Kariel disappeared after saying those words.

" No! Don't leave me here! Please Kariel come back! Help! " Rhys begged to Kariel through gritted teeth and tears in his eyes.

But to no avail.

Soon Rhys fell on his knees and curled into a ball on the floor.

[ Buckle up Kid] Alvin's voice resonated within Rhys' mind .

Rhys felt a surge of energy and quickly lifted his head. He looked behind him to find himself sitting upon some kind of white stone altar.

Looking to his right, he could see that the altar was located inside of a small cave, and the ceiling of the cavern was high above him.

And there were large cracks in the walls.

[ Hey Kid! you awake yet?? ] Alvin's voice echoed inside his head, as he walked out from his hiding spot in front of Rhys.

" Where the hell am I?! " Rhys shouted angrily to Alvin

[ Relax kid, I'm your guide ] Alvin replied confidently.
