wind on the skin.

To give him a shadow.

Give him a body like a solid light construct, like a Patronus.

There were too many things he could still add to perfect the spell.

To keep Maxime from bringing it up again, he explained how he planned to use the spell on a large scale in a scoop for the entire school. After hearing his plan, the headmistress agreed, but demanded that she must preview the show to give her approval. Chloe did not hesitate to enter the discussion at that time and ask to be a witness as well, in order to "look for possible flaws in the spell" as she put it.

Soisen had no choice but to agree and the next morning, with her magical reserves full, she met with the headmistress and the Charms teacher in a closed classroom isolated from prying eyes and ears, where she used the spell for the second time with all her might.

The result? Madame Maxime and Chloe gave their full approval in tears, completely moved by the little show he showed them. Soisen didn't know where to put his hands or look when he saw the two women in front of him crying like little girls.

He thought the wood nymphs' reaction was because of what the creatures themselves were like.

Perhaps he did not choose properly? He simply projected a little snippet he really liked from a series, he didn't expect it to turn out so... tearful.

When he brought up whether he should think of something else, he got a death stare that caused him to shrug his head between his shoulders.

Damn it, how can they change their moods so quickly!

Just a moment ago they were acting like their husbands had died!

Wait, neither of them was a married woman?

In short, they made it clear that she had to wear the same thing she showed them, as they felt it would give a very positive message to all the students. In addition, Chloe made sure to make a note to put extra tissues on the tables for when the day came, ensuring that everyone could wipe away tears.

-Here you are, Soisen," she heard suddenly, causing her to almost drop the weights in her hands and drop them on her foot.

-By Merlin's socks! -Soisen complained, dropping the weights on the floor and turning around to see who startled him, "I've told you several times not to do that, Fleur. It's dangerous!

For better or worse, Miss Delacour seemed to reach some sort of consensus with herself and ended up establishing with Soisen a sort of competitive relationship, which was more pleasant compared to her previous crazy behavior.

Something similar to what happened to her with Hermione in the past, only Fleur was more insistent. It was not only about competing with grades in magic lessons, but also with creativity in dueling lessons, stamina in gym exercises, etc.

Who would have expected this witch to be so determined to excel?

Maybe that's why she was chosen by the Chalice at the time, she was determined to better herself.

Too bad for her, she picked a bad opponent. She didn't know how many times they had faced each other, she only knew that Fleur's scoreboard never scored any points in her favor.
