CHAPTER 8

They all went to Hailey's room, when they opened the door; Hailey hit Molly in the stomach. She had untied the rope and hid behind the door so that she could wait until someone opened the door so that she could escape. Nick took her and slammed her to the wall; she gave her a blow in the face that made her start bleeding.

"Is this the person that you want us to forgive Molly, I am not going to forgive her, she should stay here with no food or water, that will teach her a lesson," Mike said helping Molly to get up.

"What do you want from me?" Hailey shouted.

"We should be the ones asking you what you want from us, why are you doing this Hailey." Jillian asked her.

"I don't want anything from you, I just want Molly to leave Nick for me, that's all," she replied and all the students laughed.

"Really, is that what you want, is that why you want her to die Hailey, we thought that we could give you another chance but it seems as if you don't need one. Oh, I know exactly what you need, your father," Charles said.

Hailey knew that if her father got to know what she did, she would be in big trouble, she fell down on her knees and pleaded with them, "please, don't tell my father, he will kill me if he finds out."

" So when you planned doing this, you didn't even think that you have a father that you are scared of, it shows how foolish you are. The next time you plan to do something stupid like this, first consider the consequences of what you want to do. I am sorry Hailey but you have left me with no option than to tell your father, I protected you thinking that you are a good person not knowing that it was just a mask. The true you was behind that mask, maybe you will get to your right senses if you talk to your father," Molly said.

She went out and called Hailey's father explained everything that had happened and told him that he should come and talk to her. No one had ever seen Molly this angry before, no one dared to stop her from calling Hailey's father because they knew that she was hurt by what Hailey had done. They locked Hailey in her room until her father came. Mr. Wong called them to the dining,

"We are running out of time, Winkle might come after us soon while you are not fully trained. Nick and Molly, I am afraid we might have to start training before you are fully recovered; after all, you seem to be ready because if you were not, you would have all died. Your fellow students still need some training; you can come and watch if you want. Deon, Dean and Phillip you may join the others in training that is if you are sure that, you want to join the team but we don't want problems," Mr. Wong said and went outside to welcome Hailey's father who had just arrived.

"I am very sorry Wong that your students suffered a lot because of Hailey, I thought that she had changed," Hailey's father apologized.

"Life is full of surprises, I never knew that she could do something like that," Mr. Wong lied. He knew that Hailey was not who she pretended to be, he knew what she was going to do but he thought that Molly would become stronger if she went through that and so would Nick. He knew every student's behavior, although he would pretend as if he knew nothing.

"Where is she right now?" her father asked.

"She is upstairs, in her room," Mr. Wong replied.

"Ok, I will go and see her," said her father.

When Hailey heard footsteps, she knew that her father had arrived and she pretended to be sleeping.

"Hey, Hailey wake up, I know you are not asleep, you are just pretending. I am not going to push you into doing something you do not want anymore, you are now grown up. But sometimes, the decisions your mother and I make are for your own good, we did this for you Hailey, you have to protect yourself," her father said.

Hailey had never heard his father talking to her like that; he never had time to talk to her like that. Hailey realized that she had hurt her father by her behavior; he was hurt that he could not even shout or raise his hand to beat her. She lifted up her head and started crying, "Father, I am sorry. I don't know what came over me, I promise I will not repeat it again, please forgive me," she begged.

"I did not say apologize to me, I just want you to know that we will not always be there for you, you have to learn to make decisions that are good for you and decisions that will not hurt other people. You never know those people may save your life in the future, the same people that you made go through hell. Get over it now, Nick is in love with someone, which does not mean that your life has ended it still goes on. Hailey, you are no longer a kid, you cannot expect your mother and I to be wherever you go to make sure that you are doing the right thing," her father said and left.

These few words made her realize that she had done something unforgivable; she had messed up because of her selfishness. She had to go and apologize to Mr. Wong for what she had done; she wiped her tears and went to Mr. Wong. She knocked on his door and when he saw Hailey, he continued with what he was doing. She kept on knocking until he told her to come in, "what do you want Hailey?" he asked her.

"Sir I am sorry for what I did, I don't know what came over me," she said.

"Really, is that your apology that you do not know what came over you, had you taken drugs, or were you under a spell when you did that?" Mr. Wong said looking at her.

"No sir, I was in my right senses," she replied.

"So leave my room until you are sure that you really want to apologize," Mr. Wong said.

"No no sir, please forgive me, what I did was very wrong, I am truly sorry," she said kneeling down.

"You know what, you should be doing that to Nick and Molly then after that you can come to me. I knew from the first day you were born that you were going to be selfish; you wanted to kill the students who matters to me most, the students who have the abilities that will help us to win the war. You go and apologize to them first them you can come to me," Mr. Wong said.

Hailey felt guiltier seeing Mr. Wong's worried face, she knew that she had hurt many people. Mr. Dalton and Mr. Yen who were sitting in the dining room, just looked at her when she passed through, her father had already left.

She found Nick and Molly at the back of the house with the other students, she stood at the corner of the house for a minute thinking whether to go or not. She realized that she had no option than to go and apologize, she found herself in front of Molly.

"What do you want again, you have hurt her more than enough, I guess you have now come to finish her?" Nick asked her.

"No, I came here to apologize to all of you for what I did, I am very sorry," she said.

"Is this coming from your heart or it's just one of your tricks so that you can go and kill me?" Molly asked her.

"I mean it, I am very sorry, I was wrong and I did that out of my selfishness, please forgive me," she said with tears running down her cheeks.

Molly did not like to see anyone crying and she went to where she was kneeling and helped her up.

" It's ok Hailey, I have forgiven you but for me to forgive you completely, you have to do one thing for me, in that way I will know that you are truly sorry" Molly said.

"I will do anything, just name it," Hailey replied.

" Here, this is my phone, I want you to call my father and apologize to him, after that call Nick's father and apologize to him, then lastly call your father and apologize. If these people forgive you then I will also forgive you and so will all the others," Molly said giving her phone to Hailey.

"You have to explain everything that happened because we did not tell them," Nick added.

Hailey called Molly's father, explained everything then apologized. Mr. Wilson loved Molly so much that he did not want anything to happen to her so it took a long time for him to forgive her but later on, he did. She then called Nick's father and did the same then lastly she called her father who did not answer his phone. She looked at Molly with a pale face, "he is not picking up," she said.

"Keep on trying, he will pick up or your mother will," Molly told her.

After five trials, her father then picked up, "say whatever you want to say, I'm in a meeting," he said.

"Please father, forgive me, I promise I will never do anything that bad again, please," she said.

"Ok, I forgive you but if you do it again don't call me or come here because I will not accept you," he said.

"I promise," she said smiling.

"Ok, I have a meeting to attend to, love you," he said.

"I have done what you asked me to do, am I forgiven," she asked Molly.

"Of course you are," Molly replied hugging her.

"But there three more people left," Jillian said.

"Mr. Yen, Mr. Dalton and the most important of all Mr. Wong," Anne supported Jillian.

"After that you can come and apologize to Mike," Dean said.

"Ok, I will be back Mike," Hailey said leaving.

"Wow, how did you think of that, which was hell of a punishment?" Deon said.

"The next time she thinks of doing anything bad, if she thinks of this, she will not do it again," Molly told her.

"That is a good idea, you should have also made me to do that, it would be fun," Mike said and the others laughed.

"We have to go and rest guys, tomorrow we are starting to train," Abby said.

"She is right, we have to rest," the others agreed.
