The First Night Together

No matter how much Claudius hates the king he can not deny how impressed he was with how easily the latter started the fire.

He silently stared at the fire feeling the warmth coming from it before scooting closer to it when he noticed how the sun is going down away faster than he expected.

Augustine, on the other hand, climbed the tree one more time in order to take more plums for both of them just in case they needed some at night before going back to where the prince is sitting and sat right across from him next to the fire.

He also watched how Claudius stood up and went to put on his clothes when noticed how the sun finally disappeared and was replaced by the moon.

They did not say a word. In fact, they did not even move, they just kept staring at the fire lost in their own thought.
