First Day of the Job
"By the way, I wanted to give you a gift as a memory of getting a new job and being able to start your life out there right away. Is there anything you would like to have?"
When Lisa asked, Este was suddenly confused. Something crossed her mind, and she said somewhat embarrassedly, "I want glasses. No need to be expensive like those worn by nobles or artists. You know, the one that's big and thick… like the one Mark, the manager, wears."
Lisa was stunned to hear that, "Glasses? Why all of a sudden?"

Este felt she desperately needed thick glasses to hide her face to protect herself. She didn't want to live her life there with restlessness.

Este paid for the train ride with the bit of money Harmony and Stephanie had given her. Now he was standing at a majestic iron gate guarded by knights in dark grey armour. Este looked towards the residence.
They decorated the mansion in deep purple, the Zeiss Family colour, with a combination of silver and black, Prince Carl Zeiss's signature colour. The aura that radiated firmly crushed her spirit while still at the entrance. Este looked nervous as she lifted the thick iron glasses hanging from her small face.
Recalling Lisa's affectionate words, Este once again had a strong will. She gave a letter of recommendation to the gatekeeper. The girl tried to remain calm and avoid the glares from the knights.
The concierge looked at the recommendation letter suspiciously and immediately opened the gate, then led her towards the back door used by the servants. Even though they saw something odd, they still allowed Este to step in.

Prince Carl Zeiss' cousin, Marquis Conner Arnold, was the son of the emperor's sister, Princess Taylor Arthur. Even though, when compared to the prince, Marquis Arnold's line to the throne was far from the lineage of the emperor's son, even so, his figure was still a core member of the royal family.
After bringing a cover letter with an appearance considered contemptuous, Joanna couldn't send Este back even if she put on an eye-catching sight.
