The nutrient solution's liquid level constantly dropped.

Raymond's instrument did its job. Waste was pumped out while more solution was constantly added.

Gradually, a prototype took form.

Obviously, the weapon designed by Raymond was different from the alien weapon.

Because it was used by humans, it was more ergonomic in form.
