Chapter 1 Burning Stake

It was evening, sounds of the crowd cheering with slander and pure hatred towards a certain person. On top of the platform in front of them was a girl that is tied up on a stake. Short lilac hair that had cut off, porcelain white skin, and a pair of bluish-purple sets of eyes. One could say she was an angel who fall from heaven. Sadly, she was a villainess that tried to kill her stepsister, the crown princess herself.

She did not shed any tears nor beg to be freed from judgment. As the priest chants his prayers for the girl's sin and protection for the kingdom's prosperity.

" Evelyn Gloriosa, do you pledge guilty of attempting murder of the crown princess of Celestia?", the priest asked the girl.

"Yes.", she looked down and confessed her faulty. This is it...she thought, after all, she did in the past after losing her mother and all her close loved ones. She can finally shut her eyes and meet them again.... maybe in hell.

" Stop!!!", someone shouts before the executioner can startup the fire by the future crown prince's order. Standing out among the crowd, a male in a cloak revealed himself. Those pair of fiery red eyes, lightly tanned skin, and white silver hair with a scar on his lips. The People in the crowd start to be silent and scared due to the man's big build and scary features.

"Zion?", she was shocked seeing her loyal knight stand there. Why is he here? Didn't i order him to leave this place? she thought worriedly. The prince yelled at the guard to attack the man and order them not to let him come any near the girl. After fighting off most of the guard with a single blow. Each step took him closer and closer to her, as he was about to untie the ropes. A tinge of pain starts to appear on the male abdomen, he looked down and saw a sword go through him.

"My Lady..." he looked at his lady with sadness in those red eyes and coughed blood for he knows he failed to protect her.

" N-No....", she stammered due to shock seeing her one and only friend and partner died in vain to save her. She looked up and saw the crown prince holding a sword that bath with her friend's blood and holding a sinister smile on his face. the prince whispered to her that if only she hadn't been stubborn, things wouldn't be like this. She was frozen and tears fall from her eyes. The crackling sound of the fire was the last thing she remembered before she blackout due to the excessive smoke.

This is all your fault !!! You killed us! Murderer! Fake Princess! You are exactly like your dirty mother!

Stop... Please, i didn't want it to end like this. Anyone please... saves me from this nightmare. she cried as she was surrounded by shadows of the people that were close to her. The guilt was too heavy for her.

The sound of water awoke her from the nightmare and she looked around and found herself in a strange void.

" Where am I? ", she asked herself.

" Oh, you finally awake", a mysterious voice said to her.

She was surprised and try to find where the voice came from.

" Hehehe, I'm right in front of you silly.", the voice said to her.

She turned around and saw a child with pointy ears looking at her sweetly. Who is she? Evelyn thought as she looked at the child.

" You're quite a curious girl aren't you lady Evelyn.", the child said to her.

" How do you know my name? ", she asked sternly.

" You don't have to be on guard, you know. Please let me introduce myself. My name is Ruru and I'm an elf. God sent me here to deliver a message to you. He said that he felt sorry for how your life ended and that you weren't supposed to die that way. So he decided to give you a second chance to live back your life the way it supposes to be.", Ruru explained to her.

" How? ", she asked.

" Sadly, as much as i want to tell you. You have to search for it yourself. That is your mission. So, do you want to go back?", Ruru asked.

I can go back... She thought. That means she can save everyone that is dear to her before it can even happened. "Yes", she replied.

"Well good luck.", Ruru cheered her. Then, mysterious light suddenly appeared and blinded her.
