Pureblood Abilities 2 - Denying Fate - Postponed Wish - Arrival

Philip stared at Alucard's sorrowful red eyes. He was initially staring mainly because of Alucard's display of power and the power of the Pureblood

He was in awe and he was mesmerized by the amazing abilities that the Pureblood is showing. He could already tell what abilities were being manifested just by observing

His Extreme Self-awareness and Supreme Sense of Measurement has already activate. Pain Denial is already acting up because of the bloody rain which also activated Bipolar Body because his body became incredibly cold because of the blood puddles

His eyes also glazed because of his Future Vision. He was seeing all the possible futures that was about to happen if he left Alucard without doing anything. All the futures had a bad and tragic ending, except for two futures

Nonetheless, he tried to identify the displayed abilities the best that he can before he move and follow either two possible futures

The first thing that he saw was the red hexagonal pattern across his left hand and right arm. This is Blood Protection that activated to protect Alucard's body from Philip's attack. He knew that it was blood because it literally came from Alucard's cuts and wounds that he inflicted on him

The Blood Protection is the 49th Inheritor's ability

He was confused though as to why it only protected up to his neck and not his head

There were also Blood Armor on Alucard's legs, shoulder, and left breastplate. The Blood Armor did not fully form across his body due to the backlash of his right arm being torn apart. The Blood Armor primarily absorbed it and broke. Later on, his entire right arm was covered in Blood Armor resembling a bionic arm

The Blood Armor is the 87th Inheritor's ability

The dome that formed around Philip and Alucard and became transparent is a Blood Domain ability of the 96th Inheritor. Alucard's power is amplified in the domain and all Pureblood abilities are enhanced

The gaseous blood and the forming blood in the Blood Domain is the ability called Blood Field ability of the 97th Inheritor. In order for Blood Field to show its full potential by using the innate blood quantity inside the field, Blood Manipulation ability of the 10th Inheritor is needed

The Blood Runes ability of the 53rd Inheritor that surrounded Alucard also amplifies his power and the Pureblood itself

The arm that regenerated was also the effect of three abilities. One is Hyper Blood Reproduction ability of the 2nd Inheritor that rapidly reproduces blood to cope up with blood loss. If blood is rapidly reproducing, the source needs to provide the necessary amount of blood for reproduction and this is where Unlimited Blood Generation ability of the 7th Inheritor comes into play. But the third ability is on a whole new other level

Alucard's eyes that changed the retinas into red and the pupuls into yellow is the Bloodlust ability of the 89th Inheritor and this will cause Alucard to lose a little bit of his sanity, if not for the red horn on his forehead

The red tentacles that grew from the large red puddle beneath Alucard is the cause of two abilities. Blood Manipulation ability and Bloodshifting ability of the 58th Inheritor

The red tentacles that attacked the sharp winds and air is caused by the Lacerating Blood ability of the 32nd Inheritor that can cut almost any objects with blood, whether the blood splashes, dropped, or flowed down to

Finally, the last ability that Philip can identify is the Blood Storm ability of the 24th Inheritor. The Blood Storm cause the bloody rain in the surroundings with the absence of clouds. The Blood Storm weakens the victims im every aspect but fertilizes the earth

Even though Philip can identify certain abilities according to logic and his intelligence, he did not identify to which Inheritor has which ability. Also, he couldn't identify the other abilities at all because his Extreme Self-awareness tells him that he wouldn't be able to identify it and it is supported by his Future Vision

From this point onwards, the Pureblood abilities were ridiculously made by the Inheritor themselves. This is also the reason why Philip could not identify some abilities

One of the three abilities that was displayed when Alucard regenerated his arm is called [Blood That Flows Will Terminally Speed Up] ability of the 39th Inheritor. It causes blood to violently flow in any shape and form as long as it is flowing. That is why blood violently wriggled and lashed out before expanding then contracting and regrowed the arm. This is the same for the red tentacles and Lacerating Blood

The red horn on his forehead is an ability of the 54th Inheritor called [The One And Only Blood Horn]. The horn is the manifestation of the true demon nature of the Vampire blood. It all formed as a horn that protects the very essence of the Pureblood, including the Vampire's mind and soul

The blood wings that grew on Alucard's back is called [The Blood Wings Shall Be The Peak] ability of the 61st Inheritor. The blood wings boasts the most powerful type of wings that are known. Possessing this blood wing will place the Pureblood Inheritor to the peak of everything

The blood wings also has a mind of its own. The priority of the blood wings is to place its possessor above their enemies. The other priority is to protect the Pureblood Inheritor at all costs. The blood wings has sub-abilities like Bloody Gale and Blood Boost to name a few

The sky that turned red outside of Mathilda's dome is also a Pureblood ability of the 34th Inheritor called [Blood Covers The Sky]. The blood sky is the dawn and arrival of the Vampire Pureblood that will descend in the land. It is the sign of a calamity that will come

Although the previous Inheritors never used this ability, except for Alucard, because they were avoiding the Spirit of the World from noticing them and inciting her hatred

There was definitely something wrong for Alucard to use this ability

The Blood Storm comes with another ability that causes Philip's Pain Denial and Bipolar Body to act up. It is the [When There Is Rain, Blood Will Spill] ability of the 90th Inheritor. The name of the ability say everything on itself

If there is an ordinary rain in the presence of the Pureblood Inheritor and the ability is activated, the victims will bleed without them knowing and die. With the addition of Blood Storm, the victim will die in seconds

The double crown that was hovering above Alucard head is another ability of the 16th Inheritor called [A Bloody Crown Is Suitable For The Owner]. Originally, the crown only had fifteen protruding points around it and a single crystal that is hovering above the first crown. But since Alucard is the 100th Pureblood Inheritor, the lower crown had 70 protruding points and the upper crown had 40 protruding points. The single crystal turned into the upper crown

The lower crown had 13 red glowing points and the upper crown had 8 red glowing points. This indicates the abilities that are being used and active

When Alucard tried resisting and denying his abilities from activating, a bloody explosion was released from his body and cracks that resembled a molten crack formed on his chest. This is the ability that took the life of a few Inheritors in the past which made them live for a short time. The [Denying The Blood Will Lead To Death] ability of the 27th Inheritor

The ability will guaranteed kill the Inheritor if the Inheritor ever denied the blood once. The Pureblood will then automatically pass on to the next descendant Inheritor. Since Alucard tried resisting, he already denied the blood, which in turn guarantees his death

This is why Alucard begged Philip to kill him now using his Fate Control. If he died from the ability, his dream and goal after all these years, will flush down the drain. The next Inheritor will suffer from the fate of the Pureblood

Everyone's soul and mind shook after Alucard spoke. It is the [Blood Always Amplifies The Voice That Trembles The Soul] ability of the 85th Inheritor. The ability is amplified by the Blood Domain, the crown, and the horn which caused the fully transformed Mathilda to shake and for Philip to feel a tingle in his brain

Bloody cracks continued forming across Alucard's chest and body. His body will shatter and explode in no time

At this point, Philip's body also showed change. White streaks of lines covered the entirety of his body. It followed the points of his pores and hail follicles, as well as the veins. The lines first appeared on his feet and crawled up to his legs and into his torso, from his torso to his chest and finally to his arms and hands. The lines ended just befofe his jaw

The lines then glowed brighter enough for Philip to notice. He was definitely surprised by the sudden change since he can't remember any imaginary abilities that resembles these white lines. It was the same where his right arm was filled with white light and the light shattered like glass

Philip faced Alucard and he already saw Alucard approaching him

"Master! Please!!" Alucard's blood wings flapped and the blood puddle screamed and shot out tentacles towards Philip's direction. The Blood Storm also intensified and poured down heavily

He pulled his armored right arm back and a coagulation of blood formed around his hand. The blood wriggled violently and expanded then contracted. The blood formed a very sharp sword with multiple edges and sharp points

This is the Blood Weaponsmithing ability of the 81st Inheritor. The ability to turn blood into any kinds and types of weapons known to mankind

Alucard was about to strike Philip with the blood sword and the red tentacles

At this moment, time briefly stopped and Philip entered the plane of Future Vision

He didn't see any lines that lead to possible futures. He only saw eleven circles that is laid down horizontally across him. The color of the circles were gray in color while three of them are white. While one is slowly turning gold

This was the first time Philip saw this layout. Throughout his entire life, he could only see lines everywhere he turn. The circles were a new layout and he didn't know what these means

But one thing was for sure, one circle turned golden, the same way an absolute timeline was set and the line became gold after Philip told Chihaya about Fate Control and Future Vision in the Mystical Academy

Which means, the gold circle is Alucard and he definitely needs to save him to get answers from these circles since he couldn't figure out what these entails at the moment

The plane of Future Vision slowly faded away and Philip slowly came back to reality

As Camille saw Alucard flyinf towards Philip. She tried to run as fast as she can to save Philip, or at least buy enough time to stall Alucard and for the Old Man to arrive, but she abruptly stopped halfway because of an incredibly overbearing pressure

Jude, who is further back at the front door of the mansion, let go of his sword and held his arms and shivered from the sight of Philip pulling his wooden sword horizontally againts is body in a form of thrusting position. The large curved longsword kept clanging on the ground

Philip thrusted the wooden sword towards the incoming Alucard and the wind around him compressed and blasted through Alucard

The blast was overpowering and the pressure knocked out the red tentacles, Alucard's Blood Armor and Blood Protection, swept the blood wings away, moved the Blood Runes away, and blasted the blood rain from the Blood Storm away. The red pool and puddles in front of Philip was separated from the thrust that pushed Alucard several meters back

Philip did a Sword Roar, a prerequisite on becoming a specific stage in Sword Mastery. Jude did not comprehend this and shivered from Philip's existence. It denied all incoming attacks with an overpowering pressure in one direction

Jude was overall dumbfounded at how Philip knows the secret and potential of the sword

Alucard instantly stood back up and his demeanor changed. He screamed and the blood in his eyes splattered across his face. He opened his mouth wide and large fangs grew from his upper teeth

Blood from the air formed behind him and grew into a violently wriggling mass of blood. The blood pool beneath Alucard also screamed and violently wriggled. The pool rose from the ground and converged toward the blood mass behind Alucard

There are currently six Pureblood abilities that are in work here. The lower crown had 18 red glowing points from 13, and the upper crown had 9 red glowing points from 8

There was the ability of the 78th Inheritor called [A Bloody Mess Will Only Empower], which empowered Alucard and the Pureblood because of the presence of blood almost everywhere

There are also the combination of Blood Horror, Blood Rush, Bloodbath, and Blood Rage from the abilities of 18th, 20th, 24th, and 31st Inheritors respectively

The other ability is Last Blood from the 29th Inheritor's ability. The ability that activates when [Denying The Blood Will Lead To Death] is activated. The Inheritor will use all of their remaining life energy and power to elimate their enemy before dying. It is the matter of being the peak of everything as the Vampire Pureblood

"Master!" Alucard screamed while gurgling sounds came out of his mouth. His appearance is very different from what it used to when he was the most beautiful man on Earth

"Didn't I tell you to stop calling me master?" Philip asked Alucard in a confident manner. Alucard was surprised from Philip's calm demeanor

He forced himself to kneel and he subconsciously placed his bloody hands on his bleeding eyes. He screamed once again as wounds opened across his body and started to bleed. Small pulses of blood bursts were also happening while the bloody cracks on his chest grew larger across his shoulder and waist

"For that, I will give you a punishment..." Philip said while turning his body straight at Alucard. Alucard was surprised by Philip's words. He removed his hands on his eyes and looked at Philip with bloodshot but sorrowful eyes. His glowing pupils were flickering as the Blood Eyes of Truth were trying to read Philip but it failed this time

He was scared that Philip would never grant his wish as punishment and let him die for the next Inheritor to inherit Pureblood

At this moment, Alucard saw Philip lifting his left arm and placed his left hand in front of his face to the left

"I won't let you die just yet..." Philip voiced words of affirmation. Alucard's eyes widened from a ray of hope beaming on his eyes

"You still have something to do, don't you? Plus you'll be useful to me..." Philip gestured his left hand in a snapping position. Alucard's eyes bursted bloody tears and his eyebrows became furrowed after he heard Philip's word. He tried to smile at least slightly, but it turned out weird as his mouth quivered

"Don't worry, I'll grant your wish when the time comes in the near future"

Philip snapped his left fingers and an audible sound reverberated throughout the frontyard of the mansion. Camille, Mathilda, Jude, and especially Alucard hear the snapping sound

Powerful energy bursted through the entire area, even Philip was surprised. Wind push the plants and the stagnant air

Camille subconsciously lifted her arms to shield herself and he was sent back by a few meters. It was the same for Jude but his back was against a wall

The blue shield dome that Mathilda created was blasted away as she was also swept by the powerful energy. She could only follow the flow and fly into the sky

On the other hand, Alucard was not swept away but he was still in place while kneeling. His Blood Armor, Blood Protection, and Bloor Runes disappeared, as well as the horn, the crown, and the bloody wings. The Blood Domain and Blood Field also dissipated

The red pools and puddles disappeared along with the wriggling tentacles. Blood Storm also disappeared along with the bloody rain

The violently wriggling mass of blood behind Alucard also disappeared and his eyes returned back to normal. The grown fangs shrunk down to the unnoticeable degree

All of the activated Pureblood abilities disappeared from being used and Alucard was back to normal. Even the red sky became normal. Talks in the news mentioned the red sky but scientists said that it was just the refraction of light from the Sun

The large cracks across Alucard's body slowly disappeared, as if it's in reverse. The fate of the Pureblood has been denied and Alucard's life and been extended thanks to Philip

[Denying The Blood Will Lead To Death] has been deactivated and it will ignore Alucard's denial of the blood earlier

Alucard's fate has been postponed for the time being and he was saved from his fate. Although the Pureblood is still within him, he will still eventually die and the Pureblood will go to the next Inheritor. Alucard needed to be careful

If Philip can make Alucard avoid his fate just by being next to him, then he would follow Philip everywhere so his wish would be half-granted since he will be kept alive which means their will be no Inheritors. Although he will be sad since he will keep suffering from the Pureblood

Philip walked closer to the kneeling Alucard. He reach his left hand and placed it on Alucard's right shoulder

"Don't worry, I'll keep you safe. By then, fulfill your dreams and I'll save you from the Pureblood fate and finally kill you"

Alucard closed his eyes in relief and smiled in happiness. His body swayed and fell forwards. The blood on his wounds dripped down the ground. The wound then healed and the blood seeped on the ground

The bald ground was then healed. The cracks disappeared and grass began growing from the bald spots. Small flowers bloomed on the ground around Alucard

The wind became clean and and the soothing breeze flowed around the front yard

This is the effect the [The Only Blood That Can Cure And Heal] ability of the 73rd Inheritor. The Pureblood Inheritor's blood will cure any ailments and heal any injuries

As Philip touched Alucard, he could feel his left arm become extremely numb. It was the same feeling he felt after touching Alucard's shoulder last night

He looked down on his arm and lifted it. He clenched it like how he did it before. The white lines across his arm moved amd converged together. The arm was covered in white light and shattered like glass

The extreme numbness that he was feeling disappeared

The Blood Rend ability was activated. Philip's Fate Control only disable the activated Pureblood abilities. It doesn't mean that the passive and active abilities couldn't be used later. It was just deactivated initially

At this moment, the white lines across his body crawled backwards from where it came from

Mathilda slowly hovered down beside Alucard and in front Philip. The Oblivion Wing folded together and shrunk down towards her back and disappeared. She glared at Philip with confused and wary eyes

"Who really are you?" Mathilda asked. The shaking in her voice was obvious. Metal pieces and casings detached and closed across his body and her light brown skin returned to normal. Metallic parts are still exposed in his important body parts like her limbs, neck, legs and ankles, hands, and most of her chest

Philip looked back at Mathilda and raised an eyebrow. The answer was obvious and he decided to say it. "I'm the owner of the mansion now..."

"Huh? Then you can do anything what you want now?" Mathilda said in an obnoxious voice

"Huh?!" Philip's face crumpled from Mathilda's statement. Was Mathilda picking a fight with Philip? Or she is being unreasonable?

"Don't feign ignorance! What did you do to Jude and Alucard?!" Mathilda was being more irrational as she did not even think if it was a misunderstanding and she didn't even know the full story

Philip became annoyed. He hated unreasonable people the most and Mathilda is becoming one of them. The soothing breeze slowly became rough and dropped

Camille and Jude felt the change in the atmosphere and intercepted Mathilda

"Mathilda!" Jude shouted and called out for Mathilda from the front door. Camille only walked forward to glare straight at Mathilda's eyes. Camille's eyes were emitting a faint red aura, like a flame

Mathilda looked towards Jude with her eyes furrowed. She saw Jude trying to stand up and using his sword as a support

"Sir Philip did not do anything! I willingly tested him in the sword and he saved Alucard!" Jude tried to defend Philip because if Mathilda started a fight, she will become unstoppable and since Alucard is knocked out and Jude is injured, there was no one else that can stop her. He was also having second thoughts if Philip could even stop her

Mathilda furrowed her eyebrows deeper and he turned back to Philip, ignoring Camille's glare. Philip bravely glared back at her as he said to himself that he will never back down

'What is her problem?! Does she have a personal problem that is rooted in her? Does she hate men or something?'

These are the thoughts that were flowing in Philip's mind

A few moments later, the glaring contest and the awkward silence was broken after there was a loud shrieking and sheering sound coming from the sky

Except for the bright morning Sun in the sky that in an angle indicating it was 8 in the morning, a bright object was seen approaching the mansion from the south

The object was covered in yellow light, like a meteor crashing to the ground

Mathilda and Camille saw the bright yellow object. Their eyes widened not because of surprise or horror, but because of excitement and disbelief

Camille took several steps back and Mathilda carried Alucard and immediately placed him next to Jude on the wall. Alucard's sleep was slightly disturbed by the poor handling of Mathilda and he slowly opened his eyes, but not fully. Tears formed at the corner of his eyes

Jude snickered and smile after he also saw the bright yellow object coming into the mansion. He slightly lowered his head and clsoed his eyes

"Welcome back." He muttered under his voice

Philip looked above him and saw the same bright yellow object. His eyebrows furrowed in annoyance because of the noisy and exaggerated approach of whoever or whatever this is

He took a few steps back as he measure the trajectory of the projectile. It will land just a few meters in front of him

He was having second thoughts whether he should swing his sword at the incoming object or no. He was very bored and want some action

In the end, he waited patiently for whatever is to come

After a while, the bright yellow object crashed in the front yard and exploded. Dust and smoke scattered around the area. The smoke dissipated and revealed a large crater with a silhouette of a human in the center

The size of the crater was big enough that Philip was calmly standing at the edge of it. He was about to fall but his body could shift his center of gravity to his back without him moving. There is no way he would fall, unless the corner of the ground that he was standing on coincidentally broke off

The explosion was loud for the entire mansion to hear it. A few seconds later, the residents of the mansion went out of the fron door one by one with excitement in their eyes. Natsuki and Natsume went out first, followed by Bea, then Mei'er. Vanessa is still knocked out inside her room. Kyouko stayed inside her room and locked her door

The smoke disappeared completely and revealed a woman. The woman seemed in her 30's but her looks and appearance showed that she is in her early 20's

The woman had long blonde hair and cross bangs. Her eyes are amber ochre in color and she had a very positive expression in her face. Her skin is white and her chest size is decent. She gives the impression of an idol and a person that is easy to get along with

She wears a white blouse with a red necktie and green checkered skirt. She wears black fingerless leather gloves with yellow linings on it and a black leather boots that reached below her knees

She is also carrying a white backpack behind her back with three thin quivers on her right shoulder that can hold a long wooden rod, a ruler, an arrow, or a blade

She placed her right hand on her forehead and flicked it forwards as she saw everyone and a stranger in front of her

"Heyo! I'm back!"
