Long Awaited Unity

What?

In her many years of living, she longed to her that word once again.

It was something, even at her age, that never seemed to fade from her memory. This was because, it was always a desire that's held a place in her life to no end. What she so long to achieve herself but never could, and what she wanted her daughter to achieve so as to not suffer as she had.

This marked the moment the true connection to Nature would fully manifest.

But... how?

She was sure that her daughter knew not to play around with such matters, this was because she knew how well she had drilled into her daughters brain how important such an event was. While her daughter may not know of the full extent of the gravity of such an event, it still held great weight within her mind.

This should be a day of celebration...?

It was the day she would formally leave the forest, finally raised by the purest energy of nature, brought up in the purest environment without a taint of the real world, seeing everything for its truest form.

But, was she telling the truth? She had never doubted her daughter before. It was only upon Shuyun entering her life did such things of oddity concurrently occur one after another.

As she herself hadn't reached the full connection with nature, she couldn't validate her daughters statements then and there.

And then again, it would mean that Shuyun truely did name her... but would someone with such an ability and mastery of the concept of nature itself really 'die' to her in a single movement of her finger?

All of these thoughts and Inferences ran through her head in not even a full second.

She immediately grabbed her daughters hand, not sparing a second for realization. The moment she touched her daughters hand, they became but a mirage, soon dispersing into thin air.

While her body may not be present, a lingering voice of authority rang out.

"Ai, find the boy housing for tonight"

Her voice soon too faded along the gentle wind of circulation. Not long after, the rooms grand double doors once again opened. Shuyun turned to face the girl in question, while still processing the events that had taken place before him. He still, even after some interaction, couldn't read her. But that was for another time.

To the present, he hadn't gotten a good look at her before, as in the midst of lingering combat, he felt it above him to do so. Only now that tension had return to ease did he feel okay allowing his gaze to fall upon her. Now that he knew of just what Meiying's mother backing meant, he could feel comfortable even if he had to be in the room with the rabid tiger.

*Creak!*

The doors fully opened.

A figure with stature similar to Meiying entered his view. Though, immediately, he found her to be a stark contrast to her. Dark green hair cascaded down her back. Rosy red eyes decorated her pearly white face as her black uniform hugged at her waist. A dull dark green scabbard hung as the edge of her waist, contrasting the dark color of her uniform. Her every step, silent, as if the elf before him was but an image.

A perfect representation.
