THE CONFESSION
"Why do you want to keep the enemy in the island when you know very well the consequences?" Jo ask the next day while in Peter's room working. She's his PA Officially and today is her first day. Peter look away from the computer and look up at her. "Let's go fishing this afternoon." "Huh?" Jo was surprised what he said. "Ok. What to prepare?" "Nothing." With that they continue their work.
"Aunty Su, I'm going off shore finishing with Jo, we are setting off after lunch, please prepare the necessity." Peter told her while we are having our lunch in the dining table. "Ok boss." Then Aunty Su walk away to do preparation.
"Off shore fishing? Do we have a boat?" Jo was curious. Peter just nod his head and continue eating.
After lunch, Jo went up to her room to change. Peter was waiting for her outside her room. When she came out, he hold her hand and both walk down to the pier. A luxury speed boat was already boothing there waiting for them. Jo stop her step and look at Peter. Peter just smile at her and push her towards the boat. They got onto the boat and wave goodbye to the boatman.
The boat's interior looks extravaganza. Everything you need for a house is all there. Bed, TV, radio, wardrobe, toilet, etc, etc. Jo was elated. "Boss, this boat is beautiful!" Peter enter into the room and stand behind her, put both hand on her shoulders and speak softly to her left ear. "Do you like it?" Jo nod her head and says "it's beautiful, it's beautiful." Peter says again "give you." Jo was in for a shock. "No way! You must be kidding me." "Happy Birthday to you. It's your Birthday present." Jo then realized that today is her birthday. "It's too expensive. I can't accept it." Jo lower her head, don't know what to do. Peter turn her around to face him. "Do you know what is the name of the boat?" Jo shake her head.
Peter took her to a table with sofa seat and show her. There lay a log book on the table. It is the boat registration log book. He turn to the owner's particular page and show her. {JOSEPHINE WEI} She just stare at the log book and speechless. A teardrop drop and Peter took the log away and hug her. "Happy Birthday to you." She sob and thank him the present. After awhile, she look up to Peter with her teary face, "thank you, this is the most expensive and most treasure present I ever received." She tip toe and kiss Peter on his lips.
As her lips were living Peter, his hand press her head towards him and he give her a hungry pressure kiss. Jo was holding her breath when he kiss him lightly on his lips, she open her mouth to breath and Peter took the opportunity to cover her mouth fully, and his tongue went in. It start with a light pact kiss but end up with a real kiss. Jo was making sound during the kiss and Peter deepen his kiss. After awhile, Jo push Peter away. Jo was panting and look up to Peter.
They stay staring at each other. Peter is the first to say something. "You do feel something for me. Don't deny it. And you know how I feel for you. The chemistry between us is undeniable." "I... I... you... you..." Jo is SHOCK, PANICK and AFRAID. Shock is how Peter knows, Panick is she being expose by him, and Afraid that the gate that is guarding her heart is melting away the final lock. Peter is piss off right now. "Jo...!" both his hand on her arm and shake her. "You can't deny anymore. I've see through your heart." Jo escape from his grip and replys panickly and loudly. " Yes... I love you...! Do you know how scare I am when... when I found I fall for you? I... I... cannot deny my heart? And I... don't dare to ask you to reciprocate my feelings. I..." before Jo can say more, Peter interrupted with 3 words. "I love you." Jo heard it and dumbfounded. She look at Peter "You... you..." Without letting Jo to finish what she wants to say, Peter pull her to him and hug her.
"Yes, I love you. I fall for you the moment I saw your picture. Do you want to know how you land with this job?" Jo nodded because she finds there is more than meets the eye now. "Professor Dean recommended highly of you. I was in his office one day and saw the photo, the one you stand beside him. I ask him who are you and he said you are his project PA. It's so coincidence that I looking for a PA for this project. He told me you have a very tight mouth and no one can bribe you. He told me to get Denise Song to employ you. Denise Song was recommended by him too. You have agreed to be my PA. And I was very happy. I can arrange someone to pick you up, in the end I decided to do it myself. The rest you already know."
"Peter loves me! He loves me!" Jo was joyously inside her heart. No, she's extremely euphoric. "How did you find out about my feeling?" Jo ask. "At the cafe. Do you remember I was laughing very loud? I was so happy." "So now what? I promoted to position 2? You said my role is to be your PA, Girlfriend and... and your wife." Jo was practically whisper when come to mention the role as his wife. Peter laugh and Jo give him a hand hammer near his heart.
"Um... it will be nice." Peter responded and laugh. "Indeed you have promoted to position 2. Right now we go fishing." Peter hold her hands and direct her to the super structure, start the boat and depart for offshore fishing.
