MATHEW OF DENICE GROUP

Magret stood there almost moved to tears after what Julie said.Thinking back, she felt good that she gave Julie a chance to work at her noodle shop ten years ago.

The next day, Julie and Magret arrived early at the Museum.Even though they had no idea of the person who wanted to meet them , Julie had a wierd feeling about it.

As Julie had already instructed Nessa through Magret to be more respectful towards the guests, Nessa warmly welcomed the two men and let them into Julie's office.

Julie was already with Magret in the room when the two men walked in. Both gentlemen looked to be in their early twenties. They also looked like a boss and his assistant. Although the second guess was true, the boss had this aura which made Julie both relaxed and tensed at the same time.

"Hello, welcome to our Museum" Magret said with a radiant smile.

" Hello, we are pleased to be here" the assistant Tony said warmly. Tony looked like he was in his early twenties.He was tall and handsome.He also wears eye goggle's.

" Please have a seat" Magret added as she pointed to the sofa. After that, Magret and Julie also sat across them.

" Hello, Am Julie CEO of this museum and she is Magret, the company's deputy Manager" Julie said with a smile.

" Hello, Am Mathew President of the Denice cooperations and he is Tony, my assistant" Mathew also said with a smile.

" Should we get into business?" Julie said calmly.

" Oh yes. Tony, hand her the proposal" Matthew said with a smile.

After carefully reading through the proposal, she handed it to Magret. Magret also took some time to read it but after she finished, her facial expression changed a little bit.

" Mr Mathew about the proposal, I don't think we can really go through with it. Our main investor is currently very good and we are not planning on changing investors but we can cooperate on different projects in the future if you want" Julie said politely after sometime.

" I knew you would say that, but can you think about it again?" Mathew said with a smile.

"Am sorry but I have already made up my mind" Julie said again.

" okay I won't push it. Then I hope you keep your word on the future collaboration" Mathew said calmly.

" I will bear that in mind" Julie said politely.

"Then would you mind giving me your contact details, I would like to be a friend. it will also help us when dealing with business later" Mathew said with a warm smile.

" okay, it wouldn't be a problem" Julie said.

After exchanging contacts, Mathew and his assistant left the museum.

" Tell me, I don't really think he really came for the proposal but came for you instead." Magret asked.

" Why do you think so?" Julie asked quite perplexed.

"Don't you think it's obvious, He definitely knows that we are cooperating with the Thompson's group who are the best in the field of investment. who wouldnt cooperate with them. there is something fishy about this" Magret said with worry.

" I guess we should be careful then" Julie said after a long silence.

" yes I think so too" Magret said.

NICK'S SIDE

" Theo, tonight arrange a dinner for miss Julie and I." Nick said to his assistant before entering the office.

" Okay, I will inform Nessa about it" Theo said with a smile when they finally entered Nick's office.

After a few business discussions between the two, Theo finally left the office.

" Miss Julie, I got a call from Nick's assistant saying that Nick will pick you up later" Nessa said to Julie.

" Okay I get it. How's you and Lucy's graduation going" Julie asked calmly.

" We will write our final exam in three weeks time but currently everything is good" Nessa replied.

" ok then one week before the exams, the two of you can take a leave then after the graduation if you feel like coming back then our door is always open for both of you" said Julie. Julie actually said this because she knew that most college graduates look for better works so she wanted them to feel comfortable about their choices later.

"Thanks miss Julie, we will surely return because this place isn't just a workplace but to us it's like a home and all of the staffs here are also our family" Nessa said with a lot of emotion.

" Okay then we will always wait for your return. Good luck" Said Julie with a warm smile.

" thank you Miss" Nessa said before she left the office.

Six pm that day, a black BMW stood in front of the museum. In the car was Nick in his suit. After sometime, Julie finnaly came to the car. As their eyes met, they couldn't guess the emotions they were currently having.

Nick held the door for Julie to get inside the passenger seat of the car before taking the drivers seat for himself. He then took a bauquet from the back seat and handed it over to Julie.

Julie was very excited as it was the first time that someone gave her flowers.They chatted throughout their twenty minutes drive until they finally reached the designated place.

"Congratulations on your success at the art showcase " Nick said to her in a warm tone.

" Thank you so very much. If it wasn't for your guidance, I wouldn't have made it" Julie also said with admiration.

Just then the waiter came to collect their order.

After the dishes were served, the waiters left the private room. As the two of them started eating, The whole room became really quiet as only the sound of the cutlery could be heard.

"So how far with the work." Nick asked casually.

" It's currently good but as the melancholic mountain made a name, many buyers are setting up a price to purchase it so we decided to do an auction for it. we will also add other valuables during the auction" Julie said calmly.

" I also think it's a very good idea" Nick said as he took a glance at Julie's face.
