Core Academy - Plum Blossom - Mana Tree - Jade Palace - Institutions and Sects

"If you chose to enter the Core Academy, you must have what it takes to learn and discover everything, and I mean everything!"

Everyone simultaneously swallowed their dry saliva because they felt there was some weight on Yozu's voice

"The Core Academy... It's this castle looking structure in the middle of the whole Mystical Academy. Above it is the source of power of the entire Mystical Academy. It is a collection of Spirit Stones altogether and gave a purpose, it is to provide necessary energy for the mana shield that surrounds the academy in a form of a dome. This reaches into the ground, in a form of a sphere. So, if you want to bring the barrier down, you must destroy this giant Spirit Stone first!"

That was a lie. Philip caught it

Firstly, the giant Spirit Stone above the Core Academy is not the source of energy of the entire academy. Philip knows that it comes from the Divine Star that's held by a giant tree, under the Mystical Academy. Secondly, it's true that the barrier comes from the giant Spirit Stone, but it won't disappear if it's destroyed at all. The source of the energy for the barrier is somewhere else, not from the giant Spirit Stone nor the Divine Star, Philip couldn't see it yet and he didn't saw it before, even when he was in the Mystical Academy

Everyone else was then confused as to why Yozo would just reveal their weakness like that. It will just take a spy to infiltrate inside and destroy the giant Spirit Stone from the inside

Little did they know, that won't be easy, especially with Yozu's power, the Guardians, and the giant pink tree sitting next to the Core Academy

'Hm?'

Philip found the tree strange. It was then that the Omega System reacted

『 A World Tree has been discovered! (1/12) 』

『 Oriental Plum Blossom 』

The display that appeared across Philip's vision was pink and brown branches grew from the box. Petals also fluttered in the air and disappeared after a while

'Huh???'

『 You have found 1 of the 12 World Trees of Earth. You are now qualified to rule the land that the Oriental Plum Blossom is connected. Divinity has been slightly increased 』

Philip was surprised and confused at the sudden messages of the system. He's still not used to the system and it felt surreal and unreal at the same time. He still hasn't inspected the system closer because a series of events happened the moment he woke up. Once everything is over, he'll take his time to inspect the system deeper and visit the Fate Timeline since he last saw it crumbling when the catastrophe started

Nevertheless, the system seemed to know a lot of things that it seemed to be either omniscient or it already has these information from the get go. But that's impossible in Philip's belief

He then suddenly felt like he was in some sort of simulation and the system was bestowed upon him by a game master or puppet master, then using him for an ultimate goal or purpose

'Nah, it couldn't be... But seriously... Why did I get a system with no explanation at all??'

Philip then shook his head sideways and focused on the broascast

"Next to the Core Academy are these peculiar trees. One is this giant Plum Blossom, which is only ordinary, and the second one... I think this is the first time everyone in the world will be seeing one"

Everyone was then excited to hear what Yozu has in store

"A magical plant, particularly this Mana Tree that grew next to the Core Academy"

The camera then showed the Mana Tree with its white ash trunk and leaves that glowed every time it swayed from the wind. The tree is shaped into a teardrop and floating particles of blue light flew around the tree

"Whoaaaaa..."

Everyone exclaimed as their eyes were mesmerized

"Beautiful, isn't it..."

Yozu commented

"Now moving on... Before we go inside the Core Academy, let's see what's around it. First is the Jade Palace"

The camera showed a large mountain next to the Core Academy, with hundreds of steps leading to a palace made of green jade

"The Jade Palace is where the Mystical Masters gather. This is also the place where they cultivate, since Mana is abundant around here. It also oversees the entire Mystical Academy and gives protection to everyone"

The camera flew and revolved around the Jade Palace to show its glory

"Next, we have Institutions! With these institutions, you will learn to have an expertise of a field. Only one can be chosen because that's the limit of human potential, but if you're lucky enough, you might have an affinity to all three of them!"

The camera showed a building that has a symbol of a pot above a fire and three circles above the pot

"This is the Alchemy Brewing Institution! If you have an affinity to alchemy and brewing, this place is perfect for you. In this place you'll be able to learn the essence of magic and mana and create potions, concontions, wicked items, and strange substances. It's like being a witch, but not quite"

Everyone was excited by the thought of creating potions. They can already imagine themselves making health potions and mana potions that are popular in games and fantasy. Though, they are skeptic about the thought of being a witch since the world had history of witches back in the day

"If you were placed here, you won't be considered as witches, but alchemists, as the name says. The main goal of this institute is creates pills and medicines that has various effects on an individual when swallowed. If you've seen any wuxia or cultivation novels or manhwa, I think you already know what these entails... And yes, it's possible because there are magical herbs and mystical plants already growing around Earth"

"!!!"

Everyone suddenly became excited once again. Not only that it was confirmed that they create pills like they can strengthen their five senses, muscles, bones, and many more, it was also confirmed that herbs and plants that has never existed before has grown on Earth

"I won't reveal anymore about the Alchemy Institute and it's for you to see after 8 years!"

The camera then showed the building next to the Alchemy Brewing Institution. The building has a symbol of an anvil with a hammer above it hitting it

"This is the Forge Masters Institution. As for its name, you already know it. It's an institution for blacksmiths, toolsmiths, armor smiths, craftsman, tailors, and many more!"

"Ooohhh!"

Everyone exclaimed from interest and curiosity. Suddenly, they had a realization and their eyes went wide and they gasped for air

"You already know it. Magic and mana, plus forging in the Mystical Academy? Yes, magical items are now a possibility... Thanks to Philip's research that allowed the Sci-Tech Division to thrive and develop further into the world, the Mystical Academy also benefited from this breakthrough. Magic staves, mana amulets, magic trinkets, you name them all"

Everyone went into an uproar. Not only they can have abilities by harnessing mana, they will also have the chance to create magical items. Even if they didn't reach the 8th year and graduated to choose to enter the Core Academy, if the forge masters are able to create them, they will still be able to use them when they are sold. People who are hopeless and skeptic that they will have abilities and qualify to enter the Mystical Academy suddenly became hopeful that they will be able to hold a fantasy item

"But these magical items will only be circulated on the Mystical Academy. It will not be available outside of the academy because of several reasons like conflict and balance between magic and science"

Everyone grunted and their hopes plummeted

"Moving on... The third and final institution will be called Array Formation Institution"

The camera then showed the building next to the Forge Masters Institution with a symbols of a disc with strange symbols written around the edge and struck by a line diagonally across

Everyone was quiet because they want to understand what this institution will provide

"This institution is the hardest of the three. In all honesty, no one is able to even learn in this place, even the Mystical Array Master is but a beginner, but that will go a long way. He is the one responsible for arraying and creating the barrier around the academy"

Everyone had no reactions in the Array Formation Institution, especially after Yozu mentioned that no one was able to learn it. They were bummed out, but the ones who know the power and importance of array, they were hopeful that someone would be able to learn it

"Because of that, we will be removing limitations for the Array Formation Institution. You can go here, even if you don't have an affinity to it and try to learn it. For whoever are able to learn, even a fraction of knowledge from it, we will be providing special privileges to them. We will try and help you to uncover the secrets of the array as much as we can. That will be all"

Everyone murmured, giving their own opinions about the institution. If Yozu made it look like it was very hard, then they were definitely skeptic at trying to learn it while suffering several years of studying

But several people were eager to learn array just for the special privileges. A few of them were grinning and looking forward to the time they will be able to try and learn array

On the other hand, Philip couldn't blame them. He knew that constructing and forming array is extremely hard, especially if they're starting from scratch. Just like the Bloof Enchantment, Blood Writing, Blood Runes, and Blood Sigils, Philip was able to create arrays within arrays within formation and within arrays from that time during the battles against Zxhst

Array will literally require them to make, create, and invent new symbols everytime and imbie them with specific effects and functionality. If they were to recreate specific symbols, such as alphabets, such as English, Chineses, Japanese, Greek, and many more, they have to imbue the same effect and concept of that symbol to the same symbol. If they were off even by negligible, the array would fail

It's almost as if it's computer coding, but every symbol, input, and display has individual deeper coding within them. For example, to create the symbol of "A", they will have to code the "A" itself, while in doing so, they also have to code the codes of the "A"

That will be the basic of arraying. An array that has hundreds to thousands of layers has the ability to affect certain aspects of the world, while millions of layers has the ability to affect the universe itself

That's what Philip believes anyways. Just like how he layered over a hundred runes and arrays, with the help of a specific sigil, to break Justine out of the Chronostasis, that deals with time itself, about 6 months ago

"Next, we have the sects! These sects are different from the sects that the Mystical Masters own outside of the Mystical Academy. The only difference is that, the sects here are available to everyone, that is of you chose to enter the Core Academy. Respective Mystical Masters govern these sects and they can hold over one thousand pupils"

Everyone listened, like they were in a class and they're will to learn is through the roof

"If you're not into production skill like stated previously, of course you can enter this sect and train your combat skills. The Martial Arts Sect!"

The camera panned towards a different building with several training grounds, specifically for martial arts and showed a symbol of a hand hitting a board and snapping it to half

"All kinds of martial arts will be taught here and you are free to learn them, as long as several other Mystical Masters of every field saw potential within you. There are ancient lost techniques, modern techniques, you name it. You just need the willpower to overcome these obstacles"

Everyone that is interested in martial arts were excited, but not with the others because they know that it will be an arduous training

"However, if you're not into martial arts and wanted to use some kind of item... There is the Weapons Mastery Sect!"

The camera panned into another building that has a symbole of a sword, a spear, and axe, and a bow and arrow crossing each other

"Several Mystical Masters with hundreds of weapon masteries will be teaching your desired weapon to master it. It ranges from a sword, to a spear, to bows, to spoons, plungers, pistols, snipers, broomsticks, chair, pen, and many more"

Everyone curled their eyebrows and questioned if Yozu was serious or he's joking. Even the others had their eyes empty, Philip only had his eyes closed

'What he gave as an example makes sense'

"Guys, c'mon, we all know that everything can be a weapon. We are providing diversity and we won't leave anything behind"

"Even the Mystical Masters?!"

Several people around the world voiced out, which made everyon agree

"It's just necessary and it just happens that they mastered those weapons"

"Ah..."

Everyone just then blindly accepted the fact that there is Mystical Master for spoon, a chair, and a plunger. They can't do anything anyways and it has been done

"Alright! The next sect is the Magic Mastery Sect!"

The camera panned into another building with a symbol of a star floating above an open hand

"If youre magic affinity is too strong and powerful, this place suits you the best. We teach magic control and show magic that hasn't been seen before. Of course, there will be requirements before entering this sect"

Everyone nodded and understood Yozu's worries. Not all people will be able to learn those magic anyways if they don't have a strong affinity to magic. So, this sect is practically useless to people who have low magic affinity or low class abilities. They can improve the potential of their abilities in the Core Academy anyways, but not in the Magic Mastery Sect

"Now, if you don't like arduous training and movements and rigorous work, unlike the previous mentioned sects and institutions, this sect is perfect for you, especially if you're on to exploring. The Medicinal Gathering Sect"

The camera panned into a fourth building with a symbol of a strange leaf next to some pouches with plus signs in them

"In this sect, you will be taught everything that you need to know about Magical Herbs and Mystical Plants. This sect provides all the herbs and plants that are required in the Alchemy Brewing Institution. Well, that's most of it, I guess"

Everyone had no reaction since this sect is mediocre to them, but to some few, they were very interested and the fact that they will be able to learn about new species of plants caught their interest

"The fifth and final sect will be on hold for now, since I haven't receive a word to reveal it to the world. I guess, you have to learn about it when you enter the Core Academy"

Yozu teased the world and Philip was curious. His eyes then went wide

「 Learn the nature of the 5th sect in the Mystical Academy: Incomplete 」

Philip suddenly became extremely excited from seeing the displays in his vision

Quests are different from task in a way where quests are long term and tasks are shrot term, so Philip wanted to complete it immediately and receive the reward because he's very interested in the Gacha System that may have altered causality

He then went ahead and took advantage of his position in the world

"Sai..."

Philip called out to Sai

"Yes?"

"What's the 5th sect about?"
