26 Chapter 26

~Omni pov~

Zeta has joined Shadow Garden for 1 month officially and she can be seen jumping from tree to tree very expertly.

She is currently doing a mission assigned to her by Shadow and Alpha, that is to infiltrate into the Elven capital and secure and locate a possessed.

When she got close to the capital she lands ontop of a branch to the closest tree she could manage to find and enhanced her eyes with magic. Her cat eyes narrowed zooming in, overlooking the security details of the main gate of the Elven capital.

When she saw Elven guards scanning the perimeter she knew that she only had one chance to sneak her way inside. Luckily being undetected is one of her strongest skills.

Using her magic Zeta managed to hide her presence and with great patience she managed to get inside the capital without getting caught.

Normally one would just need to pay and pass through inspection to be allowed in, but since this was the an elven city that means any other races that entered would be closely monitored, something Zeta didn't want to happen.

As apart from it being a infiltration mission it's also a testing ground for when she actually has to sneak inside other cities and towns that are owned by the Diabolos Cult. Her main mission here is to infiltrate the capital and rescue a 'possessed'.

Once inside Zeta used her cat like agility and flexibility to maneuvered herself around the buildings. As she moved building to building her cat ears would twitch and move in different directions hoping to hear anything that could be useful.

That is until she heard "Do you think we would have to burn the library, I'm afraid it has been tainted by her touch"

Zeta looked at the direction where it came from and parkoured herself all the to the closest building.

Zeta saw that she was close to a library, and infront of it was a little girl with brown hair and purple color eyes with a sleepy expression, who was tied up being pushed by two elf guards with poles just pushing her forward afraid to touch her.

Zeta seeing this just grew irritated and clicked her tongue seeing someone being treated like that. She then looked at the shadow under her and whispered "call master"

A hand soon appeared showing a thumbs up signifying that he was listening.

Once she saw the thumbs up Zeta then said "Master there is someone here but I can't save them at the moment... The guards are making it hard to do, if I save her now I would soon be surrounded making it worse"

Shadow then sent her a sound transmission using magic that said "You've done well, good job. Leave it all to me, your next training mission is to exit without being discovered."

Zeta then nodded knowing her master could see her and left.

As for the girl, as she was being poked and pushed forward, suddenly her shadow started moving and her shadow soon expanded circling her.

Seeing this all the guards moved back and jumped in fright thinking that the little girl would soon be possessed by a demon.

As for the girl she looked at the shadow underneath her in fascination.

Then someone appeared exiting the shadow like the one who left it all behind.

It was Shadow...

And as he exited he made a cutting motion with two fingers causing the bindings that were holding the little girl in place to be cut apart.

As he landed his coat fluttered in the wind

He then extended his hand towards the girl with a sleepless expression who was looking at him with undying curiosity.

"Well then little beauty let's get out of here, shall we?"

The girl quickly grabbed onto his hands and they both started to sink into the shadows but before they could fully be submerged they heard the sound of the elven guards yell out

"Hold it right there"

Shadow then turned to look at them and say "No" and just sunk fully into his shadow, completely leaving the elven capital and confusing every guard that watch such a scene.

When Shadow and the girl emerged from the shadows they appeared between the other members of the shadow garden by the entrance to the woods.

He then turned to the sleepless girl and started to heal her demon possession and once he was finished the girl just kept giving him a fanatical look mixed in with endless curiosity. She wanted to learn more to know more about him.

When he finished healing her he said "Eta, Eta is what you would be called from now on and as of today you are a member of Shadow Garden, so what do you say"

"Would I be able to learn more about you" she asked

Shadow just smiled as he said "I'll be willing to even teach you myself"

Eta with a tired expression just smiled and said "Then I would like to join"

And as soon as she said this Shadow smiled and covered her entire being in shadows, and as it dissipated Eta can be seen wearing the honorary slime suit that every member gets when they join

She started to examine it carefully and started asking questions about it, which everyone else started to answer.

Alpha then started the introduction to Shadow Garden like she already has everything memorized.

"We are beings that live in the shadows and hunt in the shadows....."

When Alpha finished explaining everything Eta's fascination towards Shadow grew even stronger. How could it not, with the powers she saw he possessed and hearing the actual history of the past.

When the introductions where over they stood where they were awaiting for Zeta. And as they waited they heard the sound of snoring and looked to the side where Eta was fast asleep leaning against a tree.

They didn't wait long as Zeta soon appeared and when she did she reached out her hands towards her little brother as Beta was currently carrying him.

And with that all 7 members have officially joined Shadow Garden making the start of their many years together.
