80 Chapter 79

[Third Person's PoV]

Cid didn't stay long after basically traumatizing everyone with his power. After walking away he teleported back towards the school, as he did he changed back into his school uniform.

As he turned the corner he almost bumped into someone but moved out the way, that person was Rose.

"There you are!" She exclaimed, happy to see him.

"I was looking for you everywhere" She said as she let out a sigh of relief.

"Why?" Cid asked while looking at her weirdly.

"I was worried something happened to you, you didn't appear after everything ended and I assumed the worst"

"You were worried?" Cid asked with a raised brow

Rose then got slightly shy as she responded "Yeah, I mean we're friends right"

"We are?" Cid questioned, 'Since when?' He thought to himself, they barely even talked to each other and the last time they saw each other he basically called her a burden.

"We're not?" Rose sadly questioned right back "Sorry, for assuming. I just thought that since we've crossed swords we have became friends"

Cid seeing her expression could just inwardly sigh to himself. "No you're right, we're friends"

"Really!" Rose asked excitedly, she then realized her over-enthusiasm and coughed to correct herself "I mean, Really?" She asked in a soft tone.

Cid once again sighing to himself said "Yes. I mean only really friends survive a terrorist attack together and life to tell the tale"

Rose put her loosely closed hand near her mouth and lets out a small chuckle "I guess you're right"

After walking side by side for a few seconds Rose then asked "Hey do you have anything planned these past few days"

Cid thinks about it for a bit before shaking his head "No not really why?"

"Perfect. Well the Goddess Trail is happening in a few days and I wanted to know if you want to go together. It'll be fun" She asked while looking at Cid expectantly.

Cid just shrugged his shoulders "Sure why not… It's a date then" he says causing her to freeze, while Cid continued walking and waved his hands,

"Well I'll see you later"

Rose stood in her spot frozen in shock. Her cheeks then gained a small blush as she smiled watching his retreating back, noticing that she has been doing that alot lately.

"It's a date then" she whispered to herself and turned around and walked towards her dorm.

The next day…

Alpha was seen sitting down at the head of a table with the rest of the girls from the 7 Deadly Sin.

"We have somethings to discuss, especially about the event that happened yesterday" Alpha started the meeting like usual, but after getting their titles they like to be known as such during such meetings like Alpha during this meeting is known as Pride.

"First things First let's talk about what I heard Master Shadow say while he was annihilating his enemies.

He said and I quote, "Good or Evil it matters not, for I would continue walking the same path I always have. So you could do whatever the hell you want, you want to throw every evil onto us then do it! The opinions of ants have never been my concern and they never will. You want to think that We, Shadow Garden, are the most horrible organization in the world, then think it, you want to think that we follow the path of righteousness, you can do that as well.

But know this, such thoughts won't change a Goddamn thing. I don't need the approval of anyone else other than my own" end quote"

"As expected of Master, such words and enticing sentences could only be constructed by him" Lust aka Beta says while taking out a book and begins to start writing what she heard.

"Lust we've discussed this, No writing during meetings. You always lose yourself during and don't pay attention" Pride reprimanded.

"Sorry, but I just couldn't help it" Lust whines.

Pride then continued "As I was saying, I always considered The Diabolos Cult to be the Bad and we, Shadow Garden, the Good, but Master didn't think so, his resolve was much higher than that"

Gluttony aka Zeta nodded her head "The perception of a higher being of such caliber is difficult to interpret."

"Now the reason for this meeting, Master's words have made me realize that we aren't living up to that resolve and so we must do something. Master has started doing things himself, things that should have been our job to do… Greed the posters"

Greed aka Gamma then took out stacks of wanted posters from her shadow and put them on the table.

"As you can see, one of The Diabolos Cult goals in yesterday's incident was to frame Master with the crimes of, Mass Murder, False Imprisonment, Arson, and Robbery" Pride read out from the poster with a playful smirk. "But they fail and badly at that"

Pride's smirk then went away as quickly as it came. "However they didn't fail because of us they failed because of Master. Master went and did our job basically calling us incompetent"

Wrath aka Delta then slammed the table and stood up pushing her chair back as she did "WHAT! BOSSU DIDN'T SAY THAT, DON'T LIE!"

Pride look at Wrath without saying a word, which caused Wraith to flinched and pulled the chair back in place and sit back down

"Sorry" Wraith said, which she then pouted and crossed her arms "Bossu would never say that about Delta, ah! I mean Wrath?"

Gluttony then scoffed "Stupid dog doesn't even remember her own title, maybe she should just get it permanently change it to Mutt"

Wrath then growled towards her direction and said "Stupid kitty is just mad that the one Master was calling in-com-pe-tent was her" Wrath said with a pleased expression having come up with such a good counter even though she had to sound out Incompetent to actually say it.

"What did you say you wet stinking dog?" Gluttony hissed.

But before their argument could escalate any further they felt pressure, a hint of killing intent was felt towards their direction, scaring both of them causing their animals instinct to go crazy. They quickly turned their heads and looked towards Pride who was looking at both of them with a cold expression.

They felt cold sweat start gathering down their back, they both then apologized muttering a "sorry" before sitting down.

They both then looked at each other and scoffed, turning their heads in opposite directions.

"I never said Master called us incompetent I only said that it was implied. We couldn't even make sure our name and Master's name were not slandered.

It is our job to look out for such a thing and take care of it as soon as it pops up but Master took care of, while we were waiting twiddling our thumbs Master sent his soldiers throughout the entire kingdom and took them out and collected the wanted posters from their hands.

This is why I say we should step up our game and actually get productive. That's why I have decided that we will be going to Lindwurm, during the Goddess Trail and destroy and get everything we will ever need" Pride explained as soon as Wrath and Gluttony calmed down.

Pride then started giving everyone their mission and task…
