14 The Succesor

"Hello boy I am, Luciv," the old man said while smiling, "Nice to meet you senior my name is Jax." Jax decided to introduce himself to this man, after all, he was all alone now no sins were present so to act arrogant in front of this man would be stupid. "I know who you are Jax son of Zeldris and Gelda" it was said in such a casual tone it seemed as if what the man had just said was something normal.

Jax immediately backed off from the person in front of him was scary his own adoptive father didn't even know the name of his birth mother yet this man knew.

"just who are you," Jax asked he was scared of the man in front of him yet he couldn't feel any bad intentions towards him.

The old man sighed, "it's a long story young one would you care to listen" the wind started to pick it seemed like they were trying to hide this story. It was as if the story that was about to be told was something no one should know. "I wish to listen," the boy said while looking serious.

"as you wish" the old mans face changed from a neutral expression to a sad one, "it all happened long ago it was an era that even your father Meliodas can't recall" Jax frowned after all Meliodas has lived for 3000 years yet this man has lived far longer apparently.

The story continued, "I was born from one of the strongest Demon kings that had ever set foot on this world, Lucifer, many demons would wish to be his offspring yet for me it was the biggest curse that was possible" the man stopped while looking towards the blue sky.

"after all im no full demon I was what people call a bastard child" Jax looked at the man interested in what would follow, "you know Jax people like me were a shame to the great Lucifer he had many wives yet all were high ranking demons.

But then there was me born from a lowly human woman raped by the man that everyone in the demon realm loved. You know at first I took pride in being one of his only sons, after all, he could only birth a few sons because of his strength that was beyond any Demon King in existence.

I lived many years training to impress my father I was given no name until I finally became the successor of the throne" Jax was scared this man was the successor of Lucifer? Of course, Jax knew of Lucifer in his past life he was one of the most known Devil's.

"I was proud of the fact that I was named the successor and got the name Luci to represent my heritage but that was until I found out about my mother."

Tears formed around Luciv's face the old man that seemed way too dangerous at first wasn't that scary anymore a sad voice continued his story, "her name was Vivian a normal human that had beauty that surpassed even the gods and the demons. When one day Lucifer was walking in the human territory he saw her the most beautiful women in existence.

Of course he wanted her. Yet she refused him not knowing that that was the worst thing she could ever do after all who would dare to refuse a demon king of his standing?

He had his whole life women throw themselves at him yet right now a human woman dared to ignore him. Vivian was a woman with a loving family a husband that she dearly loved and a small baby boy so why would she even look at Lucifer.

But Lucifer didn't know the meaning of defeat when Vivian one day returned home she saw a sight that would haunt her forever. Her dear husband and child laid there in a pool of blood coldly killed. Until she saw the man that spoke to her earlier. Lucifer walked towards her and on that day was the day that Lucifer got her pregnant with me."

The calm face that was on the old man before was gone and only tears were present. "When I was born she didn't hate me no she loved me yet when Lucifer heard off me I was taken to the demon kingdom there I trained for many years to only learn the truth too late. Vivian my mother had died at the hands of the man that killed her husband and my little brother. Lucifer had killed her after i was born. When I got to know of this I went on a rampage around the demon realm killing many demons in the progress. Yet the man that I truly hated survived, Lucifer was too strong.

I was on the verge of death before I teleported to this forest I don't know exactly why but Lucifer didn't sense me in this forest. I trained and trained for my revenge until I had heard Lucifer was gone. I know that he isn't dead and most likely moved on to another world that I can't reach but my hate for him is still present."

The story finished and tears where in Jax's eyes what this man went through was truly heartbreaking, "you know Jax the reason I still have the Luci in my name is to never forget the hate I feel towards that man, and the V is for my mother Vivian the kindest women that has ever walked this world. A women that was raped yet the child she got out of that was shown no hate. She loved me yet i couldn't even save her. That is my greatest regret."

"why do you tell me this Luciv" Jax asked him his voice was cracking of the story he just heard. Luciv looked at Jax and started speaking, "its, because I wish you to be my inheriting disciple" Jax, was shocked why would this man want him as his disciple so he asked the only question he had, "why?"

A calm expression returned to Luciv's face while he spoke, "because your love is the same as me"

"what do you mean," Jax asked wondering what he meant.

"Jax you and I are the same I turned the whole demon kingdom upside down for the only person that ever loved me. My mother. And I know you would do the same for your family isn't that right. I dont have long to live so i was looking for someone to inherit my techniques. Thats when you where born Jax a boy with immense talent. I have been watching you in the shadows and then i saw it. The same love that i have the desire to protect your loved ones no matter what. Thats why i wish for you to become my disciple. Am i right about your love Jax" Jax looked at the man in front of him before giving his answer.

Note: i personally dont like fan fictions to fully focus of the original story i know there will be people that dont like this. But is it such a weird thing that there are other demon kings? after all a normal demon can only live for 3000 years so there have been more demon kings. I always wanted Jax to have a personal Master and not just the sins.
