Chapter 010 Light and Darkness (Demon Slayer Side)

Kagaya Ubayashiki POV.

As I was sitting on the balcony enjoying the serenity, a crow came and reported something that made me very excited. I listened to the report and ordered the crow to send a message to his slayer Shin to report to HQ. As I was laughing excitedly my wife Amane came.

"You seemed very happy today." (Amane)

"Yes I am. My hunch was right about the new slayer. " (Kagaya)

"Dear are you alright?" (Amane)

She sit next to me worried as I started coughing. I looked at her and smiled.

"I'm okay. I'm just pretty excited about something. Amane please call an emergency meeting towards all Pillars including those who are retired. A storm is brewing and we need to prepare for it. Change has come and I'm getting closer to cleaning our family's shame." (Kagaya)

Amane went out and started calling all the Pillars including those who retired. A day had passed and all Pillars including some retired ones are here. As I walk out into the balcony I was greeted by them while kneeling.

"Oyakata-sama" (All)

"Welcome everyone. Please be at ease." (Kagaya)

"Yes." (All)

"Everyone I have something very important to tell you. As you know there was a mission to investigate and eliminate the cause of people went missing in Mount Natagumo. I sent someone to investigate and solve the it and in my surprise the one I sent had already solved it yesterday. You must be asking why are we hearing such normal mission but to fill you in. Our new slayer named Shin went there and killed a member of Twelve Kizuki. In his report the one he killed has a number five on it's eye which confirms it's certainly a member of the Kizuki. The position is either an upper or lower but the fact that a member of the Twelve Kizuki had been slain by a new recruit would shake not only our Corp but also the demons. Since it's been to long since a member of Twelve Kizuki died in the hands of a slayer."

As they behave themselves the spiky long white hair and large pale purple eyes teen with scar on his face raised his hands.

"What is it Sanemi?" (Kagaya)

I ask the Wind Pillar as he wanted to say something.

"Oyakata-sama where is the one who slain a member of Kizuki?" (Sanemi)

"I already called him here and will be arriving tomorrow. Since a member of Kizuki died the demons would starting to go offensive to us. All of you, be careful." (Kagaya)

"Shinobu prepare a room for Shin when he arrive." (Kagaya)

As I called the three immediately responded. Tengen Uzui a muscular man with lightly-tanned skin and white hair. Kyojuro Rengoku a muscular-athletic build with long bright yellow hair with red streaks akin to flames along with two shoulder-length bangs and two chin-length bangs on the side of his head, black forked eyebrows, and golden eyes that fade to red with white pupils. And lastly Gyomei Himejima a hulking figure among them. He is powerfully built and extremely muscular. He has spiky black hair and a prominent scar running horizontally across his forehead. Having been blind since childhood, he has white eyes with no visible irises or pupils.

"I called you three because I have a mission for you. I want you to train more slayers specially Shin. Although he defeated a member of Kizuki we don't want him to stagnate and become collateral in the upcoming storm." (Kagaya)

As I looked the three who are excited, I called the others and gave them their respective mission to carry. When the meeting was over Amane came to me and supported me as my body felt weak.

'As expected to my wife.' (Kagaya)

"Dear, you need to rest. Let me help you there." (Amane)

"Thank you Amane." (Kagaya)
