Divorce III
At the Myers Villa.
" Did she really leave without making a fuss?", asked Jayden as he felt that something was wrong.
Sienna would have created a scene the moment she saw Emily in the villa divorce or not.
" Yes. Ms. Sienna left with Theodore", replied Butler Lee.
Emily's eyes brightened. She had been trying to figure out a way to get rid of Theodore but now that 'Sienna' had taken him away after the divorce, her journey to become Jayden's wife will be easier. Now all she had to do was win over Jayden's parents which might be a difficult task as Jayden's mother, Julianna really liked Sienna as her daughter-in-law and despised Emily. Whenever Emily tried to spend time with Julianna, she would ignore her and pay attention to Sienna which made Emily angry and upset every single time.
Jayden's father, James Myers, just didn't care about her and never raised his head to glance at her but he gave her a cold shoulder. It was pretty obvious that he preferred Sienna as his daughter-in-law rather than Emily. One reason for that is, that while Sienna's marriage to Jayden brought him a lot of benefits, him getting married to Emily would not result in any benefits. In fact, it will unnecessarily trouble his way.
But Emily was confident in her skills and her eyes shone brighter than before as she thought of ways to make her future in-laws like her.
Butler Lee looked at Emily in disdain and disgust. He tried to hide it but his eyes said it all.
' Ms. Sienna had just left and she is already trying to scheme her way into the Myers family'
Jayden was dumbfounded and kept silent. His mind was filled with thoughts.
' Is she just pretending or did she leave for good?'
' I don't believe that she left for good'
' She will probably be back here tomorrow to ask for money or something'
He snapped out of his thought when he felt Emily grab his arm.
" Does this mean that we can finally have our wedding?", Emily asked sweetly.
Butler Lee cringed at the scene.
" I have to talk to my family and introduce you to the public but that will be later. I just divorced Sienna. If I marry you immediately, people might label you as a mistress", Jayden answered with a sigh.
' But technically, isn't Ms. Emily supposed to be a mistress? She tried to come in between you and Ms. Sienna while the both of you were still married', Butler Lee thought in his head.
Emily's smile widened.
" Okay! I will listen to you", said Emily as she hugged Jayden's arm.
Jayden felt uncomfortable and tried to push Emily away but Emily held on even tighter.
" I will go ahead and sleep if you don't have anything left for me to do", said Butler Lee as he tried to excuse himself from this awkward atmosphere.
" Mhm..go ahead and rest. Goodnight", said Jayden calmly.
" Goodnight Mr. Jayden and...Ms. Emily", said Butler Lee before turning around and leaving.
Emily's nails were digging into her hands at this point. Butler Lee had been embarrassing her and putting her through awkward situations ever since she first stepped foot into the Myers Villa. She had grown to despise Butler Lee. She hoped that once she became Jayden's wife, she could get rid of Butler Lee. Make him regret treating her like trash. As she thought of this a sinister smile formed on her face but Jayden didn't see that.
" I think it's time for you to leave, Emily", said Jayden.
" But…I want to stay here", Emily expressed.
" You can't stay here", Jayden stated.
" I will just stay in the guest room. Please, I will not trouble you", Emily pleaded.
Jayden finally gave in and Emily was allowed to spend the night at the Myers Villa. Emily felt excited as this was the first time she was staying over without Theodore and Sienna here. She was so excited that she could barely sleep. She tossed and turned around in bed. She looked out the window and stared at the moon.
