Chapter 22 : A Night Out With Him

Within the last couple of days,Alexander and Zoey had not really had a chance to pursue their plan of exploring what they had going on between them.All because immediately the day after the ballroom party,he was called to come handle some work in France.And so,he left but promised to make things right when he got back.

And so Saturday night,the day Alexander flew back from France,he told Zoey to get ready because he had plans made out for them that night.Whatever they were, Zoey couldn't wait to explore all of them with him.Especially because she felt needy of his presence and all of him for the past two weeks.He did mention that he was firstly taking her out to dinner at a new opened Russian restaurant in Colombia Tower.

At first, Zoey was astonished by the fact that the restuarant was a Russian one. I mean,only American restaurants dominated the area since it was their native country but to have a Russian one introduced out of the blue?It was quite uncertaining yet fascinating.

Out on the front driveway,Alexander was leaning his back against a new flashy red sports car.He was dressed handsomely in a black sheen tuxedo with his hair curled just right.Trailing cautiously down the stairs as her black heels clicked on the ground, Zoey looked like a real dime in front of Alexander's forest green eyes.She was in a red magnificent bodycon mid-thigh dress which suited her fine body just right,flashing out her perfect curves and her long delicate model legs.Her hair fell down all over her shoulders perfectly.

She approached him and stood just an inch away from him.Both of them,staring intensely into each other's souls like never before.

Then,without warning,Zoey wrapped her arms around him and tightly embraced him.Without hesitation,Xander hugged back with full warmth.The hug lasted for a long time as they both relaxed into each other's soothing,genuine,electric embrace.Xander could take in her pleasant cologne which aroused him so much.

"Did you miss me?" Xander asked as they broke the hug.

"Not really...no." She teased,shaking her head.

Xander laughed softly."Yeah right.I wholeheartedly believe that." He sarcastically said,causing Zoey to laugh too.

"You look absolutely gorgeous by the way." He complimented with a smile."Red suits you just fine."

Zoey blushed and ducked her head."Thanks.You look quite handsome yourself."

"Well you know, I always do but I'll just make you happy by saying thank you." He mocked,earning a smack after that.

He opened the door for her to get in which she muttered a low thank you before sliding a heel in.It looked even more ravishing on the inside.The interior looked like something you'd see in a spaceship.The seats were leathery,shiny and the aura inside was so pleasant.It smelled not only brand new but smelled also like it has just been washed and smelled of multiple sprays.With the bright white lights on,the view inside was totally breathtaking. It was so beautiful.

Alexander smirked as he saw how observant and astonished Zoey was by the beauty of the car.

"You like?" He asked,leaning on her window,inches away from her face.

Zoey smiled."Like?I love this baby!" She dramatically exclaimed with amusement plastered all over her face.

"Do you?" He smirked.

"Totally!It's going to be my second sentimental purchase once I get my second payment." She confessed.

Alexander raised an eyebrow."And your first will be?"He curiously asked.

"A glass house." She simply replied.

"Wow,"Xander chuckled."So what if I told you that your dream of purchasing your second of choice product has just became a reality in this instant?"

"I'm confused.." Zoey said,not following.

"Oh my gosh!That was so much fun Alexander!" Zoey chirped happily as they both exited the car.

Xander had bought the car specially for Zoey and she was all over the moon to receive such a gem of a gift.It was a Ferrari,F12berlinetta.

It was around 1am when they got back home.They had been out all night having so much fun together. After dinner, they went to the movies which got Zoey so excited because it had been long since someone took her.And by that 'someone,' it was referred to his brother as he was the only male who was in her life all along.Coming back from the movies, they went to the beach and had time to have a virtuous talk between them and also relaxing under the pleasant sounds of the waves near them.Wrapping up the night,he took her spinning where there was a night spinning competition and she pleaded him to be a part of it too.After too much hesitation, Alexander gave in and let her enter the competition. It was men against women and Zoey had the power to win the price on first place.She couldn't believe it,neither did Alexander.

"I'm just glad to see you at your happiest state that's all."Xander said as he held the front door open for Zoey to enter.

Zoey chuckled."Good night Sir." She said softly before turning her heels around and heading upstairs.

"Good night princess." Xander replied more like to himself.

As he was about to disappear into the kitchen, Zoey's voice stopped him.

"Hey Xander."She called out.

"Yeah?" He asked, rubbing the back of his neck with his hand.

"Thanks for tonight and that beast of a beautiful baby."She said,smiling in the process.

He smiled back at her."You're welcome, and I knew you were going to fall in love with it immediately." He referred to the car he gave her.

She shot her one last smile before trailing up the stairs.But she swore that she heard Xander mumbling something underneath his breath as she walked away.Something like,

"Just like I fell in love with you."
