48 Old Friends

A plain area with still a bit of green left could be seen. Two men could be seen standing there the sweat still on their forehead. Destruction was what followed after their weapons clashed.

A young man with a woman next to him appeared while he smiled at this sight. The people that clashed together were Jax's friends Gilthunder and Howzer. It had only been a few months yet they got stronger. In the original story, their power was 2330 and 2350. In terms of the Kingdom of Lionnes, they could be considered strong.

Yet before the people with real strength, they were nothing. Thus Jax decided to inspect his friends to see how strong they became. Shock washed over his body when he saw the numbers they had both a total of 15.000. Something that normally wouldn't appear in a human.

Confusion was what he felt he had hoped his friends would become strong yet what they achieved was something he didn't expect. The woman who stood next to him smiled and spoke "Jax you made some great friends" Rose spoke.

She had seen what Jax couldn't. Jax turned his head to the woman next to him and asked her if she knew what was going on. Smiling she explained, "they have both broken through the limitations placed upon the human race." With a confused expression, Jax asked what the limit was.

"You got to understand the human race have lived millions of years. The population and birth rate of the human race is immense. What would happen if the human race could easily access these powers?" And then it hit in Jax's head if it was easy for the human race to access power. They would reign in the higher realms.

Human nature was not good if one was honest they craved for power and domination. It was seen in the history of his old world and also of this world. "who placed a restriction on their power?" deep down he knew what would be the answer but it was better to be sure.

"Some say it is a powerful man some say its the law of the universe itself no one really knows but there is one thing certain. The strongest gods are those that have broken through their human limits." She looked towards Jax "they have potential." Jax was glad that it turned out like that he would have hated to go into the higher realms alone.

Gil and Howzer would turn out to be a good ally to have in the upcoming fights. Jax knew that the two were familiar with fighting together so he was sure they could fight some of the commandments alone. When the two stopped their clash they felt someone approaching. Turning towards the way they heard the footsteps they saw him.

Jax their friend the one they were waiting for. Back when Gil was not bound by the curse anymore and Howzer who had realized how wrong he had been. They wanted to see him yet when they asked the sins where he was no one knew. Not even Meliodas could give them an answer to were his adopted son went. Determined to somehow match their friend they left to train.

Not returning for the coming months. They put themselves through absolute torture almost not sleeping. Determined to get the strength to stand beside the one they called "little brother."

"Its been a while guys," Jax said with a bright smile. As soon as they saw that smile they started to smile to "its been a while lil Jax" Gilthunder said. The three looked at each other and a genuine smile was on all their faces.

Jax was happy that the system gave him a mission to befriend them back then. Now that he thought about it he hadn't used the system in so long. Yet he wanted to keep it that way. How could one reach the power of the Universe creator when he relied on a power made by him? It was impossible.

The two-man turned to the woman next to their friend and asked who she was. Like this Jax started his story, "my friends its time to tell you something" like this Jax spoke of his life story.

Not the story of his reincarnation but he spoke of his true heritage. Keeping some points away like the part with Cupid. Eventually, he would tell them yet he couldn't right now.

They also had to know of the enemy that would be coming so they could get ready. As he expected a battle intent leaked out when they heard of the enemy. 'Is this all your doing creator' is what Jax wondered. Every single thing that had to do with the system seemed to contain something more. Cupid had told Jax to find comrades since he would need them. He had found them and instead of being mere humans they broke their limits? Just what was that mans plan.

Maybe he would never find out what went on in the head of that person. After the story ended the two stood before their friend without any change. Only a little amazement while Gil spoke up and lightly punched Jax's shoulder "thank you for telling us but nothing changes right."

He said while looking over to Howzer who just stood there while also agreed. Smiles were seen that day while the friends were catching up. Talking about old times and the teasing of Gilthunder about his lover. Yet Gilthunder was not the only one teased because Jax was teased with his 'girlfriend' Rose.

Smiles were seen and the woman that stood next to the young man was glad that he had such friends. And was happy to see him talk so excited. Normally not much would interest him yet when he was with these friends of his he opened up. Laughing about the times the three played together and many more things.

It was a good day. But every single person could feel the storm that was brewing.
