I was the king of the eastern Roman Empire I was Justinian.... the problem was that it was 1444 yeah my farther the previous emperor had died of natural causes which wasn't nice. Now your probably confused which is obvious to me if you'd read this but I before this I was a military engineer then history teacher and I had died somehow
Then I met Rob a somewhat nice guy if I do say so myself since well he gave me 3 wishes and let me keep my memories for free anyway my wishes were 1.Replace the emperor of the eastern Roman Empire in 1444 as a healthy intelligent buff and influential son 2.I want the world to have the Eu4 system 3. To have the best ruler stats ever including traits
With that I found myself as Juliann the next emperor of the eastern Roman Empire as the people who ruled it called it which was eh I guess anyway seconds later a nice purple screen popped up announcing the implementation of the Eu4 system in this world
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Hello kings, horde leaders, emperors, tribe leaders doges and a pope I am Rob and I am giving you a gift for you to rule extra good so your welcome oh and my man hope that they don't figure out the things from the leviathan dlc so good luck
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
With that i felt myself well do the spirit thing Doctor strange did when he met the ancient one the I saw everything in well the normal Eu4 game mode and with that I checked my stats and saw some bullshit like seriously 10,10,10 strict web-weaver free thinker calm and the best off all immortal
Now when I read that a stream of knowledge came into my mind I knew how to restart my nations economy defeat 20,000 troops with just 1000 I knew how to charm a nation into giving me everything they had now this was a description stating how the diplomatic military and administrative scores translate to your own ability and I had 10,10,10
So I was a stronk immortal Uber ruler anyway with that I sailed towards Rhodes which held the crusader/knight order of something anyway I was going their to use my new 10 diplomacy to get them to work for me which I easily did because 10 diplomacy is a cheat of massive proportions
With that I had 13,000 zealous loyal and experienced knights and by knights I mean knights they all had full plate armour great equipment and swords plus I took their island and boats they had a pretty big fleet considering they only had one island which they used to raid the infidels coasts
Continuing on after that I sailed to Greece to set up a camp for my future invasion of the ottoman sultanate now I personally went to Karaman the blue nation at the edge of the Ottoman sultans border to create a deal and by deal I mean use my 10 diplomacy against the kings 2 diplomacy to make them join me in my war against the Ottomans
And once again the 10 diplomacy was essential I got the king to make sure once he died I inherit his kingdom and while I was their I made sure to make the nobles administrators and army to like me then I took all their ducats (Eu4 universal money) which was all together 137 ducats which added to my 163 ducats making me have 300 ducats all together
I then went into the ruler mode and recruited 6 infantry which would take a couple months to finish training then I went to the vassal province of Arta and officially integrated it into the Eastern Roman Empire then I went to Athens and did the same
Then I went to Venice and used my 10 diplomacy to once again get a great deal I got ancient Eastern Roman artefacts the island of Crete and Negroponti the province next to Athens then I ordered 5 Barques which cost me 80 ducats and with me also using 60 ducats to train and recruit 6 infantry (not like 6 people 1000 people each 1 infantry)
Then while that was happening I went to Genoa to get back the islands off the coast of Anatolia which they agreed to they also said that they would help me if I wanted to fight the infidels of the Ottoman sultanate I refused their help their leader had 4 diplomacy so he could probably see what I was doing since it was pretty simple
Then I went to the one island between Greece and Anatolia which was owned by the small kingdom on it I quickly integrated it into my new Byzantine empire then I waited for my ships and soldiers to finish and in a couple months they did I had 41 ships ready for combat and 24K troops then I made myself a general and found that I was a 7,7,7,7 which was great for me to know
I then upgraded the defences of Constantinople and left a defence force of 4000 and took the rest of my soldiers to my Greece territories then I declared war on the Ottoman sultanate and the sultanate of Karaman joined in with that the ottoman troops in Anatolia focused on Karaman while the ones in Greece fought me and even then they wouldn't be able to cross the straight with how many ships i had I with my 20K force quickly attacked the under armed ottoman troops in Selznick
I completely destroyed them I lost 347 troops while they were all dead then I went for the ottoman troops in Edirne and once again I completely destroyed them with that I told my troops to divide them selves and carpet siege the ottoman territory's in the Balkans then I made myself a admiral since my fleet was about to fight the ottoman fleet and once again I was a 7,7,7,7 and once again I completely destroyed the ottomans
Then I started to blockade every ottoman port and once my soldiers were done carpet sieging I moved them all back to Constantinople reuniting them with my 4000 soldiers protecting my capital then I went into Anatolia and met the ottoman army that had come back from utterly annihilating the Karaman's I then annihilated them and started to carpet siege them into submission
Anyway a month later they were at a hundred percent and with my 10 diplomacy I completely annexed the Ottoman sultanate and Karaman cause the ottomans utterly annihilated the king since he was leading their small army into the ottoman army of 18K with 9K and he was a bad military general so yeah I had gotten the empire back it had only been 7 months and I had already retaken the empires main holdings
Then I used my saved admin mana points and started coring them them I completed these missions "reviver Greece" giving me these bonuses permanent claims on Bulgaria,Thrace,Silistria,Hüdavendigar,Aydin,Albania and permanent claims on Ohrid and Skopje and I got the resurgent Byzantium and got +1 yearly legitimacy and -5% aggressive expansion impact for 15 years
Then I completed a lot of other missions that gave me tons of permanent claims but there was one mission that gave me something other than permanent claims and here is what i got from it "+10% manpower recovery speed -10% land maintenance modifier for 15 years " that was it that was how the new Justinian the great had recreated the eastern Roman Empire in a couple months
This was how Justinian the great had done something previous emperors had been trying to do for centuries this was my story of how I had rumbled the world order this was how I had conquered the world and reestablished the Roman Empire in all its glory
