6 Ben's promise

Kevin comes back in a white T-shirt and shorts as he sits on the stool in the kitchen, thinking what to cook for dinner While Bem goes changes and Kevin was lost in thought as Ben came back into the room and leaned against the wall as Kevin sighs and gets up as he walks towards his Art room when Ben grabs Kevin's hand and Kevin turns to him.

"Kevin, I promise, that I'll make you feel emotions again" Ben says as Kevin nods.

"Emotions" He says to himself.

"Yes Kevin, Emotions, I'll make sure you will be happy or sad or angry sometimes Disgust but you already have that" Ben says with a smile as Kevin just listened.

"I promise" Ben say as he lets Kevin's hand go.

"It's not gonna be easy" Kevin says as Ben shrugs.

"I hope it doesn't" Ben says and Kevin nods and goes in his art room and shuts the door as he looks at the photos of him being happy with Josh as he sits.

"Come on Kev" Josh says as Josh runs and Kevin is laughing as he goes after Josh.

"Josh, Imma gonna get you" Kevin says when they was just inches apart and Josh leaped to the left to dodge Kevin as Kevin smirks and Jumps on Josh and he pinned him down.

"Ha, got ya" Kevin says as He looks down at Josh as Josh was looking at him with that look again.

"Josh?" Kevin says when Josh flipped them over to where he was on top and was pinning Kevin down as Kevin laughs.

"Neat trick" Kevin says as Josh Shrugs and gets off and Kevin punched Josh's shoulder and they laughed.

~Back to Reality~

Kevin looks at the Empty canvas and started to paint something as he stayed in the room all-day and when he notice it was dark out he came out as the painting was just the background of a pond and rose fields as he nods.

"Ben?" He calls out to see Ben asleep on the couch and he shaked his head and picked up Ben and layed him on the bed and he sat.

"I'm sorry Ben, but I can't have Emotions or have someone close to me, without thinking of that day" He mutters as he gets dressed and walks outside and he keeps walking as he goes towards his secret place and he lays under the cherry blossoms tree and looked up at the sky as he closed his eyes and when he opened the again he saw Shadow ,but not near him, near the water as he was sitting there.

"Hey, um, Mom, I know your listening, it's just I found a kitten, should I let him free or try to win him" Shadow asked the sky as he sighs and places his hand in the water so Kevin decided to go to him and he sat beside Shadow.

"Couldn't sleep" He says as Shadow looks at Kevin with wide eyes.

"H..how?" Shadow says and Kevin lays back.

" I always came here when I need some inspiration from this place or to take a break" He says as Shadow watches Kevin as he notice Kevin's shirt went up a bit and he say a burn scar acrossed his waist and Shadow was curious as Kevin just thought of Ben's promise.

"Shadow, right" Kevin says as Shadow smiles.

"Yes Kitten" Shadow says as Kevin shakes his head.

"If someone promise something that you know won't happen, what would you do" Kevin says as he looks up at the stars and Shadow thinks.

"Well it's like the stars, One promise can't always happen but with a billion one could happen" Shadow says as Kevin sat up and nods.

"Kitten, why don't you like it when people touch you?" Shadow asked and Kevin lays down. Flithy child, Disgusting, Your not meant to be happy, Your a boy, they are always flithy, Others touched you don't touch me, These was the words his stepmother always said to him over and over.

"I feel disgusted" He says when Shadow goes across him and pins him down.

"How do you feel now" Shadow says as Kevin looks at Shadow.

"Not disgusted" he says as he pushes Shadow off and sits up as he looks down at the sand as his heart raced alittle like when he gets close to Ben. Meanwhile Ben wakes up to see he was in bed so he got up and walked downstairs to see Kevin left his art door open and he wasn't home so Ben goes towards it and goes in to see photos of Kevin with some kid as they was smiling and he seen Paintings of the same guy along with one that's a field and he seen a sketch of him as he blushes and he sighs.

"I promise Kevin, you will feel emotions once again" He says as he goes out the room and shuts the door.
