"Evan!" I screamed, opening all my eyes as I glared at the angel. The surprise that flashed across his face only annoyed me more and he chuckled slightly as Sarai squirmed in his grip.

"I see, the spell didn't completely erase your memories," he remarked, giving me a pitiful smile. "That's too bad. It really would have been better for you if you had forgotten me."

"You–" I was forced to stop speaking as my head was slammed back into the ground, that invisible hand increasing the pressure on me. Adam shook his head, not trying to hide his annoyance.
