Ethan was grateful that he hadn't lost the gift pack yet. The gift pack would only be activated when his talent generated an ability from the person it was used on.

Ethan's daily routine of waking up, eating, enduring torture, eating again, and then sleeping continued without any interruption.

On the third day of the torture, Ethan was able to hold on for a bit longer than before, and the healing time increased to four seconds.

On the fourth day, the healing time was halfway to the fifth second.

On the fifth day, the healing time was infinitely close to the fifth second.

On the sixth day, as the healing time was about to reach the fifth second, Ethan lost consciousness due to the intense amount of pain. Although the healing process would heal all his injuries and alleviate any physical pain, it didn't work on the mental exhaustion he had endured. Victory's healing ability only affected his physical body and not his mental faculties.

Today marked the seventh day of torture for Ethan. He was in Eliza's room, his entire body covered in blood, but his face remained free of scratches or blood. Ethan struggled to maintain consciousness as Victor entered into the room to start healing him while he gritted his teeth.

One second.

Two seconds..

Three seconds...

Four seconds....

Five seconds.....

As the blue panel appeared before his eyes, Ethan's vision blurred and he finally lost his consciousness.

As Ethan fell unconscious, William entered the room. "Eliza, he's gone. His Excellency, Eustace, has finally left to hunt," William spoke cheerfully.

Eliza, who heard this, quickly stood up from the chair with a bright smile on his face.

Victor, who was done healing Ethan, also stood up as he heard the news.

"What are we waiting for, then?" he commented while looking at Eliza.

Eliza nodded and ordered the masked men to quickly wash Ethan up and clean all the blood from his body. The masked men bowed and, after picking up the bloodied and unconscious Ethan, they left the room.

"I don't understand why you're taking such a big risk for a mere inferior being," William spoke as the masked men left the room.

"It's definitely worth it. You just have to trust me. That slave is far more important to me in order to rase my strength and I can't let Eustace get any hint of it," Eliza spoke enthusiastically.

William nodded and didn't ask any more questions, trusting his sister the most. She was the reason he was alive and well, and he had blind faith in her, knowing that she always had a perfect reason for her actions.

Eliza was pleased with William's behavior and then glanced at Victory solemnly before speaking, "Victor..."

"I know, Eliza. We're already on the same page. I'm not foolish enough to go against you," Victor interrupted, speaking sincerely.

Eliza nodded and continued, "Eustace will be back within an hour. We need to handle everything before then."

The three vampires left the room and began the preparations.

Meanwhile Ethan was brought to the bathing room.

The masked men delicately removed Ethan's bloodied clothes, and started to clean his body with warm water.

Once Ethan was cleaned, the masked men carefully dressed him in fresh clothes. With a deft touch, they lifted him and carried him towards the backdoor of the mansion.

Outside, Eliza, Victor, and William were waiting, their eyes glowing with anticipation. They were accompanied by ten masked figures, all of them silent and watchful. A horse-drawn wagon stood nearby, ready to transport Ethan to their destination.

As the masked men approached, Eliza stepped forward, her gaze fixed on Ethan's unconscious form. With a wave of her hand, she signaled for the men to stop.

She then ordered the masked men to wake Ethan up.

"Rise and shine, my slave," Eliza said, her voice smooth and commanding. "It's time to awaken from your slumber."

Ethan stirred, his eyes fluttering open as he tried to make sense of his surroundings. He blinked in confusion, looking at the sky filled with stars and the huge trees standing tall trying to reach the stars.

"Outside?" he muttered, his voice hoarse.

"Look here my little toy. You are going away from this mansion with my loyal men here," Eliza spoke.

"Mistress will come for you after seven days. Don't worry you are going to be safe and no harm would come to you. Don't try to cause any trouble and wait for your mistress," She spoke while referring to herself as a third person.

During these days, Ethan was able to fool Eliza into believing that he had completely surrendered to her and was serving as a slave wholeheartedly. This led Eliza to believe that she had completely broken Ethan's mind and that he wouldn't think of escaping anymore.

Ethan looked around and tried to make sense of what was going on.

'Where are they taking me? From what she said, she won't be coming along. Seven days, I have seven days to escape,' Ethan finally understood the gist of the situation as his muddled thoughts became clear.

He had no idea why he was going away from the mansion or what motives Eliza had, but he knew one thing: this was his window to escape from the clutches of Eliza.

With that, the masked men lifted Ethan onto the wagon, taking care to settle him comfortably among the cushions.

"I will arrive at the predetermined location in seven days. Continue traveling in the predetermined direction without taking any unnecessary breaks," Eliza commanded, and the masked men quickly responded by bowing their heads.

As they traveled through the darkened forest, dimly lit by the moonlight, Ethan's mind raced with questions. Eliza, Victor, and William were not traveling with them; only the masked men were accompanying him in the horse wagon.

Quickly, he opened the system panel and looked at the generated ability.

'Enhanced physique? Can it be considered an ability? Will I become as physically strong as Victor?' Ethan thought as he glanced at the timer, which stated that he had to copy the ability within 24 hours, otherwise, the ability would disappear.

'24 hours? I hope we can reach far away from the mansion within that time,' he had no idea what reaction his body would have after copying the ability, but from reading various novels, he knew that it would definitely cause quite a spectacle. So he decided to wait until he was far away from the range of the Vampire's sensory abilities.

Moreover, Eliza wanted him alive, so the masked men wouldn't dare to harm him at the time he would copy the ability.
