The First Hug

A loud thud was heard inside the king's room which was the sound of a heavy steel object getting thrown aggressively on the floor.

The confident smile that was on the king's face widened a bit more when he realized what has just happened as he slowly started opening his closed eyes.

His gaze quickly moved to look at the crown prince's sword that was carelessly laying down on the ground before diverting his gaze toward the latter who was facing him with his back and massaging the bridge of his nose in irritation.

" Claudius?" The king called out the crown prince's name as an attempt to catch his attention but he failed because Claudius did not move or even show him any reaction.

His majesty hesitantly raised his hands to place them on the crown prince's shoulders in order to slowly spin him around so that he can look at him in the eyes, but the latter had his hand over his eyes and also he was lowering his head.
