71 Chapter 71

[Third Person's PoV]

'He kissed me, He kissed me, He kissed me, He kissed me, He kissed me, He kissed me, He kissed me, He kissed me, He kissed me' Sherry kept repeating in her head as she ran through the underground tunnel.

Meanwhile Cid, who was now transformed into Shadow, stopped on top of the building, while there he turned his attention towards the auditorium.

'How the hell did she get captured?' Shadow thought as he felt the shadow soldier he left with Rose in the auditorium.

'Show me what happened' Cid ordered the shadow. As Cid watched the memories of the shadow soldier and nodded her head.

'I see, so a new batch of cult members started patrolling the classrooms and stumbled upon them. But instead of engaging them, Rose decided that it was best to surrender to them, since they didn't have a chance.

I can respect that she chose to think like a leader and think about the people around her instead of her own pride. She knew she was no match for them. She knew that if they fought, they wouldn't have been able to win, so she chose the most logical option.'

Shadow then noticed what she was doing, she was using a small knife she had and started cutting her bindings.

When she was done she tried to pass it to a girl next to her but the girl was too scared to do anything and they ended up getting discovered.

"You over there! What do you think you're doing!" One of the cult members demanded.

Rose just showed her hands and surrendered herself "She didn't do anything, I untied my hands"

The cult members gained a cruel smirk "oh? You still don't understand how futile it is to surrender? Looks like an example is in order" he said as he pressed his sword against Rose's neck.

Meanwhile… Sherry shook her head to not think about what just happened, even though she finds it very difficult, her main priority is saving her foster father.

When her foster father was the only one willing to take her in when her mother died. To her he's the only family he has left. She had to save him, Sherry wiped her tears and continued running. But instead of running away from embarrassment, she was running with the determination to save her father.

When she arrived at the auditorium she peeked through the large gaps of the tunnel and threw the key of the artifact.

At the same time as Sherry threw the key towards the inside of the auditorium, the cult member that had his sword took a large swing of his sword.

A large flash of light then appeared, Rose then started feeling her magic power returned to her. She made a slashing motion with her hand and took a swing at the cult member's hand as he swung his sword towards her, completely dismembering him.

Rose then caught the sword that was flying off the cult member's cut hands and swung at the other cult member that was rushing behind her while screaming

"Why you little-", she got the guys head off and announced

"OUR MAGIC IS RELEASED, THE TIME IS NOW, RISE UP AND FIGHT BACK!"

Which started boosting the morale of all the students, they took their swords and joined her in the fight.

As she started fighting more cult members she started getting surrounded, she swung her sword at a member but it ended up behind too shallow which allowed him to make a cut on her arm.

Which allowed more of the cult members to surround her, and just as they were about to thrust their swords killing her, all of their heads were suddenly cut off from their heads sending them flying with blood spraying everywhere.

"Don't make it a habit to meet like this little lady." Shadow said, appearing in front of the kneeling Rose. Rose looked up and froze in shock. "Azrael." she softly muttered.

Before she could say anything else, Shadow put two fingers in his mouth and let out a loud whistle. Causing all the windows to shatter and members of Shadow Garden to appear.

Gamma appeared with a witches hat while flying on her broom while laughing arrogantly. She then made a two finger swiping motion upwards and used gravity magic to levitate some of the cult members.

She then clenched her hand into a fist turned those levitating members into meatballs as their blood rained down to the ground.

"Hohohohohohohoho" she laughed behind her hand.

As soon as Beta jumped through the window she released wind arrows she already had in her bow and released them. They maneuvered around the students below without hitting any of them and just hitting the cult members directly on their head killing them.

When Alpha landed on the ground, it started breaking apart causing roots to appear and take a hold of the cult members, as they wrapped around them, their appearance started to change. They looked like they were being sucked dry making them take the appearance of mummies without their bandages.

When Alpha was done she commanded the roots to throw them away like disposable garbage, her roots then started to wrap around the injured students and Rose which freaked them out after witnessing what they did.

But instead of turning into mummies their injuries started to heal, seeing this Shadow smirked and turned towards Alpha "I see you finally figured out how to do it, congrats"

Alpha then puffed out her chest in pride "It was thanks to my Lord's hint on the matter that I was able to do it"

Meanwhile as soon as Delta landed she put her hands in the ground and wrapped around with thick layers of rocks.

She jumped from cult members to cult members pulverizing their heads until there were none left. Delta then started shaking her hands causing all the rocks to come off of her.

"BOSSU! I'M DONE!!!" Delta shouted quite please with her work.

Just as they were turning around to leave, Rose called out to them "Wait! Just who are you guys?!" She asked in shock, unable to believe the carnage she just witnessed.

Shadow looked at the girls causing them to smirk. They then all spoke at the time as if they had rehearsed this a thousand times, while they started sinking into the shadows.

"We are Shadow Garden, Ruler of the never ending darkness, Masters of the shadows"
