Chapter two:Taking a walk Time:2:17 PM Date:May 12th,2016

Jai and Eli both turn around to see who yelled at them, Rai runs towards them and then starts to decelerate once she gets very close. Eli and Jai both put their hands out to stop her.

She held both of their forearms as she caught her breath,then looked up at them and smiled. "I was hoping I could walk with you guys,I don't usually walk home with anyone because it's no one that lives in my area…or at least I thought." Rai said

"We usually stay after school so that explains why you've never seen us." Eli said as they continued to walk "You've been really silent,something going on?" Eli said as he looked over at Jai.

"Yeah I just had a nightmare in science class and it felt too realistic." Jai said quietly as they continued walking. "So did you finish the test?" Eli asked as he got closer to Jai's face with one eyebrow slightly perked up.

"I got an A- and I only had around 5 minutes to do it,the nightmare was literally just this guy who had gray skin and he killed me." Jai says as he looks up and Eli.

Rai suddenly looks up and then looks over at both of them. "You said a man with what type of skin?" She asked as she scooted closer to them.

"Like gray scalish skin and a purple monster next to him." Jai said as they turned the street which meant that they were getting close to the house a U.V inc billboard stood tall in the distance.

Rai waddled over to Jai and then whispered in his ear."Have you heard about the story of the elemental?" She said as they all walked over to the sidewalk. Eli answered his mom's call and then responded yes to everything she said. "Sorry to interrupt but mom wants us to thaw out the chicken and take out the trash as well as washing the dishes." Eli said as he looked over.

"I hope you know that it's your turn to wash them right?" Jai says as he directs his attention towards Eli. "Uh hello?" Rai said from below him.

"I don't really care about it." Jai said as he stared down at her.

"It states that everyone 50-125 years a new elemental will come and take the place of a new one which means that there could possibly be a new elemental somewhere but no one knows where." Rai explained to him silently.

"And what's that gotta do with me?" Jai asked as he took out a bag of grapes and unzipped the ziplock bag,he then ate one and threw the bag at Eli. Eli caught it and then nodded in respect towards Jai.

"It might be crazy but I think you might be the elemental." Rai says intensely.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH." Jai laughs out loud and then falls to the ground making everyone stop in their tracks. "YOU-YOU REALLY THINK THAT I AM-." Jai continues to holler out loud as both Eli and Rai look down at him.

Eli looked at Rai with a confused expression and Rai looked up at him with a look on her face that entailed she was annoyed. After Eli helped Jai up Rai immediately got in his face again.

"I'm not kidding, you could possibly be special,your dream could be a vision." Rai said

"Think about it,it all adds up,number one you had a vision of a supernatural human being number two it could possibly be you so we might as well take that chance." Rai adds on

"And even if I was the elemental, how would we know?" He asked as they turned on their street.

"In a dire situation the elemental awakens it's true nature…meet me at the neighborhood park at 12 o'clock at midnight." Rai said as they continued to walk

Eli keys made a jangling sound as he took them out of his backpack,he hit Jai on his back and then began walking on the brick steps towards the house.

"Remember what I said." Rai said as they walked their separate ways.

"What was that all about?" Eli asked as he and Jai walked into their house, a home alarm system immediately went off and Jai went towards the kitchen to turn it off. "Nothin much she was just spouting nonsense." Jai said as he pressed three,one,eight and zero.

"She's kinda weird if you ask me."Eli said as he walked into the kitchen and began running the water in the sink. "Oh mom said Markus and auntie Hope were coming to visit so that's why we're cleaning up." He added on as he began to scrub the dishes.

"We haven't seen him in months,why do you think they randomly decided to visit?" Jai asked as he pulled up garbage from the trash can and placed it on the floor.

"I dunno but one thing I do know is that we better clean fast because mom comes home in about an hour." Eli responded.

Jai opened the back door and then walked out with the trash,he shook his hand on the doorknob and then flinched back and shook it. "Damn!" Jai yelled out as he threw the trash away and then walked back in.

"Everything cool?" Eli asked as he continued to wash the dishes. "Yeah I'm fine but imma go clean up the room."

Jai walked up the stairs filled with pictures of their family and their cousins,aunts and uncles. He used his hands to push him up the carpeted stairs until he reached the top.

He then closed his mom's room and went into their room which had clothes thrown around on the floor as well as the Mini basketball trash can being overflown with fruit roll up packets. He took a deep breath and began to pick up the clothes on the floor and throw them into the dirty clothes basket.

He then grabs the mini trash can and then puts it in a bigger trash can in the bathroom.

He then comes back and grabs the vacuum and then steps on the red button,he begins to vacuum the room while listening to music. Once he finished he looked around and then nodded to himself.

Eli walked up to the room and then looked around and nodded "Not bad at all." Eli said as he grabbed the painting he made and put it underneath the bed.

"Hope you're ready because we have to put on our best I'm happy to see your faces." Jai said sarcastically

The door opened and they both heard a voice come from the living room.

They both ran downstairs to see their mom holding a bag of scented candles. They all embraced each other and then she looked down at both of them smiling.

"How was the day at school?" She asked as she walked into the kitchen

"It was fine…we found a new friend." Eli said enthusiastically. "Oh that's always nice to hear." Jade said while looking around.

"You guys did a great job, I'm proud of you!" Jade said as she grabbed her bible and put it in a different position in the living room.

"We learned about something called the elementals in class today too." Eli added on as they followed her.

"Oh yeah…the elementals,I remember learning about them when I was a kid too." Jade said as she placed the fire down and lit it.

I'm going to go get in the shower,make sure when Markus and Hope come you mind your manners and also be nice!" She shouted as she gradually made her way up the stairs.

About an hour later they get a knock on the door while relaxing.
