BOO! SURPRISE CHAPTER

~Omni pov~

Cid seeing them kneeling before him gains a small smile on his face and recall his new shadow soldiers into his shadow

He then picks up Claire from the ground and puts her on his back as he gives her a piggy back ride, but instead of leaving the forest the first thing Cid did was look around the camp of the bandits.

He kept looking for any valuables until he came across a chest filled with zennies. One zenny in this world is the equivalent to 1 yen in Japan. So Cid was quite pleased to find 170 gold coins in the chest, 1 gold coin in this world is worth 100,000 zennies so imagine a chest with 170 of those coins the total would be 17 million zennies in total.

Cid slowly pulled the chest into his shadow keeping it safe there and started walking out of the forest with Claire on his back.

Claire then woke up with a bit of a daze and asked "What happened?" While shaking her head slightly to get rid of it.

"You let your guard down that's what happened. If I wasn't there with you, you could have gotten killed or worse sold off as a slave"

Claire hearing her little brother reprimanding her gained a downcasted expression and put her forehead by his shoulder.

Cid feeling his sister's mood just sighed before saying "Sigh, if this was a duel between knights you would have won i guess, so there's that"

Claire just smiled at her little brother when he tried to cheer her up and wrapped her arms fully around his neck, she then moved her head giving him a kiss on the cheek and positioned her head on top of his not even bothering to get off him.

Cid feeling the kiss on his cheek just smiled slightly before going back to reprimanding her "I hope this taught you a lesson, since this wasn't a knight duel it still meant you could have died due to you're carelessness, you have to remember bandits have no honor

They're extremely cunning because of it, the moment they became bandits was the moment they threw away that honor they once had, so they would use every trick in the book in order to win.

Do I make myself clear Missy"

Claire while still hugging her brother from behind just hummed saying she was listening.

And while Claire was hugging her brother she thought back to the scene of him sitting on the pile of bodies 'Just how strong are you Cid, I wasn't even fighting the scarfaced bandit for a long time and you already defeated all the other bandits....'

She then thought of the look her brother was giving her, the look of pure disappointment. While biting her lips she thought to herself 'Never again, I won't let him look at me with such a look ever again, I'll be strong.

I'll become strong enough that the next time he looks at me it would be with a proud look, he will be proud of the strength I gained and how far I come.'

Ever since that day Claire kept to her promise and started training harder than ever, it was to the point where Cid had to stop her from over training herself.

And with that 2 whole years passed...

Cid was seen flying in the night sky with his shadow outfit that was made out of slime.

Apart from the outfit Cid made two angel like wings also made out of slime to maneuver in the air much better.

He continued flying about until he ran across a bandit camp similar to the one his sister found when they were smaller but this time it was in the middle of an abandoned town.

And without much thinking Cid tucked in his wings and dived straight into the ground.

*BOOOM*

Dust soon flew everywhere, he then spread his 'Wings' showing an imposing figure.

As soon as he landed all the bandits came out of their camp wondering who was causing such a commotion.

It wasn't only the bandits who went to look at who made such a commotion, a little girl who had her mouth, legs, and arms, tide soon crawled her way to take a peek of what was happening through the opening of the door where she was held.

And what she saw left her in awe...

Cid using the wings made all the dust fly away leaving him in the middle of the crater he created, he then held out his palm as the wings on his back started to detach itself and fly into his hand transforming into a long sword.

Cid without much thinking just covered his sword with armament Haki and sent a flying sword slash towards the bandits that started to surround him.

The slash wasn't even made out of magic it was purely made out of his physical strength and expert swordsmanship.

The slash just cut apart anything it made contact with, every human was soon bisected in half. Seeing some managed to escape the slash, Cid took a step forward as he disappeared from everyone's view

He then appeared infront of a bandit and swiped his sword downward in a beautiful arc, he took another step and disappeared once again appearing infront of another bandit repeating the same movement with grace and beauty

And when he was finished he just swiped his sword clearing it of any blood left in the blade. And with that all the leftover bandit soon gained a straight line from the top of their head to the bottom of their crotch perfectly symmetrical.

Which was quickly followed by them being spilt in half and blood flowing everywhere.

Feeling the presence of a kid near a building he made his way towards it. and as he made his way his eyes gained a bright purple hue as he said

"Come forth and serve"

which caused all the shadows of the bandits to appeared before him and go inside his shadow, increasing his ever growing army.

And when he opened the door to the building all he saw a blond little girl tied up looking at him with stars in her little eyes.

Cid just smiled slightly as he bend down and untied the girl setting her free. He then turned around to walk away but was stopped by the little girl who grabbed his long coat and said

"Wait mister who are you"

Cid just smiled at her as he held his sword forward and made it jump on his back and turn back into black angel wings.

He then spread his wings and said "You can just call me Azrael"

And with that he flapped his wings and got out of there since he already collected all the treasure the bandits collected while he was untying the girl, who was known as Rose.
