Flashback 14

Billie knew that her daughter was highly skilled in management and business. He knew because most of her teachers were praising her non-stop as she was the most outstanding student in the entire campus. She out-shone her seniors and some even tried to curry favors from her but during those times, she remained indifferent.

She tried to distance herself and avoid conflict but some people could not even understand the word, PEACE.

Her half-sister, Lilith was one of those people who pestered her relentlessly. She orchestrated things in the dark hoping that Belle would fall and crawl back to her, asking for help.

Belle could not help but sigh because she had an idiotic little sister. Her plans were like a child's play. She could only foresaw the ending and the events would happen in chronological order. She did not want to play with her petty tricks so she avoided her like plague.

Lilith was dead set on destroying her. She kept spreading rumors about her. One of that was having an affair with a male school teacher in the campus.

"Such a b*tch!! No wonder, she kept placing as first because she had a lover. Hmpf! Such a white lotus!"

"I thought she's capable and intelligent. I was wrong. Such a shameless woman. She deserves to be kicked out from our campus."

As Lilith orchestrated things in the dark, countless rumors floated around her but she did not care and it made Lilith fume with anger.

She wanted to erase Belle's existence in the Yang family. She wanted to have all of them including the attention of their great grandfather. So she told Billie about the rumors on Belle.

"Father, I'm so ashamed that she's my sister. I can't take it anymore. My friends laughed at me because I am related to her. I know that sister is just young and made mistakes but I can't take it anymore. Please Dad, do something." She pleaded Billie to do something to Belle and he complied which made Lilith more elated.

Billie summoned Belle to his study before he do some things. He would not forgive this kind of behavior.

Ever since he walked back in the doors of the Yang household, he became an upright person and he suddenly had those things called, morals.

"You... How can you be so shameful? Having an elicit relationship with a teacher? What kind of daughter are you? I am so ashamed being your father! Look, what you did to your little sister's reputation? You ruined it because of your shamefulness! From now on, you don't belong in this house and you are free to go wherever you go and forget that you had a family! You are a shame!"

Billie bellowed. He could not believe that Belle would be so daring, having a relationship with her teacher. He felt disgusted by it.

As Lilith busily schemed for Belle's demise, the latter on the other hand had already interned at their father's company and had been performing great.

Their grandfather had endless praises for her because he felt that his grand daughter lacked a familial love. True enough, every time Belle got praised by her great grand father, she performed well in the company.

Her father threw her out of the house and by doing this, she was delighted. Why not? She would be glad that she was thrown out because she wanted to have her own life, far from those hypocrites.

Belle moved out from the Yang ancestral house. She chose the most prominent penthouses in Beijing. Knowing her father and step mother, they will not sit back and let her handle things in the company. They might be even planning her demise. That was her home during those years of her battle with her family.

Billie could only swallow down his anger and hate towards his daughter. He could not been happier than anybody else could because his company gradually recovers its losses and thanks to Belle's capabilities. Even so, he did not thank her despite of her effort. He thought that it was only right for Belle to perform her best because she's his daughter.

A year has passed and the company was able recover one half of it's losses and it was quite an achievement.

The old man was so pleased that he showered Belle with his attention and his love. He did not care about Billie and his other grandchildren, to him, Belle would suffice. So, he came into a conclusion that he would make her his successor.

After five years, the old man announced that Belle would be his sole heir. His achievements and his entire wealth would fall unto Belle's hands.

Upon learning this, Billie blew his top off. He was so angry that he colluded with the underworld just to assassinate Belle and the old man.
