The group had crept over to the location of the voice, careful not to make a sound as to not wake the sleeping cyclops. She wasn't Newt, but Sharina knew what they were up against immediately. The name 'Polyphemus' rung a bell in her head. Newt then briefly explained what they may be up against, and a wave of anxiety rushed over her.

She had read Homer's Odyssey, poems dedicated to Odysseus, a Greek king that went through countless perils. She didn't know about other legends or heroes in the myths, but she guessed Odysseus would have encountered the most trouble in his lifetime. But through it all, he managed to pull through thanks to Athena, Hermes, and his own quick wit.
