The Heavenly Academy (1)

"Right on time," I said as I opened the door, and the familiar room greeted me. It was small, with just a bed, a table, a mirror, and some small daily items.

I walked inside and threw myself onto the bed, as my body was sore and screaming with pain.

"That was a long day," I muttered to myself.

I lay on the bed, staring at the plain white ceiling with just a fan and a bulb.

"It's going to be my last day in this room... huh," I reminisced. "It would be a lie if I said I will miss it."

Today, it is 1/6. Currently, it is 9:32.

The academy will begin from tomorrow, 1/7.

And when I sleep in this room, the next time I open my eyes, I will be at The Heavenly Academy.

Currently, I was in one of the many apartments in the Human Empire, which was rented for me by the academy.

The Heavenly Academy is on an island whose location is completely secret. When I say secret, the number of beings who know its location would be no more than two digits. The Heavenly Academy is not called the Greatest Academy for no reason, and it was made clear in the novel why.

Obviously, I know its location.

Disregarding my thoughts, I checked my status for one last time.

In one of the many rooms of The Heavenly Academy, there lay a boy with gray hair who was sleeping peacefully.

After a while, his eyebrows quivered a little before he slowly opened his eyes, revealing his blue eyes.

Finding himself in an unfamiliar location, he didn't seem surprised. He placed his hands on his mouth before taking a big yawn.

"Haaaa."

The yawn released all of my sleep as I looked at my surroundings.

The room was much larger than the old one. I was sleeping in a comfy bed with an exquisitely designed table next to me and a window near the bed for an outlook. The room had other things like a study desk, chairs, sofas, a holographic panel that showed both time and date coming out from an oval ball, and a small library-like thing where books were kept.

Overall, it was quite good.

I stepped out of the bed and looked at the time.

It was "6:02 A.M."

The classes would begin at 7:30, so I should probably reach the class between 7:15 and 7:25.

"So, let's get this started."

Looking at the words above the doorway, I murmured.

'1' represents that the students here are all first-year, and 'A' represents it is section 'A.' There were up to third-year and 'A,' 'B,' and 'C' sections in each year, with each section having not more than 50 students, while some had less.

This meant The Heavenly Academy had only about 450 students in total.

When I said that The Heavenly Academy is an academy for geniuses, it didn't end there.

'Only True Awakeners can attend The Heavenly Academy.'

True Awakeners are Awakeners who can use Aether.

In this world, Aether is not the only energy. There are other energies like Mana, Aura, Spiritual Energy, Qi, Ki, Reiki, and many more. The combination of all these energies was called Aether.

The person who awakened with Aether is called a True Awakener, while those who awakened with energies like Mana, Aura, and others are called Fake Awakeners.

True Awakeners are inherently stronger than Fake Awakeners. Each time they make a breakthrough, their body, soul, and energy all make a huge improvement, while if a Fake Awakener awakened with Aura, only his body strength increases.
