Braudain asked

"Yes, that polearm... The Shattered Polearm, is it?"

Philip confirmed

"This..."

Braudain stuttered and had second thoughts whether to reveal his secret to Philip

"Come on! I already know that it's a secret of yours! Tell me... Where did you find it?!"

"Uh..."

Braudain was pressured and he decided to tell Philip

"During my expeditions, I found a ruined temple at the bottom of the sea, guarded by hundreds of demons. There were a lot of casualties, but in the end, I managed to enter the ruins"

"How were you able to breathe underwater?"

"Our master craftsman invented a device that we put in our mouths. Those device generate air straight from water. It is powered by magic and can only be used for at least one day"

"I see... Okay, continue"

Philip received an idea that he can innovate here on Earthenmana. It will help a lot of people and exploration underwater. He then thought of building a manufacturing company under his name or an alias, then the brand name of his products will be something that will be remembered throughout history and will be used by many

"While exploring the ruins, I found nothing... Until I noticed that one of the pillars were different from the others"

"Was the ruins made of jade?"

"Jade?"

"A stone that is almost like a gem but it's a rock with a vibrant color of green"

"Ah! Yes, if that's what it's called, then yes... The ruins were all vibrant green, covered by seaweeds and barnacles"

Philip was silent, his non-existent heart began to thump as he became excited

"When I came closer to the pillar, I touched it and it shrunk down to the size of the polearm. I don't know what it was but whatever I tell it to do, it does it, like elongate, expand, shrink, bend, and many more that a normal polearm cannot do"

Philip became more excited after hearing the functionality of the polearm

"I brought it back in the kingdom and have our magic researchers inspect it... But they couldn't find anything about it because it has no trace magic. It also seems nigh-indestructible. Ultimately, no one can even lift it up, even if it was shrunk down to the size of a needle. Only I can carry it"

Philip was shocked. He wouldn't have known that there are several Ruyi Jingu Bangs in the universe and every world has one, which means there are easily more than trillions of those bones

「 These bones are also pillars of the Nirvana Jade Palace 」

'Wait! You mean...'

「 Yes, if you collect all bones as pillars, you can create or summon the Nirvana Jade Palace 」

'What's Nirvana Jade Palace?'

「 I cannot tell you 」

'Okay... Then, if Braudain is more important than he seemed... I have to awaken the dormant power of Saykeraborne inside him, do I?'

「 If you want power and more powerful protecters, then sure 」

'Alright...'

Philip then extended his right hand at Braudain and he immediately flew towards Philip

"Whoa!!"

Braudain abruptly stopped in front of Philip and Philip extended his two right fingers towards Braudain's forehead

"Braudain, I will awaken your dormant power"

Braudain was dumbfounded. He doesn't know how to react but he could only feel gratitude and fear. He didn't stop Philip because he wanted to repent and he has steeled himself to face any adversaries that will come his way. At this point, Braudain didn't care, all he cares is to become powerful and help protect the ones he love

"Awaken!"

「 Origin Seeker 」

Philip tapped Braudain's forehead and his vision entered the kaleidoscopic hyperspace. His goal is to unlock the dormant power of Saykeraborne in him and his destination should be the moment when Braudain was born or came to the world

As the kaleidoscopic hyperspace became faster, Philip got out of the transport and he has gone into the past. He expected to arrive in the place where Braudain described on where he was born, but Philip couldn't see anything

It was dark, damp, and windy. There were no signs of light, the horizon, the sky, nor any structures around him. Philip was stunned because he absolutely don't know his whereabouts

"Emily?"

「 ... 」

Philip called out to Emily, but there was no reply. He then closed his eyes and concentrated. He used ⟨⟨ Extreme Self-awareness ⟩⟩ to scan his surroundings. He felt the ground under him and his sense continued to grow around him. He then used ⟨⟨ Supreme Sense of Calculation ⟩⟩ to measure the distance of every minute change in the terrain, as well as if there was an elevation due to the wind velocity and currents. He calculated to flow of wind to identify if there are some strange objects around him

Just then, as if time stopped, his calculation and sense detected a strange object or entity behind him. The object seemed to be humanoid with four limbs, a head, and a torso. What seemed like its arms seem to be lunging at Philip due to how it's wide open with sharp claws sticking out to what seemed its hands

The head seemed to have its mouth opened with incredibly sharp teeth and it seemed to have two pairs of curved horns that goes around its head. It also seemwd to have a long rough hair spiking as wind travels through it

Philip was able to identify these due to the flow of wind and changes to the movements of waves, radiation, and atoms behind him

But that's the least to his worries as he clearly felt an intense killing intent coming from it after he detected it. His hairs stood up and his eyes glowed

Chills filled his body but he managed to dodge to the right, letting the entity pass him from the right. But ultimately, Philip's cheek had an open wound as he was grazed by the entity

He then jumped backwards while maintaining his sensing and detecting abilities. He activated his ⟨⟨ Night Vision ⟩⟩ ability, but it doesn't seem to work as he still couldn't see anything. He then resorted to one of his abilities that can produce light

First, the Regenerative Ivory reacted and white roots crawled out of his body and made him glow with white color. It also healed the graze on his cheek

Philip then raised his right hand and aimed it at the sky. The Pureblood reacted and his veins bulged on his right arm

"Blood Flame!"

*Fwoom*

A dark red flame with white illuminations bursted from Philip palm and blazed in the air, illuminating his surroundings in sunister red with flashes of white light. The Blood Flame served as a lantern in the dark

He then saw the entity lunging at him again but it abruptlt stopped after sensing the light and heat coming from the Blood Flame

"KAAAAASSSHHHCCCKK!!!"

The entity thrashed around the ground until it stood upright on its four limbs. It jumped backwards until it's outside the range of the light

"Huh?"

Philip exclaimed in confusion after seeing the entity

"What... Is... This???"

The more Philip looked at the entity, the more he could feel chills and goosebumps crawl around his body. The uncanny feeling and the fear of uncertainty clouded Philip's mind

『 Alert! Emily is nowhere to be found... System temporarily overtaking her role... 』

A display appeared in Philip's vision. It was like the system reverted back to its previous version and it overtook Emily's place. The system said it, Emily is nowhere to be found, which means something is very wrong when Philip went in this place

"Sai?"

Philip called out to the entity. The entity looked like the devolved version of Sai, a monstrosity, an abnormality, Philip couldn't look at her longer, he couldn't bear to imagine what this version of Sai went through

This made Philip realize, this Sai was the Sai in the past. He didn't know what happened to her to become like this, bur he's willing to change it for her

But that's where Philip was wrong

『 A scenario close to being an exception has occured... The system won't be reacting and performing necessary actions 』

『 Rather than an exception, a special conditional event has occured! Origin Seeker has been tampered with! 』

『 You are not in the past 』

『 You are in the future 』

『 Scanning for location... 』

"!!!"

Philip was stunned. He didn't expect to go to the future, considering he used Origin Seeker on Braudain. He knew that using Origin Seeker will send him in the past, but turns out he's in the future. Like the system said, this particular seeking of an origin was an exception, but not an exception that requires the system's intervention

This also filled Philip with fear, worry, and anxiety knowing that this is the future

What happened for Sai to become like this? Did he fail to protect her? Were the Agents of Chaos successful on eliminating him? Were the Ancient Ones successful on destroying the universe? What happened to his Fate Control and the Omega System?

Those were the questions thay clouded Philip's mind as he stared at the devolved Sai with wide eyes

『 Scan complete! 』

『 You are currently in the Plane of Genocism 』

『 A specific condition requirement has been unlocked! 』

'Plane of Genocism?! Is this a Plane of Existence? Whose Plane of Existence is this?!!'

Philip concluded that the reason Sai devolved like this was because a divine being pulled her to their Plane of Existence, to which they tortured her in this plane

But he was wrong once more

A loud whoosh in the wind was heard and a giant claw slammed on devolved Sai, crushing her on to the ground

"Eh?"

Philip thought that Sai was just killed in front of him, but it seems like Sai is still well as her expsoed left arm wriggled and tried to tear the claw off of her

It was then that Philip followed where the claw is originating. He slowly turned his head upwards until he saw a towering existence looming over him. The object to which seemed its head lowered down towards him until it was illuminated by the Blood Flame

He could only see a large fang, ten times his size, and nothing else. But one thing's for sure, he knew who or what he's looking at

"Blood Moon"

Even though the Plane of Genocism is dark and separate world from everything else, Philip was able to manifest the Blood Moon all over the plane, illuminating the plane with sinister red color

By then, he could see the plane in its full glory. He could see the horizon and the sky, bit his eyes widened when he saw the sky

He could see mountains or spires that seemed to be abnormally stretched into oblivion, giving the feeling of isolation and belittlement. It looked like he was in a dystopian wasteland. The Blood Moon also seemed to be in front of the tips of the mountains or spires

He then saw the towering existence in front of him. Its body was large and its scales are bright violet. The color of its scales didn't lose any color, even though it's supposed to be tinged in red due to the blood moon

It has a wide and long tail with two pairs of spieks protruding at the end. It has two pairs of majestic violet wings that spans triple its size. It has hundred of thorns or spikes lining across its spine, neck, and into its head. It has bright violet eyes, four pairs of curved horns that goes around its head and points to the back. It also has four pairs of fluttering whiskers, four pairs of fangs, and a pair of tusks

The towering existence is a dragon, violet in color. It's big but slim at the same time that it gives off the feeling that it's fast, wise, and a feminine dragon, but in reality, it's a male

[Kkkrrrrrr]

The drahon purred as it inspected Philip

[Who are you? Where did you come from? This Plane of Existence doesn't have anything and nothing can enter this plane! How did you manage to enter?! Depending on your answer, I will either destroy you or let you live]

The dragon talked very slowly

"I am the Fate Controller, a time traveller, the Sword Concept and Spear Concept, the God of Darkness, you name it"

[The God of Darkness, you said? The God of Darkness died a long time ago and there were no new God of Darkness that was born... Are you the new generation of the God of Darkness?]

"Yes I am, and as I said... I'm a time traveller. I came from the past and used an ability called Origin Seeker to change the fate of a certain someone. I don't control where I would end up, but for some reason, I ended up here"

Philip chose to be honest with the dragon. As per Philip's knowledge, certain dragons could be as strong or stronger than divine beings as they are all high and mighty. He couldn't afford if this dragon could see through his lies and he would need to fight the dragon for survival

[Hmmm... You're playing with a dangerous concept and you continue to tinker with it... You're a dangerous existence that needs to be destroyed!!!]

The dragon screamed

[But since you're the Fate Controller, fate must have a reason why you ended up here in this dystopian world. State your business]

"I came here to meet you!"

[Oh? In what world would you ever know of me? The universe has been destroyed and this is one of the few remaining worlds that are remaining... How were you able to know of me?]

A revelation for Philip

The dragon didn't seem to react negatively towards Philip as he didn't sense any lies coming from him

"One of the Divine Draconic Echelon..."
