Guilt

He looked at Nina with a frown as if disgusted by her attitude. Rolling his eyes, he went inside, tightening his fist.

"I am sorry!" Nina whispered and tears rolling down her cheeks. "It's ok! Will go inside." Czar murmured, taking her inside and putting her into a chair.

"Sorry! Sorry!" he sobbed profusely. The fair pink cheeks turned red as she cried. "It's fine, Nina. I have checked it, no one noticed it. They won't misunderstand you."

"Who said I was crying because of the villagers?" she yowled without stopping shedding down tears.

Czar and Tala abruptly turned at each other with confusion, not knowing why she was whining non-stop. "Are you upset that Ace scolded you?" Tala asked peeping into her face. Czar also felt that it might be the reason and nodded his head, gazing at her.

But Nina shook her head and cleaned her snot to her sleeve. "Then, why are you crying?" Czar asked, kneeling down beside her chair.

"I....misunderstood....Ace," she replied, choking back her tears as she spoke.

"What?" Czar and Tala shouted, learning the reason for her endless weeping. "You can continue crying. Let's go out, Czar!" Tala angrily said and left the house. Coming out, he hit the wall hard with his leg and appeared intense that his forehead formed deep wrinkles and his nostrils flared. 'I thought that not exhibiting and forgetting my feelings towards her would help in the village improvement. These guys don't seem to care about that; they are somehow trying to create a mark for them. Nina also seems to be attracted to both of them; this will leave her in an uncomfortable position after becoming Alpha's wife.'

As he was hitting the wall, stamping the ground and doing whatnot with his feet, Czar came out. "What are you so tensed about?"

"Can't you see that something is going on between Ace and Nina? I don't want the village to burn down and my parents being insulted when they find about them."

'It's time to bring out the innocent child character and divert.' "What?? Village....burn down!! What are you speaking?"

"Ufff...I don't understand when and how you will behave. I mean that.....they...l..o..ve each other." Tala shouted the first sentence but whispered and dragged the last one, looking around.

"Didn't you watch them fighting? They have been fighting seen both met. Can't you see that Nina is also wailing because of him?"

"Yes! That's the point!! Suppose we think what you said was right. Shouldn't she scream back or at least cry since she was scolded? But, she is continuously crying because she misunderstood Ace."

'God!! From when did his guy start using his rusted brain?' "She might be feeling regretful for misjudging him from the last three days and unhappy for treating him poorly."

"Aaaaaa!!! You seem to be right!" 'Is this Czar pretending childish? He seems to be dealing perfectly fine with all issues. Why is he doing that in front of everyone? Whatever that doesn't concern me, unless until he doesn't hurt anyone.'

"Clear! Let's go inside!"

As they were about to step in, The dining table caught his attention, remembering how Nina drank from Ace's glass. 'The glass must be nearer. Don't think much! Ace wouldn't do such a thing!'

Nina had stopped crying and was writing. Her cheeks and eyes appeared still red, and she seemed to be working in order to stop herself from remembering the incident. However, her eyes were watery and leaked droplets of saltwater onto her cheekbones.

"Didn't we plan to go to the beach?" Tala asked, hoping to lift up her mood. But there wasn't any reply from her. She was continuously scribbling something on the paper without a break. "Where did you get so much matter about fire lilies that you can't stop writing?" Tala snatched the book from Nina's lap.

'Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry.....'

There were about a hundred sorry's written in the book. "Are you mad?"

Czar peeped into the book but didn't understand what was written. "What does it say?" Czar asked, looking at Tala's frustrated face.

"Sorry!"

"What are you sorry for?"

Sighing to his dumb question, "She wrote sorry many times."

"What? Nina, if you are that guilty, why don't you say sorry once to Ace instead of telling this paper a hundred times?" Czar said her calmly and soothingly.

"What are guys doing, standing there?" Ace's voice was heard from behind. Both stood like two statues beside Nina, not perceiving what they should do. As Ace's footsteps came nearer second by second, their heart was pumping blood ten times faster than his speed. When Ace was one step away from them, Nina pulled the book from Tala's hand and started pretending to work.

Ace's firm hands fell on their shoulders and moved them aside. Seeing Nina paper and the word 'Fire Lily' on the top, "You are helping her. Ok!

Czar and Ace's shoulders dropped as if a hundred kilos weight has been removed.

"Nina, I am sorry for vexing you. I shouldn't have spoken to you like that. On the verge of anger and frustration, I lost myself. Sorry!"

Observing that Nina isn't lifting her head up, "I know that you don't want to see my face. Sorry! I should have considered your feelings both in the morning and evening."

Nina ignoring made him feel rejecting and irritated by his own behaviour. As he turned to walked away from there, Czar poked Nina constantly to apologize and close the matter.

"I am sorry too," Nina confessed with a hoarse voice but didn't raise her head and face Ace. She felt remorseful and bitter about the way she was torturing him from the morning with her stupid assumptions.

Listening to her husky voice, Ace hurried and sat on his knees near her chair. "Look at me!" he requested, swallowing down his throat hard.

Nina shook her head, sniffing her nose hard. "Please don't look at me!" she pleaded, making all the guys laugh.

"Done!! We won't see you. Wash your face and hurry back." Ace replied, grinning and turned the boys along with him to the other side.

Nina jumped out of her chair immediately and rushed to the bathroom. "For how much time was she sobbing?"

"Since you left to your room."

"What? You mean the whole one hour?" Ace asked in shock. 'Did I hurt her to that extent? Were my words that harsh?'

Interrupting his thoughts, Czar remarked, "Don't even think that she was grieving because of you? She said that she was sad because she misunderstood you."

"Yes, Bro! Maybe she is guilty of badly behaving with you from the moment she woke up."

Nina walked towards them with a watery face. Her red eyes, pink cheeks and red lips showed how much she wept. As Nina stood in front of Ace, he put his hand forward, "Friends?"

Hearing that, her lips stretching a bit, and her tired eyes relaxed. "Yes!" she feebly replied and shook his hand.
