Reviews of The Elemental Tower

Read to chapter 39 This isn't a player turns NPC into a game novel. The MC is transported into a fantasy world where he has a system based on a social browser game and that he only bought the starter pack for. He has to level up his base (Elemental Tower), summon heroes (like Dra), and build up an army of mob soldiers (Elemental Summons). As long as you've played a game that requires you to train armies and summon heroes you can pretty much understand the gist of the novel, I've only read one translation similar to this called My Doomsday City(or Fortress?) and I'm a fan of these type of novels. Overall I like it. 😁👍 [My Doomsday City(Fortress?) doesn't have many chapters translated btw]

Just finished free round and gonna give you some honest reviews. First, the game is not based on MMORPG so it's kinda refreshing to read. Second, does it lead to harem? Yes or No. All the party is Female but that's just the setting of the game. So far the flag isn't raised yet but only left to see in the future. Third, The story flow is nice, for those who like fast paced story development probably won't like it but it's just fine for me. Neither rushed nor filled up with filler. I think I'm gonna give further reading if had the chance. Wdyt fellas?

Im caught up with Translations. I really want to like this, I really do. But to soon to judge this story. My first impression of MC is - incompetent and slow-dim witted, perhaps even naive. He behaves like a Newbie Gamer all the way through. Nothing goes as planned. The NPCs know more about the Mechanics then he does - even though he read the guidebook as well. I understand the Author trying to make him seem like a normal person who was dragged into this but he’s a man, get a grip lol. It’s quite worrying if this gets in politics, I can see him easily getting caught up in unnecessary things. There is still hope for this novel. If MC group gets overly powerful quickly, so the drama is nothing. Also if MC establishes his npcs as his wives soon. That’d save this novel. (Because obviously they’re going to be courted after) I really like these first 4-5 girls. They each have their own personality. I’m glad MC not a pervert but it wouldn’t hurt to be more dominating.

If you are looking for a novel to read try Plague Doctor in the trial read. Its a genuinely good novel with no young master face slapping Bs. With good plot progression and actual character's with depth to them. And a lot of mystery.

Finished all 60 preview chapters. What I can say is that, it starts off weak. Only after 15-20 chapters it gets more interesting. The system is all right. not the best or worst. It's basically a mobile gacha game system with some modifications here and there. The Mc is meh, nothing interesting. Your average Joe, only a little more foolish. It is a decent read, if you have nothing better. I really want to know the raw title of this novel. If someone knows, please comment. Thanks

Terrible beginning, lazy writing, and lack of originality. MC reminds me of those beta protagonists commonly found in Japanese LN. Actually, the entire novel resembles a Japanese LN. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is a badly done copy of it, but I lack the ability to continue reading this disappointment. I really wanted to like this since many of my fellow daoists kept urging me to try it, but I’m utterly disappointed. This is a piece of garbage. Don’t waste your time.

Overall synopsis is good but the system mc gets is broken so no levelling, no exp form killing monsters and no quests but give it a try mc can get female heroines.

it's the very best novel from webnovel just so sad that it never bean pick up hope that some day someone i really wish and hope that it will be translated :)

What happened? Why is this not picked up ? This is a good novel you know. Beside the fact that MC don't have guts to flirt with the heroes, all aspect is good. Maybe most reader frustated since the way to level up heroes not revealed in early chapter but aside from dense MC, this novel just got better the latter chapter you read

I enjoy the concept of the novel, it's a different type of kingdom building. I also enjoy most of the character building. The only problem is the MC which is a Moronic Spineless Coward, which makes it for a hard read

Well I got to the chapter that is released for free so I will give an honest criticism about this story. About the world: history has much to explore, since in 39 chapters the protagonist has not yet left his tower to explore and is only aware of practically two races that appeared near his tower. Based on that, history still has a lot to offer and explore. Development of the Story: the protagonist carries with him a tower leveling system (which is not very weak but is also not OP) where practically everything the protagonist will do will revolve around this tower system. The flow of the story progresses very slowly where the problem that the protagonist has with the werewolves in (Chap. 2) has not been even close to solving in (Chap. 39). I believe that the biggest problem in this story is the first 10 chapters where it appears that some details are missing or that something was skipped. Example chapter 1 itself The protagonist takes everything as if it were the logic of a game (where it gets to be irritating at a certain point) and also the protagonist's own attitudes are quite questionable. Your decisions and attitude makes you wonder if the protagonist really has an ***** mindset. In short, a cowardly protagonist with a sense of inferiority who apparently never goes to hand his women. 2/5 star in character just because of the incompetence of the protagonist. Details aside: the story is from Harem where in 39 cap the protagonist already has 4 girls. The story also has a lottery system (Gacha) very seen in a mobile game so the protagonist must get more allies (girls) from that system.

This novel is fun, usual transmigration into the game world but with gatcha and summoning powers, there are many novels similar to this and all of them are dropped, i hope webnovel pick this is up so we can see the ending XD mc talks too much and most of them chapters are wasted on his inner thoughts and calculation and kinda dense and a bit stupid, may be itll improve in future, not much explained about power levels or the background as most chapters wasted on his inner ramblings. side characters or his harem which fortunately have their own personalities despite coming as 100% loyal to mc and also has their backstory (not explained much in these 60 chapters) dont know why is it rated low but other cultivation novels with same revenge and trash young masters rated 5 stars XD [people are fuked up] Overall this is an interesting NOveL

Too much dry information about various tower facilities being what level, and as usual mc is a dickless virgin who runs away from sex..... Whats the point of having a obedient female harem when u keep writing about a dickless vegetarian mc ??? However this are only minor issues so i minus only half a point... The story itself is mostly base development and hero development.... It is interesting with good pacing and i am looking forward to read more.
