He looked at Victor standing in the corner without a word. Adam nodded his head towards Victor, who knelt down in front of him. Adam smiled at this and even when Victor did not receive any reward his loyalty did not change. Adam raised Victor's swordsmanship to lv10 and Horse Riding Max.

He checked his inventory and noticed 226500 horse riding points. Then he called Blond2 and whispered whether they had the skill to raid horses. To which She replied they have lv7 horse raiding. Then He looked at 2 of them with a knowing smile.

Both Blond looked at each other and kneeled before him. He placed his hands on their heads and raised their horse riding to Max. Then he placed a Mind Mark on Victor

He did not give them archery since they needed time to get used to swords first. He ordered them to train well. As we left, we headed for Pierce Mansion with the girls. And entered Clara's Room and Clara Blushed after seeing him and seeing her blushing face. He stood dazed for a moment until Tryston made a coughing noise which brought them both back to their scene.

After looking at Clara, Adam asked for people with different abilities to recruit. Then Clara looked at him and said that everyone without the blood line has a different kind of ability, which means every person has a different kind of ability.

Adam thought about his statement and asked about ability users with strong abilities with many limitations that make their abilities useless. He used Telepathy as an example. Because of their limitations, Clara was unsure what he would do with people with Unique gifts.

She heard a voice asking her to recruit them in his mind. To which she turned and stared at Adam in astonishment. She asked if you could extract those skills and use them in some way. She asked and Tryston suddenly sat up and glanced at Adam. Both of them stared at him as if he were fresh meat on the chopping board. Adam suddenly looked to his left towards the wall and hummed . Seeing Blond1,2 and Shadow1,2 appear in the shadows, Clara and Tryston were shocked because the other 2 do not have the appearance of shadow guards. Adam looked back at the scene and shook his head.

Suddenly he felt someone placing their hands on his both shoulders. He looked up to see Tryston on his left and Clara on his right smiling at him. Suddenly he felt shivers in his spine. He turned to look at Clara's Shadow, which was staring at him with red eyes.

He suddenly thought it was a bad idea to ask for help from Clara. He tried his most impressive smile and said "you look beautiful when you smile." Clara coughed slightly and said it wouldn't work for me. Could you please tell me what you did with the maid.

Tryston heard this and turned to Clara. Clara looked at Adam and asked how did you change her ability. Tryston felt he was missing something but followed along with her.

He had no choice but to smile and say well I found her ability and strengthened it so that its limitations would no longer apply. What you are saying is you can strengthen an ability . Adam nodded his head.

Tryston then looked at me and asked if he could strengthen the Pierce family bloodline or ability. To which Adam replied To upgrade a single ability one has to collect many points. Because an ability upgrade is not 1+1 =2 to change a grade, one has to add a lot of points to get to the next grade.

To Tryston it was an expected answer. If ability can be improved like it was nothing then that would be absurd. It will disturb the power balance.

Clara then took a notebook from the shelf in the corner and flipped it and showed it to Adam to check. That book was a collection of ability users under the Pierce family, as we can see their name, background and ability and its grade. Adam flipped through the notebook and selected 3.

Each has its own disadvantages: <<Scan >>, Earth Escape >>, and Shadow Run >>.

<<Scan-common>> helps in scanning items to show what the item is in text form. It cannot scan Tier 1 items.

<<Earth escape>> Hide and move under the soil like water, but you cannot breathe or see under dirt.

<< shadow run >> can make your shadow conscious and move but cannot touch or move Physical or elemental objects. You cannot share the shadow's vision. its completely loyal to the user.

Seeing the selection, Clara asked if you were planning to enhance these three? Adam nodded and Clara asked I can see why you want earth escape and scan. But why shadow run?

Adam smiled and replied, What do you think is in my shadows? The question asked gave Clara the answer. Because she cannot move her shadow, the shadow guards will always be on her shadow. They can only move between shadows when they are touch by each other. But if Adam can bend his shadow he will have the ability to move behind the enemy in battlefield or infiltration. Since the shadow has conscious then we don't even have to concentrate on it to move.

Clara now appreciated his ability for thinking that way. She asked him to return tomorrow to see the ability holders. Adam then asked if it would be possible to reinstate Flints and return to their barony. Clara looked at him questioningly.

The Flint family now belongs to me, so I can use their resources if they can get their barony back. Hearing his words Clara thought for a moment and replied we can reinstate his position but his wealth will not be compensated.

Adam did not mind because Mc could now make more money. By using telepathy, Adam summoned Victor to come with a carriage to Dino castle after leaving the mansion.

An hour later a carriage arrived and Butler informed Adam about Victor's arrival. Adam then asked the butler to bring him to the Sword Workshop (where he upgrades swords).

Adam took him to the sword upgrade room and Seeing Victor standing there he gave him 50 Gold to train the troops. He informed him to recruit another fifty next month as the first batch will near tier 1 then so they can train upcoming troops before leaving. Then he pointed at the 1250 swords , 250 spears , 100 bows to equip the troops for training. I will provide them with a knight sword soon.

Adam collected points as usual and went to the Alchemist and Blacksmith Association to check the swords made by the Blacksmith and the Potions made by the Alchemists. Well to be honest, our MC went to an association to gain more Professional Skills.
