Penny and the dreaded doctor!

Penny gets up and runs downstairs, where Cameron, Q, Gileani are waiting for her. Q was getting ready to go work, and wanted to give Penny a hug before he left.

"Have a good day today, darling..." Q says as he hugs Penny close. Penny loved getting hugs from Q more than Gileani. In her young mind, Gileani gave better cuddles, but Q gave better hugs.

"Have a good day daddy.." Penny said as Q heads to the door.

"Oh yeah, good luck with the doctor!" Q said as he opens the front door.

Penny went wide-eyed, and then looked at Gileani. "D-doctor?"

"Honey..." Gileani said softly. "He's not going to hurt you, just check and see if you're health is up to par."

"He gave me a shot last time!" Penny said as she clutched her left arm. "I don't want another one!"

"It's okay Penny!" Cameron says reassuringly. "They don't even hurt after a while..."

Penny sniffs. "R-really?"

"Yeah!"

Q kneels in front of Penny as pats her shoulder. "It'll be okay, Penny. Just be brave, okay? Do it for mommy and daddy..."

"O-Okay..." Penny says with a forced smile.

Q nods and gets up, before walking out of the house and closing the door behind him.

After Q leaves, the three wait for a bit before hearing a knock at the door.

"Oh my stars, that must be him now! He came quite early..." Gileani says as she rushes to the door. Gileani opens the door to see a tall brown-haired man, dressed in a lab coat with black gloves.

"Hello...is this Miss. Wyndell's residence?" The man says.

"Yes..." Gileani responds politelty. "Come on in..." She says as she ushers the man inside. "You must be Doctor Unis."

"Yes, I am..." The man says as he looks at Penny. "You ready for your check-up Miss Penny?"

"NO!" Penny shouts before hiding behind Cameron. Cameron sighs in annoyance.

"Someone has a small fear of doctors..." Gileani says as the doctor kneels in front of Penny and Cameron.

"I'll tell you what Miss Penisula....if you can cooperate with me...I'll give you...this." The doctor says as he pulls a small toy out of his pocket. Penny looks at the toy with interest as she exits from behind Cameron.

"That's a-....that's a cool toy..." Penny says as she grabs the toy out of the doctor's hand.

"And it's all yours miss Penny...if you sit down and let me do the check-up.." The doctor says sweetly.

Penny sits down on the couch and looks at a picture of Q on the table next to her. "Daddy would want me to be brave...but the doctor is so scary!" She thinks to herself.

"Alright Penny, this check-up is going to be short...all I need is one blood sample, okay?" The doctor says as he pulls out a needle.

Penny goes wide eyed once more. "Just gotta be brave.....for mommy and daddy..."

The doctor approaches Penny and slides up her sleeve. He rubs Penny's skin with a wipe before positioning the needle at her arm.

"Take a deep breath darling..." Gileani says as she holds Penny's hand. Cameron sits quietly and watches. Penny holds her breath and forces her mind to think of something else. "Puppies....kittens...cotton candy.." She panics even more, before the doctor says: "There we go....good to go..."

Penny looks at her arm. "What? It's over?"

"Yep....just like that..." The doctor says. "A deal's a deal...that toy is YOURS and this blood sample is mine..."

"Good job Penny!" Cameron and Gileani say as they clap. Penny sits as she watches the doctor leave their home. She thinks to herself: "Gee that wasn't so bad.." Before running to her bedroom with Cameron, ready to play with toys. The doctor, and the needle in the back of her head.

As the doctor leaves the house, he gets out of sight of Gileani from the window, then he meets with Q.

"How did she do?" Q asks.

"She cooperated just fine, thanks to that toy idea of yours..." The doctor said.

"I had to make it easy for you somehow, otherwise you'd be here for at least two hours..."

"Really? She's THAT much of a fighter..."

"Yeah. You should've saw her with the LAST doctor. We didn't want a second incident....I wanted to make sure she was comfortable....as well as making sure YOU had an easy time..."

"Well regardless, thanks anyway...I'd best get going..."

"Me too...Don't wanna be late for work..."

With that, the two men depart and both of them pull out of the driveway and go their separate ways.
