Mystical Monsters
Each segment of the forty-meter-long creature oozed a green acidic poison, which seemed to disable its enemies and kill them. Cedric was unafraid as he met the Ebonwyrm head-on, deciding to use nothing but his fists and new physique.
The Ebonwyrm rushed forward, surrounding Cedric within its body and beginning to close the encirclement. Before the spikes could pierce through his body, Cedric jumped high to avoid the attack.
As if luring Cedric into a trap, the Ebonwyrm spat out poisonous darts toward him. Cedric raised his arms to block the attack, expecting a searing pain in his arms.
Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding!
The darts struck his arms and failed to penetrate his skin, making Cedric raise his brows in surprise. The Ebonwyrm seemed confused as its thousand eyes stared at him with bewilderment.
A strange warmth surged through his body, making Cedric feel stronger than before. As he landed on the ground, the Ebonwyrm whipped its body toward him.
