7 Dagger

After bumping into Howzer and meeting with each other Jax went into the workshop and there he saw Raizer in his work clothes ready to start forging as soon as the door opened and Raizer looked over his shoulder, "so you are here boy" (Raizer)

Jax smiled seeing how Raizer was already ready to forge this would only mean one thing the man was passionate about what he did and Jax believed in one thing people that were passionate about what they would do will always improve and give good work. "Yes I am what type of materials do you have for my dagger" (Jax)

"Come over and take a look" (Raizer)

Jax walked towards Raizer and it was clear that he was excited normally he would walk on a normal pace but right now he was close to running when he finally made his way to the table he saw it there a black piece of steel that looked beautiful without any polishing. "What is this Raizer," Jax asked he had never seen such beautiful steel he had expected that he would get some quality steel but from the first glance he could tell this was the best of the best.

"This is a piece of black steel that I got a long time ago I never knew when to use it since it's too precious to use it on an ordinary weapon and there is not a lot of it so the only thing I could forge of it is a dagger. There are not many people that would want a dagger and I don't want to waste it on an ordinary person that would never use it well so I decided to give it to you" a smile could be seen on the blacksmiths face, after all, it was the dream of every blacksmith to have his work be used by the strongest people and an adoptive son of one of the strongest person's in the Kingdom would definitely not be ordinary.

Jax had already concluded this because it was to be expected of a good blacksmith so he only answered with, "Thank you."

And like this the forging process started the immense heat the sounds of steel and metal hitting each other could be heard for a couple of hours before it stopped and a beautiful black dagger presented himself. Raizer looked proudly at this creation he knew this was one of his best creations ever and was pleased he looked over his shoulder to see the boy with an amazing face looking at the dagger this was to be expected because it was truly one of the most beautiful daggers Jax had ever seen.

Raizer picked the dagger up and walked over to the boy and handed him the dagger to see it up close while saying, "you are now the master of this dagger so you can name it as you wish"

Jax looked at the beautiful blade in his hand and started thinking about what to name this blade and then a name came to him a smile formed on his face 'im the sin of love so why not' and in the next instant Jax spoke up, "This dagger will be named, Cupid"

Raizer didn't know why but he felt that this name fitted with the dagger, "that is a good name boy." Like this Jax had named his life long partner 'Cupid also known as the god that shoots arrows at people's hearts to make them fall in love but my partner won't make them fall In love no, this dagger will pierce the hearts of my enemies to protect the people I hold dear'

Jax thought he had already thought killing would make him feel indifferent because in his past life he was no saint and had made some of his business enemies disappear through the hands of others but deep down he was still scared to kill so only time will tell if he would be able to kill someone directly with his own hands.

Just as Jax was preparing to leave Howzer entered the door while being tired after all he had been training with Dreyfus the full day without Jax noticing it was already night time. Howzer saw Jax and did a small bow, "sorry for bumping into you earlier today"

"Don't worry about it" Jax said while smiling at how pure Howzer was it was portrayed in the series that he was a person that was a real Holy Knight that truly cared for the people and Jax could see that right now.

Jax and Howzer started talking and soon kicked it off Howzer didn't expect to befriend someone so much younger than him and Jax didn't expect to truly like Howzer after all his only reason to befriend Gilthunder and Howzer was to finish the mission so he could get exp and get stronger.

After talking for a while Howzer and Jax decided to meet more often and like this a couple of days passed the tiring training continued and finally it was Jax's one of day and the day he had planned to hang out with Howzer and Gilthunder without him knowing Merlin and Meliodas were watching him with a smile when he ran off to meet his two friends the only reason Jax got a day off was because of Meliodas and Merlin.

"Jax always acted grown up despite being a kid I'm glad that he found some people he could call his friends," Meliodas said the care for Jax was definitely noticeable in his voice.

"Yes it's not good for him to only focus on training," Merlin said with a smile on her face.

Jax ran towards where he had decided to meet with Gilthunder and Howzer and when he arrived he saw the two boys standing there with smiles on their faces while saying. "Hey Jax" and like this the day in the Kingdom streets started that day was one of the days Jax would always remember how they laughed with each other and the good food they ate together without Jax noticing he had truly become their friend while Gilthunder and Howzer saw him as their little brother and friend the friendship they had wasn't that long-established but for some reason they knew it would last.

At the end of the day, the 3 boys could be seen sitting on a mountain while watching the sunset and Gilthunder spoke up, "Howzer and Jax why do you want to become a Holy Knight."

Howzer was thinking before answering with "I want to help the people and what about you Gilthunder" they both had not met too long ago so he didn't know about Margaret yet so Jax decided to tease Gilthunder a bit, "to protect the women I love Margaret" he said in his voice that sounded the most like Gilthunder.

Gilthunder started blushing and Howzer sat there confused with a question in his mind, 'who is this Margaret he cant mean the princess right' but then Howzer asked Jax the same question "why do you want to become a Holy Knight"

At this moment Jax really started to think he had never considered becoming a real Holy Knight and to be honest he didn't even know what his end goal was but he liked it that way he wanted to go with the flow see how everything would turn out but if he was to give an answer, "to become strong" 'strong enough so I can protect anything I want' Jax said with determination present in his voice.

What Jax didn't know was that back at the palace Merlin and Meliodas were talking to each other about something, "do you think it is time" (Meliodas)

"Yes, you need to captain," Merlin said while looking serious.
