Arren spent his birthday with his father, as usual. And yet, he was not exactly satisfied. Perhaps it was due to his having expectations for this birthday.
He thought at least Spade would greet him, but his birthday ended, and he had not heard anything from the alpha. He felt disappointed. After all, Arren was under the impression that their relationship might be ambiguous, but it was going in that inevitable direction in the end.
Of course, he didn't let his mood affect his father, so he celebrated his birthday without thinking about anything else; only after he got home did he sulk about it.
The next day, as he didn't have class, Arren decided to rest at home. Truly, he was still slightly mad that Spade had not greeted him, but he was hoping he would come like he usually did. To his dismay, Spade was also nowhere to be seen.
