Chapter Twenty One

I open to door to see June.

"I'm sooo sorry if I'm disturbing you, but I had to apologize for yesterday!"

"Whoa calm down June, slowly please."

"Right, I wanted to apologize to you about snooping, I thought it would be nice to see old memories."

"There was no way for you to know, but I appreciate the thought. I don't blame you, ok?"

"Ok, good."

She releases a breath and shrinks down about an inch.

"Good night June, see you tomorrow."

"Night."

With that I close the door, as she scurrys away. I turn and see that Xander had finished in the bathroom. I walked over and grabbed a towel, as I head for a shower. I turn the shower on and wait for the water to heat up. I take my hair down and brush it. It smelled like chlorine and sand. I brushed it until I could run my fingers through it, and step in the shower. I close the door, and throw my clothes over it. I walk into the falling water and let my hair soak up the water. I shampoo it, then condition. I wash my body off with soap, then rinse the conditioner out of my locks. I turn the water of then grab my towel off the top of the door. I patted my skin removing the water. I wrap the towel around my body, as I step out to put my night gown back on. I braid my hair back and crawl over Xander to get to my side of the bed. I lay down and fall asleep.

For the rest of the week I just hung out with everyone playing pool volleyball, and making a bond fire on the beach. Not hiding my secrets from them makes me feel free to do whatever. I've started socializing with everyone who's left, even the boys. Before I was trying to keep my friend groop small, so that it would be easier for me to remember everyone and open up. Having everyone being, so friendly has really helped. It not like there was anything wrong with Ace, Ashley, Linda, or Jessie, but they seemed more comfortable gust staying with each other than in a groop. Witch I can understand why it was that way with them, that way they had all their time to focus on a partner. I myself want to give my attention to everyone, I would like to be friends with everyone here their all great people. They are also the future of they kingdoms and having there friendship would be great for future business.

"Hey Ray, are you coming? We got the fire goin'"

"Ya, I'll be there once I grab a cola Junebug."

"Ok!" She says with a smile and practically skips outside.

I smile to myself, as I watch.

"Don't get to attached Rayanna."

My mother says into my ear, her hands on my shoulders.

"I'm only making alliances, not that it madders to you."

She grips my face with one of her hands.

"Remember who you belong to girl."

I stay quiet her hand on my face. She squeezes and I speak.

"Yes ma'am."

"Good girl."

She releases me patting me on the head before she walks off. I grab my drink from the fridge, and when she can't see me I give the finger in her direction and walk off.

"Ray!" I see Erin waving me down.

I jog over joining the group around the fire.

"Where's Xan?"

"He sayed he had to do something, but I was talking to Grayson. We were talking about extra crucials, and Grayson menshioned that he plays piano. Then I remembered that you told me you sing, so I was ondering if the two of you would whant to do something at dinner."

"I'm down if Gary's up to it. I don't get to sing often, so it would be fun."

"Ya, I've got time."

"Yay, this will be fun!" I hear June say exitment in her voice.

"Hey everyone!" I turn to see Lillian and Colin holding bags.

"Who wants to make s'mores!" Lil yells, and everyone cheers.

"Hi Ray," I hear, as Xander's arms wrap around me.

I turn to look at him, the fire lighting up his fechurs. He leans it kissing me while the others giggle and cook marshmallows. He pulls away looking me in my eyes.

"Do you whant to go on a little trip?"

"Sure," I turn to the others, "Xan and I are going on a little trip."

"Ok," Lillian says.

"Be back soon!" June yells, as we walk off.

I run infront of Xander, walking backwards while I ask him questions.

"We're we goin'"

"Surprise."

"Xanderrrr," I say pulling on his shirt.

"I said it's a surprise."

I huff.

"Oh come here little lady," he charges picking me up, and caries me on his shoulders.

I sit on his shoulders as he walks. Compared to me on the ground Xander is tall, but being up here is great. I can see a small town in the distance. I throw my arms out enjoying the height.

"Whoooouuuu!" I yell and Xander laughs.

I bring my hands back, and play with his hair in my fingers. I lean forward so I can see him my hair falling as I do.

"How long till I can know?"

"Patients Ray, where almost there."

"Ok."

I settle back and relax letting my hair pick up the breeze. I close my eyes breathing in the salt sented air.

"We're here."

I open my eyes to I see a horse.

"Oh! You weren't kidding when you said trip."

He help me up first on to the horse. He then jumps on reins in his hands. I sit infront, but Xander is in control of the horse. We road bareback but Xander was strong, so I didn't slip. The horse cantered in a way that was so peaceful. I feel the horse work, and soon we pass camp laughing. We slow down to a walk and Xan asks me to walk us forward. I feel him play around with my hair, but I don't ask questions. Soon we arrive at a place on the beach, where there was no lights. The stars were bright and the moon was full, and reflected off the ocean. We got there and there was sparkalers all in a circle and a candle in the center. He leads me to stand in the middle. He goes around lighting them all up.

"I know this comoptishion is a little exelirated, but that has nothing to do with the timeing of this. I have loved you since I got to know you."

He gets down on a knee taking my hand in his. I stiffen in shock. He said he loves me.

"Would you marry me Rayanna?"

The words snap me back.

"Of corse Xander!"

He takes out a box and inside lays a wooden ring. He slips it onto my finger.

" I whanted to ask you when you weren't so stressed. This one is temporary, I'll by you something to match you beauty when we get home."

He stands up and I hug him tightly, I kiss him hard still squeezing him in my arms.

"I love you Xander."

"I love you to Ray."

We hide back to the fire pit. I jump off the horse ,and run over to the girls hugging them all.

"Whow Ray, what's going on?" Lillian asks.

"I can't breath..," June complains.

I let go and look at them. It take a moment for one of them to noitice. Erin grabs my hand.

"He proposed!" Erin yells.

I nod my head, and they all squeal.

"Omg this is so great Ray!" June says voice high.

"Congratulations!" Lillian adds excited.

"What's going on?" Colin asks walking over the boys following him.

Xander jogs up behind them after putting the horse away. I see the huge smile on his face.

"He proposed to her Col!" Lillian answers.

"Congratulations man." He says with a smile, as he gives Xander a little hug.

The rest of them give there congrats, while Xander and I beam at each other. We all make our way over to the fire. I sit infront of Xander, while he toasts a marshmallow over the fire. He takes it off and adds gram crackers and chocolate. He breaks it in half, handing me one.

"Thank you."

"Welcome."

I lean back looking at him, as he stares into the fire. I take a bite and relax injoying the taste. He lays one arm around my chest, and I snuggle up resting my head on his shoulder. I breath in that smell that he always seemed to have. How? How did I find you?

We all make our way inside, when the fires coals turn black. We make our way to the dinning room. We had stoped eating with my mother. We usually had to wait for her to finish, so that we could eat there. We got there and the kitchen went to work, as we all sat around the table. Like we had agreed Gray and I did a cupple songs together, before we all ate and went our separate ways.

I walked happily holding Xan's arm. I look up at him, and I feel my face get hot. I want him to know how much I really love him.

We enter the room and do our normal rutean getting ready for bed. I  wait for him to finish and walk out the bathroom. As he dose I pull him to me, on the wall.

"Uh, Hey," he says startled at my sudden action.

I grab him by the collar pulling him down to me. I kiss him moving my hand to his hair, running my finders through it. He moves his hands down to my waist holding my between his hands. I kiss him, but soon he takes the lead kissing me over. He pulls away a little the breath before going back to kiss me again. I open my mouth letting the kiss deepen. This was usually as far as we go. I pull back releases get him from the kiss.

"Xander," I wisper, "I whant you."

I knew that I would have to make the first move. Xander wouldn't take it that far on his own, he didn't want to push me into anything. It took a moment for it to sink in before he wisperd back.

"Are you sure you don't want to wait until our honeymoon," he says in almost a teaseing tone.

His voice, GOD his voice was beautiful. I nod my head. This time he takes the lead. He kisses me again knowing what I wanted this time. He leaves my lips for a second changing his target, and if felt like an eturnaty of torture. He soon came back kissing my neck and collar bone. I humm in enjoyment, and I feel him smile agenst my skin. He continues to teases me kissing my skin, before coming back to my lips. He pulls back slightly our lips a centimeter away. He runs his left hand down my leg, to hold it up to his hip.

"Jump," he wispers.

I jump up and he holds me up, pushing my back on the wall. He gids my legs to the right place. I hold on the the back of his neck kissing his, as he holds my full weight. He walks away from the wall and over to the bed laying me down. He takes my arms away from his head, moving his hands to interweave our fingers. He pull back looking me in the eyes, squeezing my hands.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"At any point, you can tell me to stop ok."

I nod. Xander I love you.
