found a Friend

 "Alicia smiled as she walked through the bustling city streets, despite feeling homesick. While she missed the trees and flowers of the meadow, she was determined to find the stolen crystal and avenge her mother's death. She knew that somewhere in this human world, the answers she sought were waiting for her.As she passed by a group of people chatting animatedly on a street corner, she heard someone mention a word that made her stop in her tracks: magic. She listened closely as the group continued their conversation, speaking of strange phenomena and unexplained events. She felt a spark of excitement as she wondered if these people knew more than they were letting go .Suddenly, someone bumped into Alicia, jolting her out of her thoughts. She looked down to see a girl about her age, with messy hair and a book clutched in her hand. The girl looked up at her with wide, curious eyes and said, "I'm so sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going." Alicia smiled, feeling a connection with this girl who was also clearly out of place in the busy city. "It's okay, no harm done," she said."The girl looked relieved and started to walk away, but then she stopped and turned back to Alicia. "I couldn't help but notice that you seemed interested in what those people were saying about magic. Do you believe in that sort of thing?" Alicia hesitated, unsure of how to answer. Finally, she said, "yes I kind of believe that there is magic and mythical creatures in the world." The girl's eyes lit up. "I'm the same way! I love learning about all the strange and mysterious things in the world.
