Chapter 48 Final’s test

Esai Kinzuma| unknown sector of Nakio Galaxy, 2206 Late-December

Esai sitting on soft glades of grass as breathing in as well contemplates his life after what he had truly gone through, he pulls up his t-shirt revealing a scorched handprint on his rib leaving a nasty scar as a souvenir where his fatal wound was at. Taking in everything as he lay down, he stared at the nimbus clouds gradually crossing over the sky. Karren, Shai, and Anarosa are watching him by the hill where there are boulders in the ridge edge as they are also in a lighter mood because of what is going to happen.

"Ignorance is truly a bliss, like he has no worries does he?" Karren looked over her shoulder.

"Why care for his well being? Is it his time to choose how he wants to spend it?" Shai did not bother to look at the boy.

"He truly is a nice boy…"Anarosa gazes at Esai with pity.

The sisters jolted with a gwak pertaining to her words of concerns. Retaining their composure they asked their sister again.

"Why suddenly pity for this Messenger? I thought you hated him?" Karren looked curiously at Anarosa waiting for her reply.

"If he was full blood Spirit Sensitive I would welcome our brother to kill him with no questions asked. However, he is neither of those things; he is only a fraction of some of the Factions while he is human." Anarosa stood up to watch Esai.

"What does it have to do with not hating him, Ana? Clearly he was taught to hate us." Shai folded her arms disprovally.

"That is exactly my point; he is ignorant of us, he knows nothing of us, does not know the Factions, history, politics, and not even our pasts. Just like you said Karren 'Ignorance is truly a bliss' why should I hate him?" Anarosa brought an interesting point as well, a fresh air.

"Point taken, given that was unusual Ana, even for you..."Karren agrees with a tinge of guilt.

"Interestingly enough, not even his biological father knows of us which is a bit fresh of air." Shai stretches out her arms.

Esai from a distance watches the alien animals with such child-like wonder as if he never saw animals.Part of it because he is in the constant state of surviving as never got to enjoy the scenery for it is a rare moment for him. He could literally spend all day watching nature and beauty that surround him as he never gets to see this much green in his entire life. Alas his heart knew this would not last as it was a last test he must do as he got up and turned towards Karren, Shai, and Anarosa from his view distance.As if it was their cue to teleport before him as light breeze between them and Esai.

"Is there anything you would like to eat before you begin any last minute preparation, Kinzuma?" Karren intently looks at Esai.

"How about a cheap Ramen cup? If I may, I feel I should eat something light which is simple enough." Esai simply asked.

Karren was expecting a luxurious full course meal was not expecting something mediocre albeit she respected his request she vanished.Shai and Anarosa remain in place as terrain of the land as the sun is in mid day as gradient shadow covers some part of the areas.It is looming presence for Esai as was very relaxing for Shai and Anarosa as the shadows passes as the sunlight ray changes direction that made it bright again. It was about a minute that passed that Karren returned as she teleported back as she carried a hot Ramen cup with a set of chopsticks. Esai thanked Karren as she handed over the Ramen cup to him.

Esai silently prayed for his food then gently pulled off the paper thin lid as steam vapor rose to the air. He grabs the chopsticks to pick up the noodles as he blows on it to cool down the hot noodles. Esai lightly slurps the noodles as his lips take in smooth noodles into his mouth as he chews down for it was a decently tasty noodle he ever had. Esai consumes the entirety of the Ramen cup noodles until emptied.As Esai sighed with relief until Karren spoke with a solemn voice which did not put Esai's mind at ease which confirmed his suspicion.

"Esai compared to the other tests you had previously taken. It will be unforgiving that there will be no second chances." Karren warned ominously.

Esai stood up bluntly, "What do you mean there will be no second chance Karren!?" Karren moves toward Esai's face threateningly "No chances, Kinzuma are we clear?" as she turns away while Shai approaches Esai with a pen and paper as she hands it over to him "Write your will and testament also make your peace with yourself and your God." As Shai took a stepback.

Anarosa gave him a head pat on his spiky hair which made Esai's cheeks blush red. Esai was told it would take much time he needed for writing. Anarosa volunteers to refine Esai's spiritual abilities or Vida abilities. Esai wrote his will and testament briefly straight to the point. Esai made peace with God and somewhat made peace with himself. Esai used precious time to refine his spiritual abilities and Vida abilities got some valuable insight from Anarosa.

"You seem to flow easier with Vida energy than with spiritual abilities which is oddly interesting." Anarosa sees Esai holding bright Vida energy that illuminates the amber aura that holds out his hand.

"What does that even mean Anarosa?" Esai stares at Anarosa for answers as amber aura dissipates from his hand.

"That is something you must discover for yourself, that all the time I have for you. As the light of the sun is setting, the rest of your time is useful to be used for refining further of your own. If...you survive that test."Anarosa went away to the shadows.

Esai had no idea how late it was seeing that sun was setting as the darkness of night was rising. Night is dark blue which is unusual for him normally it would be pitch black.Must something to do with no city light. As seen he for the first time nebulous of stars which were bright and wondrous that took his breath away with such majesty as glisters of crystal light.Taking immense beauty of scenery of the star that may as well be billions of stars as recalling that back on Earth it very rare to see such marvels because of the city density because of the city lights only see images on the internets or video from the documentaries.It is nothing comparing with the real thing as he see with his own eyes as he stargazing for little as it feel like a gift to him.

He has to sleep pretty soon as he sees a sleeping bag as he unzips it to go into rest as spend little time watching stars as his mind and body is feeling restless because he is extremely nervous about the following test that will inevitably come soon. As he shifts side to side for the rest of the night.

Esai felt a bit groggy and did not have much sleep as the morning sunlight touched his face as he got up from the sleeping bag. Karren, Shai, and Anarosa are nowhere to be found. There was one exception: a portal that flowed as spatial shadowy mist that had ominous vibes to it. This he has been waiting for whatever is in there to await beyond this place as it sets a tone what his test will be. Esai thought "Once I enter through the portal there is no going back." as he vexed at the possibility. Even if tried to turn back now, how would he get back home? It would literally be impossible, especially what skills he currently has.

The only choice he has now is forward, which led him to this point as the path that had shown him. "Have courage and may the Holy Spirit be with me." as he walks with no hesitation into the portal. Darkness was there for a brief moment as he felt dry warm air breezing through his spiky hair and his skin. As Esai eagerly moves forward he sees the light at the end of the tunnel as the sun rays are blinding, reaching the exit. Once his eyes adjust as he squints his eyes to see terrain badland, a literal wasteland. Seeing different rock formations of the plateau that divides the land as it is reminiscent of his home.

When his parents took him to Moab, Utah that was once a great tourist attraction that once was a famous Delicate Arch that stood there hundreds of years ago before it had eroded away due to breaking down by the weather. Now there is only a hologram projection that shows what it would look like, which is lame now just to pay the money just to see a hologram which takes away the purpose of sight seeing. This is insane of the magnitude to very much like the Grand Canyon as he would look around, he walks over the natural stone bridge to get a better view around him. This place must be covered by the ocean at one point as the dry winds breezes at his face which intensifies his shoulders with uneasiness.

There is a man wearing a cloak standing in an observing distance as Esai make way searching for his test. The man conceals his spiritual presence as he blends into the environment as he disappears behind the plateaus pillars. Esai subtly felt an ominous presence as he prone over the flat surface of the tall orange ridges reaching downward of the plateau to reach a complete flat dryland that wide area that somewhat leveled footing. Esai had no idea how tall the canyons were until what he saw down there was that they were magnificently tall like three thousand feet too while there were some hidden shades of where the sunlight had not reached. "Focus!" Esai criticized himself; he knew that man was lurking around; he just blended very well to his environment.

Esai stood in the middle where the sunlight is the brightest as he looked up to see a canyon bowl like a disk. It was very unnerving that there was nothing moving out there; he would expect critters such as:geckos, scorpions,armadillos,snakes,and vultures. It is just dead silent which is something that bothers Esai excessively. It is not like he does not pay attention to details about it, but this he is familiar with. Esai knows he got a key clue from his previous encounter with this man; he blends with the shadows which is what he excels at. It is difficult to detect him even with his spiritual senses that elude him. When there was a strong impression with himself remembering that this man did possess this teenager very easily.

"What if he had possessed me?" Esai hypothesized in his thoughts.

Considering that man loves to torment his prey as he has predator-like behavior as Esai allows his shadow to be open. If Esai is correct his shadow should be the same length as the cast shadow that is naturally made by the sunlight. Esai walks toward the pillar that is thirty feet away from him. His shadow should be consistent of its size then as made complete stop there was an eerie presence as the man rose behind Esai's shadow as his red crimson flares. Esai leaps away from him knowing he would have snapped his neck.

"Well you're not a complete fool, young Kinzuma." The man casually unhooded himself as his cold voice consolidates his form.

Esai's body could not stop shaking even though his spirit felt fear toward this man.Esai seeing the man has: brown uneven spiky hair, sickly pale, crimson red eyes that are deeply piercing, and his imposing height figure. Esai tries to speak, but his throat is constricted and it hurts terribly that he winces. Implying that Esai does not have permission to speak at all as this man glanced at Esai with an air of superiority as he spoke "Hmph, speechless it is not far-fetched when you are feeling intimidated or feeling uneven."the man walk around him as Esai dare not lose sight of him.

Esai could not describe such feelings that he felt: disrelish and used by people who generally did not like him for no apparent reason. This is most intense that convulsed his very core like he did actually wrong this man. His veins burn with a horrible acid coursing throughout his body. Absolutely worse when it comes to his own spirit that man's gaze cuts through layers of his body directly to Esai's spirit. Right at that moment they were no longer in the badlands; there was a serene plane as far Esai's eyes could see.

Until a brazenly cruel presence that drowns out the serene plane into a dark cesspool encroaches Esai. The man reveals his name to Esai, "My name is Samuel Kumora and I wanted this to be personal and intimate because I want this to be a final declaration."Samuel gotten close to Esai's face as Esai nervously listens to Samuel's dominating spirit "Esai Kinzuma you are the last heir of the original Messenger whose Covenant now falls upon you." As his voice imposes Esai's spirit equilibrium.

Esai blinks his eyes as if he misheard him "What Covenant?"Esai anxiously thought.

Samuel folds his arms as if he has to make this clear to Esai. Samuel sighs irritably, "All you need to know our servitude is the Covenant we made with Rehigh Ringun to serve the family for generations and seeing there has been massive decline of your family it is precisely your family that got hunted to near extinction." Esai's astral form felt heavier as each passing moment as Samuel continues, "Blooded Messenger and called Messenger does not count with exception you truly have his family blood running through you. I wanted to make this known as this will be an end of the Covenant once you die." Esai's eyes and head felt hazy as he asked him, "Y-you-w-want this to end by my death?"Samuel smiles "Simple as that.''as he raises his right hand up as his arm squares.

"I, Samuel Kumora, initiate this test as my Covenant will soon come to an end to see if one truly becomes a Messenger!" Esai recognizes that is a covenant hand as he copies Samuel as he solemnly spoke, "I, Esai Kinzuma, accept this. I covenantly use all my abilities and sources to the fullness of my soul!"Samuel releases the full force of his negative emotions that attack his spirit as he barely can withstand that.

As Esai feels the effects begin to wake up as he understands it as he breathes it "Hatred…"

Back to the badlands as he sees Samuel inappropriately stick his arm out disrespectfully. Esai sprint toward Samuel, although there after image as he stumbles as dust kicks up. Esai on guard however, something is off as he points his index finger to fire Vida Gun. Samuel withstood that projectile without flinching at all. Esai had begun to struggle with movement as well as constriction of breathing. Samuel took notice of this, "What's wrong, are you short of breath, Kinzuma?" as he smiles with complacency.

Esai coughs with great strain as he stands up strenuously howsoever Samuel appears as an instantaneous ghost right before Esai could react and gets smack across the face. Zooming through the air before making contact toward the plateau which leveled the entire area. Shockwave and tremor shakes the entire planet.Esai got up from the leveled plateau as he leapt from piled rocks as he rose from the dust.Staggered on his landing on the unleveled sandstone pillars. Esai rolled down as he crashed while gravity carried him down.

Esai's shirt tattered in half was a gift that the Shadow Tribe gave to him. There was a burning sensation that was seeping misty darkness out of Esai's body.Samuel gazed at Esai seeing how weak he became. Samuel relished every single second of this "Oh how I waited for this for a long time for this moment!" as he is inhaling the moment. Esai struggled as he stood up as Esai coughed out blood from his mouth as spake wearily "Why do you--"Samuel interrupts Esai, "Hate you? It's quite simple. I am tired of serving the Messengers for too long."Samuel spits on the ground with spite.

Esai is about to collapse until he remembers what Anarosa had taught him a certain technique called "Vida Restitution" that can restore his life and spiritual energy back to the original state or transferring one another. Although there was a warning that Anarosa had told him "Using this technique will require exchange some amount of your lifespan, depending on how minor and major you sustained the injuries. Minor injuries such as bruises will only take a couple minutes of your lifespan. However, major injuries such as broken bones or severe lacerations shall generally take one to ten year of your lifespan." Esai recalls from Anarosa's teachings as seeing how badly injured he is. Esai did a wuji posture; breathing that his body had glowed amber and he groaned with pain but tough it through that took ten seconds to recover.

Esai's lifespan which took from Vida energy a mixture of spiritual energy and life energy took like five years of his lifespan. Samuel could not help to devilishly grin "Impressive you manage to prolong your suffering just by doing that Kinzuma." Samuel appeared in front of Esai as he continued a barrage of fists coming at Esai's face. Esai had his guard up to protect his face. Flurry of punches as Esai felt every impact of the fists. It felt like a jackhammer pounding his arms as his face felt harsh breezes that cut Esai's cheek that he tried to counter throw Samuel. Esai could not touch him as Samuel is too nimble as Samuel triple kicks combo:crest kick, round kick, and sidekick.

That sent Esai flying another plateau landscape and force of dust and debris everywhere. Samuel stretched his arms before a shot of dust came out of Esai, a flying punch. Samuel steps away effortlessly as Esai rolls on the ground but quickly stands back up. Esai got a gut shot by Samuel as Esai gritted his teeth in pain. Samuel taunts Esai "How do you like the taste of dust and blood in your mouth?" Samuel watches the boy suffering and struggling.

Esai coughs out blood as did the round kick which Samuel caught Esai's ankle by twirling him around like a ragdoll. Then thrown back to the plateau again as Esai felt disoriented. As the plateau collapses upon him, Samuel laughs as a major dust storm engulfs the area. Under tremendous fragments sandstones like an imploded cemented brick as Esai is trapped under layer depths of earth. Air was very thin as entrenched rocks covered every inch of his limbs with little to none space to move. Crushing tightness lay slow crushing pressure that gradually is compressing him into fine winegrape.

Panic and claustrophobia run through his mind as it was unbearable mental torture and pain as perpetual cycle. So discomforting as Esai laments for his predicament as the dust is clogging up the air as he tasted grainy sand as he spat out with disgust of it. Esai wants to get out of this extremely uncomfortable tightly close fragmented plateau pieces that lay upon his tiny body as weight in his mind, a mountain that is a billion tons that would be immediate death for a normal human. Esai was not only human but he is entirely something else what they call a Spirit Sensitive even if he is only a fraction of a percent as well quarter Darkbringer. Esai struggles to move even though is trapped deeply.

"Still your mind Esai.''A distinctive voice goes through Esai's mind.

"How could I…"Esai's strains with the physical force of the collapsed plateau weighing into his body.

"Esai do you know who you are?" voice question Esai.

"I am Esai Kinzuma, that is who…"Esai retorted with an obvious answer.

"You are a Messenger who has been given access to the power of your very fingertips, uses your gifts and do not allow doubts to cloud your faith."the voice ushers this message to his mind before leaving.

The plateau that is still imposing him down as Esai turns while squinting his eyes as grainy power pours a bit. Once again still in panic, the fragment rock is inching in his face as he is completely immobile.That voice had reminded him that he had to calm himself however, he has to slow down his rapid heart rate to a reasonable rate to be able clear his mind. Esai had a focus that he does have the ability to do something that only he can do. The Messenger's Instrument could only work if he has no doubts at all.

Ironic that this very metamorphic crushing doom is symbolic of his doubts that are literally crushing him. He must replace doubt and fear with faith and bravery into his heart as warm light goes through him like a warm embrace. His strength is amplified while pushing up the collapsed plateau so Esai can stand up with his own two feet while he speaks with authority.

"I order you to create a gap that can leap away from this dreadful place." Esai was holding up with his might.

It was subtle as the collapsed fragment rock shifted a part for a small hole where he stood as light from the outside shines as this was his cue to leap upward with such speed. Whizzing as Esai's spiky hair flowed backward as he rose through the seemingly endless depths of rock layers, that was merely a minute when he felt a hot air as it was soaring thousand feet as he saw Samuel from an overhead view. Samuel staring back at Esai as implying should have been out several minutes ago. Esai gathers his Vida energy, waves his hand that flowing amber glows as a ribbon of light as Esai focuses into Vida Multi-Missiles as it rains down projectiles of lights upon Samuel as he just stands there he waves his hands as challenging Esai.

Clashes of Vida energy flashes light sparkle as water Samuel stood as there was an invisible barrier protecting him as each shot deflected side to side as the plateau exploded to pieces.While Esai is losing air time as Esai going to end this with his desperate move as he clasps his carpals together as quickly gathering Vida energy into a sphere of energy.

"VIDA BLAST!"Esai screamed as a blast of energy shot at Samuel.

Bright amber light shines brighter and goes closer until it makes its impact with Samuel with a sonorous sound as clashing Vida Blast as it deflects once again. That barrier is still protecting him. Esai is not going to stop until he breaks its barrier as he shouts "Vida Blast times two!" Another surge of beam line widens that begins to pour like rushing waterfalls.As the ground kicks up dust like a force of pressure amounting up.

The ground fracturing from the blast however Samuel remains immovable and arrogantly smiles the whole time.Esai did not take any chances as he screams "VIDA BLAST TIMES THREE!" As the Blast widens further that completely engulfs Samuel that the pressure is so great that the ground imploded.

Esai felt that was enough as he landed on the ground feeling as the blast dissipated, exhausted as his clothes were so tattered that he barely retained his pants and became his new shorts. Esai fatigue and exhaustion washes over him as his lungs breathing heavily as spoke out loud "Please be down that is all I have...." Esai looks around the environment from the aftermath that surrounds him.

There was new carvings that made new sculptures from the Esai's Vida Blast had cause which were some brought to ruin the plateaus as there was enormous holes like swiss cheese while that ridges had now became ridge arches as for the pillars now became new plateau plates that been smoothed out from this fight. It felt like this was the first time that this place had been interacted with for thousands of years.In a strange way Esai made his mark upon this terrain it is a shame that had come from a violent outcome.

Hope this is not a shadow thing to come as Esai dreadfully thought as seeing up in the air the dust clouds had been slowly clear from robust battle as Esai had to witness passing his test as if he truly passed. Anticipation runs through his mind as he waits to see as the dust cloud from all the dust completely levels and remains on the dryland. The climate of this place is scorchingly hot as it makes him beg for water as his lips are dehydrated from desert's heat as he sweats from his brow and entire body that is covered with sedimentary dust. Esai does not remember the last time when he had a shower because he smelled body odor as he took a whiff.

The dust was very hazy as Esai squinted his eyes to get a better view from this distance as there was some lingering as the dry air blew all the dust away. The moment that had finally come his eyes widened with complete disbelief a negative frame fractured his assumptions. Esai remained still as the dust had settled the matter as Esai could not hide his surprise that such feelings would betray him.

"Never tell your enemy information about your limit." Samuel coldly spoke.

Samuel had remained untouched; no scorch marks, no scratch, no speck of dust on him. Just flawless as his cloak flows sideways the dry breeze way as his uneven spiky hair flow with such class just puts Esai to shame as Samuel vanishes

Esai got kicked to the ground as it broke his ribs, confidence shattered as the pain realization though his body as reality hits him in such a cruel matter as he wails weakly. Samuel had already grown tired of this "Esai do me a favor laid there and die already." as he stood over whilst Esai wanted to sleep there forever.

Esai said as strenuous a struggle as his body literally telling him to give up as his body does not want to further pain anymore as he grasps and reaches for the straws "I...gave...e-everything I got…"Esai vainly reaches the sun.

Samuel could not help to feel pity "Boy you took too many hits to the head. You think giving everything you have is enough? Truly you are a fool I gave you credit for."Samuel shook his head with disappointment.

Samuel mercilessly spoke the truth "You think all these tests are something that you can retake like you are in a school? Think again you idiot! These tests are actually to see how you would handle real enemies; they would have ended you! Karren would tear you apart without mercy! Shai would not give an opportunity to begin a fight! Ana would have vaporized you! As for me, I will not give you an illusion for you to achieve an actual victory!" Samuel veins popping out forehead and neck.

Samuel with anger "You think these blessings and miracles can last forever until you meet me which is such a great curse to you!" Esai could not move anymore as Samuel berated him "I AM DEFINITION OF AN UNWINNABLE SITUATION! I CAN DECIDE HOW YOU LIVE AND DIE!" Esai could not physically cry, only his spirit could only wept to convey his emotion.

Samuel mocks "Go ahead cry, it will not change your situation!" Esai's mind finally accepted the truth "I knew that from that very beginning that I did not stand a chance! The worst part that I went through with it without--" At that moment everything went black.

At first there was a flickering light then at once it vanished. Esai woke up on the alleyway, everything a bit fuzzy on another sector of the Galaxy. The last thing he was doing was training and learning about teleporting with Karren and Anarosa by doing exercises by teleporting one point to another.He had been doing that for a week straight was exhausting for Esai. Karren and Anarosa would not be so patient with him while Samuel and Shai would be talking about Esai's progress being slow.

"COME ON ESAI THAT SHOULD BEEN SIMPLE FOR A TODDLER WOULD GET IT BEFORE YOU!" Karren demonstrates teleporting with rudeness.

"Sorry Karren…"Esai lowered his head in embarrassment.

Whenever Esai tries to concentrate he would end up in the bottom of the lake, another attempt he would end up in the middle of the desert, and his latest attempt of teleporting that he nearly got impaled by a stalagmite in the underground cave. Anarosa would critique Esai that he got an aptitude for it but his mind intends to wander off.

"You certainly have the potential for it, however I can't say the same for your mind." Anarosa flicks Esai's forehead for his lacking concentration which gives Esai a bump.

"Why do you think we do these accursed exercises so you do not end up in these situations like you did?"Karren cursed while pointing out things.

"If you have misaligned while trying to teleport to another planet you would be spaced where no one could see you. You would be too far from range for anyone to sense." Anarosa scolded while that was happening Samuel noticed that Esai trembled and turned pale when mentioning the word "Spaced" as he would rag on him "What wrong Esai? You act like you have been spaced before." As they all examined Esai's face looking paler.

Samuel laughs at Esai's misfortune while this upsets Esai because he nearly died because Tani Dark had thrown him to space back on Earth. Even Karren, Shai, and Anarosa laughed with their brother. Esai had recently found out that they are quadruplets which is rather annoying because they made fun of him every chance especially when he messed up. Esai wants to do something else like practicing martial arts. However, it was bad that they would purposely teach improper techniques just to see him pull a muscle. Esai had enough that he would sit down angrily.

"Hey what with the sour face Esai?"Anarosa sat right next to Esai.

Esai could not help but to feel insulted by her insincerity as Esai folded his arms with annoyance while narrowing his eyes at her "So why all of you mistreated me? I do not understand at all, Anarosa." while he maintains eye contact with her.

"It is quite simple if I were a Darkbringer could not teleport a simple spot that would be subject to be made fun of and mistreated for it is one most basic thing for any Darkbringer to do."Anarosa explained plainly.

Then it hits him as he realizes what she is saying, "Are you saying that if I could not teleport properly that I will not receive proper training?" Anarosa nonchalantly shrugs as they both stand up "Well we shall see depending on your diligence." As she teleported away. Esai went back to training to teleport as they travel in Alpha-X. This is the first time that he got to see the spaceship clearly as it was parked in a wide meadow field. The ship has shining obsidian metal while having these yellow neon plating that place four corners of the x that angular triangle shapes while on the up top had a yellow sharp crest x design is same with the bottom. Its length is about hundred twenty feet and twenty feet high of the Alpha-X which is a reasonable size for a small group.

Esai could not recall what occurred about his final test whenever he brought up this subject to Samuel about what happened between them. Samuel would scowl disgruntledly at Esai whenever he mentions it. Basically Samuel told Esai had passed the test only just because he had help. The lesson that Esai was supposed to take to heart is even all his blessing and his quote on quote "best" will not save him if he encounters someone who is much more powerful than Esai that he has to prepare for inevitable death.

"Inevitable death? Don't I always face that regardless when it comes to walks of life?" Esai answers rhetorical questions.

Esai got a vague impression that whatever happened in that test was not fairly settled. These journals were very old that Esai is reading that belongs to his grandfather and biological father while inside a compartmentalized ship Alpha-X where Samuel, Karren, Shai, and Anarosa are sitting by movable comfortable chairs by stationary holo computers while these overview transparency seeing outside which exactly the meadow that are currently landed.

How they entered the ship was fascinating that this ship was intangible by simply walking into Alpha-X however this ship is very intelligent it can tell who is friendly and hostile while Samuel, Karren, Shai, and Anarosa had to go underneath the ship as it was conditioned. As for Esai could go however he wants, almost like it recognizes him. Esai was told by Shai that interior layout can transform however he desires to make it comfortable. As the ship lifted up seamlessly as it went up to the sky in a matter of seconds then in minutes while all pilots and co-pilots did the calculations.

The ship went at a ludicrous speed as the space twisted like a tunnel like a scroll as Alpha-X passed through stars, nebulous, celestial prisms, and empty void. It was something to behold as going on the roller coaster. This left Esai breathless from seeing the glory of the universe's grand venue.Esai never saw so many things passing by such light and darkness roaming away fluently with grace.When seeing such displays make Esai truly blessed just to see how incredibly fast they are.

Alpha-X had made its voyage as it was one those moments if one blinks would miss it as the ship had decelerated so smoothly that it was unexpected that he assumed it seemed natural as Esai once again returned to a normal state where all the stars are shining brightly and remain still.

"What kind of ship is this?"Esai stood there dumbfounded with the awesomeness of the Alpha-X ship.

"Silly boy this is Alpha-X, one of the fastest spacecraft in existence. There is no ship that can bend space and go at instantaneous speed without using a warp drive." Shai proclaims proudly as Esai just needs to sit by the passenger seat to take it all in.

Esai was reading these journals that were left behind by his grandfather and his biological father where they were left behind where his test was last taken place by a badland planet that was at the edge of the universe. Hidden place called the Hall of the Messengers where the previous Messengers have archived and kept all the documents,history, family genealogy, and much information that Esai could not list them all. Samuel took Esai to a hidden passage of the canyon that is well hidden even with Esai's spiritual senses when it is a well blended slot canyon that can be easily missed was abstruse; there was an intangible that can be walkthrough like see through metal door. When Samuel pointed to the initial scan that examined the Messenger as well the keeper of secrets who are trusted to enter this place.

The door opens sideways as it reveals a stainless, otherworldly steel floor while a hexagon looking hallway ceiling has gold line lights give off incandescent that holds a cryptic and ancient feeling which is something intimidating to Esai while the light of this area highlights his face. Esai does feel a bit cold for the ventilation of the air here. He is only wearing his torn up pants that are his new shorts and his torso exposed. Esai hopes that he will get a new set of clothes.Samuel shows the way while Esai follows behind as he wanders his sight around this place for the hallway is long that goes on for five minutes.

Until there main corridor as they stop in the middle while the door behind them seals off which made Esai flinch while Samuel is indifferent about it for he was aware of it. Surrounding this area has power fusion shining blue hexagonal design lines into the structure of this place that harmonious sound from power fusion. Four Cylinder advanced looking elevator while on the side of it there was a stairway that led somewhere.

"Esai go down the stairs, it will lead you to the library as for me I have to prepare something that will take a few minutes and need to be taken care of. I will meet you later." Samuel pressed the button as he had arrived on time as walked in and entered.

"Alone?"Esai feels nervous about wandering off alone in this mysterious place.

"Yeah? Got a problem with that?" Samuel narrows his eyes with annoyance.

"Yes, I don't want to be alone."Esai pleads with Samuel before the elevator goes down, ignoring his discomfort.

Esai sighs with annoyance as reluctantly goes downstairs while each step echoes its metallic chimes. His hand is on the stairs bar railing as the area was dimly lit with light on the stairs, these tall structures that are obscured from his sight it was hard to tell because of recent tests he was physically weak as well spiritually exhausted. Once he reached the ground level in that instant the place lit up unexpectedly which caused Esai to cover his face because of the blinding light. Once his eyes adjusted the brightness of the light as look around it was an exhibition of relics, statues, and display cases of items.

"IT IS A MUSEUM DOWN HERE!" Esai shouted excitedly.

Esai went to see with eagerness seeing statues of men and women in fighting stance while manipulating the respected elements such as: fire, wind, earth, and water. This reminds him of the eastern mythology about North, South, East, and West from the ebook that he had read.

Esai guessed some of these must belong to certain eras as he looked around the displays with wonder and marveling. Went to examine more of the displays as he went to another section the show stature women in prayer that surround in the open display while in the center there was a wearing tunic man statue who is being cuddled by a woman in poncho trench coat with a panama hat grieving for the man that she killed with that knife that is laying right next to her. However, something about this man was strange, that man was content about his death which is unnerving. He needed more context about it so leave that room to show different time periods and like there were themes to it; rise and fall of great civilizations.

Stumble into a labyrinth of a library which has massive columns of book shelves which are towering him as if he were an ant. Walking to see that these shelves have preserving displays of scrolls and books that are neatly organized. These drones are cataloging them to check if this priceless information has not degraded. Esai was not aware there were machines in here, although he can sense its spiritual presences just barely detectable. Until Esai bumped into a desk library without paying attention to his surroundings, these have hologram panels like there would be people studying here if there were anyone here.

Before Esai was going to leave, until these journals caught his attention and took a holding of it.There was note for him and these are for him as it read "Esai Kinzuma my son, I leave these journals that belongs to me and your grandfather that it will help you to understand the current situation or the least explain my actions. I am sorry that I have not been a good father. I do not know if you would forgive me or not, that is up to you to decide. I am hopeful that you will learn from my mistakes so you do not make the same mistakes that I did. Pray that you take these to heart as insincere for me to say that I love you very much and I wished it would not turn out the way it did and I pray for your success my son." Esai read out loud as it was signed by his biological father Rehigh Alzuki.

Esai had many mixed feelings about his biological father that had not been good because he was not always there only one time when he was three years old. He took the journals with him as there was a convenient bag there for him to put in the journals. There was light up on the floor of that lucent green path indicating a guidance light.So Esai went to follow the guidance line as he passed by the lines of the library book shelves as lead an elevator as it was flashing at the bottom.Esai press the button as the elevator door open before him as he walks in as the door slides in as the elevator heard a soft humming as went down the lower levels.

There were no windows as it was a capsule like cylinder while having elevator light shine overhead as Esai just stood there shivering a bit since his clothes were torn up.Probably after a few minutes had passed the elevator had reached its level as it opened to the space docking bay as he see a ship with a group that are waiting for him. Samuel, Karren, Shai, and Anarosa are waiting for him to show up.

"There you are, you took your time."Karren spoke from afar as Esai was walking toward the group.

"You do smell putrid, take a shower kid."Shai brandishing her hand tells Esai to keep his distance.

"I do need a new set of clothes and a shower would sound awesome now." Esai beams mention the shower.

"Well before we do that there is a thing we have concerning you. A covenant of this place is called the Hall of the Messengers; it is a very secret place that no one knows about." Samuel steps in as raise his right hand.

Esai learns about this place about the utmost significance of this place as he made a Covenant that is solemn and sacred to keep it a secret. While he made another covenant that whoever he trusts can enter this place as with that there was a strong breeze that shook everyone. They stare at Esai like he was an insane person as Anarosa fiercely stares with her crimson pink eyes "What covenant you made now will carry weight, you are responsible whoever enters this place, that something should not be taken lightly." Anarosa sternly warned as Esai gulped.

Esai took a long deserved shower after that and has a gray zip up jumpsuit that he has to wear. They say it is a special suit that can protect him as well as having a limited pocket dimension for him to store items. Esai wore these black slip-on shoes that feel comfortable to wear on his feet as well as being special and highly durable. Almost nearing his end of his recollection of his memory as he was trying to remember that very last event. Esai was making some progress with his teleporting as after days doing what they asked where to teleport. They are on a rocky ocean planet where the ocean waters smoothly clash against the rocks. Since Esai can teleport better Karren, Shai, and Anarosa can properly train Esai however, for Samuel was not interested in training him as he was going to do his own training.

Anarosa taught Esai a form called Kata which is a meditative form that helps him to be in tune with his body and spirit. Esai found it to be relaxing following the movement of Anarosa who was just in sync as it was therapeutic as now they began to somewhat treat him a little better even properly taught correct techniques for Esai to apply basic forms for him to practice to heart. Anarosa had taught Esai to have better control with Vida energy which is the most difficult to master.

"I would have preferred if you would use your spiritual abilities because you barely use it, which is something that you need to develop and work on the most." Anarosa brushes her short hair as she invites Esai to use his spiritual abilities.

Esai knows how to use his spiritual senses although Anarosa shook her head that she was asking a little bit more than that. As she demonstrated with her hand out a resolution blue light which was the spiritual energy's aura that is a warm and calm color. As Esai can sense what that is and what it looks like as Esai did what she did he concentrated to bring out the same energy however, could not release the same aura that Anarosa did as she folded her arm impatiently for him to release it. Esai tries to force out vigorously with the hope that his muscles would tighten with contractions for many minutes. Nothing would come out as Esai had to stop because he was just wasting energy.

"What you are doing that should have been easy, you have untapped amounts of spiritual energy to draw from."Anarosa uses her spiritual sense to see what is going on with Esai's spirit.

She examines thoroughly for five minutes seeing Esai's spirit like flowing light however when searching deeper within Esai's spirit there was a series of spirals kanjis that is most complex of No-Kai, Nu-Kai, Ne-Kai, and Ni-Kai of sealing formula that she ever seen. After she stopped examining she was silent and never mentioned it again. This brought Esai anxiety and worry about his use of his spiritual abilities. Now Esai recalls it has been nearly four months since he was away from Earth so howbeit felt like years.

The next day Esai intends to aim higher this time than completing a reasonable goal by teleporting to another planet.

"That would be unwise. That would be like going for a full sprint without warming up." Shai advises against that as Esai seriously gazes right back at her.

"I want to overcome my fear of space that has been bothering me, I am tired of having it."Esai, determined as Shai narrows her eyes, is irritated with the boy.

Karren, Shai, and Anarosa are still against it because he has not mastered the basics yet. As for Samuel waltz in that he encourages it out of spite "He is eager to die, let him do it." as the cloud roams ominously.

They all left Esai to his own devices since he did not want to master the basics as they went on their training while he was meditating. Before they had arrived on this planet there was another planet that was a hundred thousand kilometers away from this planet that was like a moon like planet that has plant life forest.As Esai is in a meditation position as he thought about teleporting required memorization rather than concentration. Esai uses a technique called mental imaging that was taught by Karren for the purpose that he can visualize a person or object of his intent to find. Calming his mind and body to attempt to vibrate for his body is physically going to transcend one point to another.

While his teachers usually watch Esai, they are now too engrossed with their sparring. That Karren and Samuel were going at it fiercely as Shai and Anarosa spectated their siblings as they tore up the seas as they moved quickly as they used their spiritual abilities to use electricity that sent a crackling sound in the air.As Samuel held up his hand to absorb the lightning as Karren use dark spiritual energy sphere that surrounding Samuel as it is encircles him as chases him that is an explosive reaction if one made contact. Arrogance runs Samuel's face as Karren despites that look as always means he is looking down upon her.

"Always hated that look on your face brother!"Karren roars as she sets off the dark spiritual spheres.

Massive explosion that engulfs that sky as dark purple light as shockwaves as waves of ocean water that splashes on the rocky beach. Esai was in a deep state of meditation that he was unaware of what was going on.As the dark purple light dissipated instantly as she was feeling proud of annihilating her brother expecting bloody up or even scorching until she heard her brother voice behind her.

"Are you rusty sis?Because I had expected more from you.Gotten lazy you have." Unmarked from that explosion Samuel dissed his sister.

Karren gritted her teeth with anger while wisping away; she vanished as well Samuel that there were clashes as shockwaves booming thunderous claps that is deafening sound. Esai remained motionless until there was a flash vision showing a place that was completely unknown to him. There was a strong impression crying for his help. There was a sudden surge of spiritual energy coursing through his body.

This caught his teachers' attention before they could reach Esai, he had vanished before Shai could get him.There was no trace of him as Samuel, Karren, Shai, and Anarosa were cursing themselves for not paying attention to the boy. As they actively searched by using their spiritual sensing since they were reluctant to memorize Esai's spiritual presence. They are searching all over the planet they are currently temporarily staying. It took them five minutes to completely search the entire planet as they all returned.

"He is not at the bottom of the sea."Shai returned to report.

"Not in the cave impaled by the stalagmite." Karren's foul mood appeared.

"I don't even think he's even on the planet anymore." Anarosa widened her spiritual senses.

"He was not even on the moon that was eager to shoot for, I checked every inch of that area. He is nowhere to be found."Samuel is feeling the effects of the curses as well as his sisters.

They have violated a covenant of not protecting the Messenger however, the curse had not fully activated because it had given the impression that the boy is still alive and well. Although they are not completely exempt for they must find Esai immediately if they don't, the weight of the sins curse will harm them as warning as they are on their knees feeling harmful sensations of the sins they carried. Samuel got it the worst because he did not bother to train the boy nor cared for the boy.

"THAT LITTLE--!"Samuel was about to swear profanity before the curse punished him further for insulting the Messenger.

"Heh...can't have your mouthing off huh brother." Karren smiles while she is wincing in excruciating agony.

"SHUT UP!" Samuel is enraged about what happened.

It lingered for an hour until it finished Samuel's lesson. His lesson was completely done, Karren was about insulting him more until there is a strong demonic presence with ill-intent threatening her as his eyes blaze with animosity as confront his sister.

"If you usher another word, I will rip your throat out."Samuel promised if Karren dares.

This silent Karren temporally Shai and Anarosa did not involve themselves with their older siblings rivalry goes back to when they were kids.Which can be annoying but they often want to prove who is the strongest in the family. Right now they have pressing matters to deal with searching the Messenger as they phase through Alpha-X immediately went to search for Esai Kinzuma.

Everyone is silent as they all sit down while their brother's demonic presence looms which can be unpleasant and miserable especially when Samuel is filled with hatred which can make him unapproachable and even impossible to communicate with him once he is in that state. There was Esai who actually was a much friendlier presence as well, pleasant to be around as it shows they are going to be like this until they find the Messenger.
